The best day of school that I have had is, my first day of seventh grade. This was the best day of school for me for three amazing reasons. The three reasons my first day of seventh grade is the most special to me are, I wasn’t going to be treated like a baby anymore, I don’t have to walk in a straight line anymore in the halls, and the most important is, the food is amazing in high school. My first reason that my first day of seventh grade is my favorite day at school is, you won’t get treated like a baby anymore. This is a very important reason to me because, all through the fifth and sixth grade we were all treated like babies. In the sixth grade they kinda let up on treating us like babies, but not all the way. They would make us walk in a straight line to every class. If we were talking to our friends we would get in trouble. Then at lunch they wouldn’t let us talk until we were finished eating. I’m not gonna lie it got a little annoying. Then the teachers would make us hold their hands or sit beside them if they thought that we were being bad or not following directions. The second reason that my first day of seventh grade is, I don’t have to walk in a straight line going down the hallway anymore. I really like this one because, I would …show more content…
The food in high school is great because you can choose whatever you want to eat. You can eat from the Ala Kart or you can eat from the normal line and eat whatever is on the menu. My favorite part about high school is you don’t have to drink milk if you don’t want to you can drink sweet tea. It is like heaven here. Then after you finish eating lunch you can go outside and play on your phone and talk to your friends and laugh and make noises that you couldn’t in elementary. High school is so much fun, I have never been so happy at schools in my entire life, and I have never been so happy to see a Monday morning come and see a Friday night
On my first day of Seventh grade it was different from victors first day of school. First, I did not try to impress someone. Second, I listened to
Eighth grade and ninth grade are nothing alike.They are not alike because in eighth grade the eighth graders are the oldest students there.It is also different because since they are the oldest they get the most respect.In ninth grade the ninth graders are the youngest and get the least respect.In ninth grade or freshman year the students are new to the school and you don't really know anyone but your friends.To get through your first year as a freshman you must make a lot of friends and have good relationships with all your friends. Something that can help make you many friends is joining clubs or teams.Another way to get through freshman year is by helping other students on homework and classwork.If you are done with classwork
The age of nine or ten is when I realized that I wasn't like the kids around me. I did not have people to call mother or father , no one to come to parent teacher conferences. Not having anyone to draw the family photos of, it was just me and my sister. Remembering being all alone walking down those too long and too big halls filled with too many people. Everyday as a Nobody Girl with clothes too big from the local Goodwill was shoved pushed aside or tripped and as I get up I put on a brave face for my sister. She was everything to me. Having to be brave for her, to her I was mother and father , not sister. Getting home from a too long of a day for a ten year old, and had to deal with an emotionally abusive guardian, and a depressed guardian
A time in my life when something bad turned out to be good was the middle of eighth grade when i wasn’t do well in my classes. This situation was bad because my grades weren’t good, and I wasnt doing the homework. One day in class , the teacher gave me a note from the office that said the principal wanted to talk to me. When I got to his office he was telling me that my grades were really low and I had to attend the after school program for forty days if I wanted to walk the stage for eighth grade promotion. From that day on I realized how important it was to be doing my homework if I wanted to succeed in school. After like a month my grades started to improve to B’s and it made me so proud of myself. It made me proud because, I was able to
These are my plans to succeed in the rest of the 8th grade school year.
I just want to say 8th grade is an experience you will never have again. It’s a point in life where you are a kid and adult at the same time. It’s a place to grow up and become who you want in life. Your 8th grade year is going to be lots of hard work, you have to fight to make it. Mostly no one slips by 8th grade without attempting to do their best.
Eighth grade is an exciting year as pupils are prepared for their departure into high school. This, of course, comes with the endless speeches of preparing for the future. Some of this preparation includes encouraging students to think about their future. Some of this preparation includes encouraging students to think about their future careers they may want. Doing this helps the eighth graders realize the importance of looking at careers early on so when the time comes for them to be employed they aren’t freaking out and having existential crises. At an attempt to match a job with our interests we were asked to take an online quiz. This quiz would spew out categories which could be clicked and opened. Within them would be a list of jobs. After
Fifth grade was intimidating, it was where all four elementary schools combined. Fifth grade was also when you could start band. I had taken piano lessons in the third grade and had loved learning to play an instrument so I was extremely excited to join band. I was particularly looking forward to being able to play another instrument. I had no idea what to play, my mother had hoped I would choose the drums instead I had defied her wishes and picked the clarinet. I had two reasons for picking the clarinet, the first reason being I thought it looked really cool and decided I wanted to learn to play it. The second reason was based on the suggestion of Stephenie, our original plan had been to play the cello together but at the last moment she decided to play the flute. It was after this shift in instruments she suggested I play clarinet so we could play across from each other. Without any sort of idea as to what
My first day as a seventh grader was crazy. Once I got off the bus, I walked into the building and found myself not knowing what to do. So, I just followed the other kids to see where they were going. After following them, I found myself in the gym. Everyone was talking to their friends and comparing their schedules to see if they had any classes together. I looked to see if I could find any of my friends from last year, and fortunately I did. They were sitting on the other side of the gym at the top row. I walked up the bleachers stairs and sat by them. I had not seen some of them since the last day of sixth grade. Then, I saw Mrs. Grieb and Mrs. King come up to give us a first day of school speech.

It all started on a rainy day and in Florida, that's common. It was the second week of 5th grade and everyone was done showing there new, cute school clothes. They were back to the same thrift store clothes they had last year, but not I! I was running late because I was on the hunt for the perfect outfit! Even though it was Monday and I usually don't care at the beginning of the week, I was determined! After 30 long minutes, I finally found the perfect outfit with the perfect hairdo but all I needed were the perfect shoes to go with it!
It is the first day of school, well it is for me because it’s my fourth day in the United States. Many of the students in the first grade classroom have been in class for a couple months. A teacher tries to make me feel better of the new surroundings, I have to face the school cafeteria for the first time and I make a lifelong friend. The two first experiences in school were tough, but I made a true friend on the fourth day in the country.
After graduating at the top of my 8th grade class and being named the valedictorian, my future appeared to be bright. By this time, I already envisioned having a career in the military. The road to getting to the top of my class was by no means easy. The mental strain placed on me through bullying was immeasurable. I knew what I wanted to do in life, but being degraded by the people who were supposed to stand by my side as friends took away a lot of my motivation and confidence. How could the same people I trust steal things from me and harass me? The effects of these incidents were displayed throughout my ninth-grade year in high school
After my first day of school, a day that was so enjoyable, I could not wait for the next one;
High school includes ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth graders. There a few schools that are just ninth grade centers. These students belong as one and deserve to be one. Ninth graders shouldn't be seperated for particular reasons.
