Petrick Neighborhood Landscaping- When I was in seventh grade, I started a business cutting a couple of my neighbor’s lawns for the summer. Over the past eight years, I have grown my business to service over twenty clients on a weekly basis, providing any and all landscaping needs. Since I am still able to independently service all my clients’ needs, I have never had the time or need for any other summer job. This has been a very beneficial experience for me because I have been able to independently handle all aspects of my business, which has continued to grow every year since the beginning.

The site of Bayview Yards was once a symbol of Ottawa’s growth and prosperity – housing “buildings associated with municipal works including machinery storage and repair, stables, offices and stock rooms” . The once lively and rich community of buildings and civil workers required in aiding in the operation of the city has since been exhausted and its importance forgotten. Despite bordering three of Ottawa’s historic communities: LeBreton Flats, Mechanicsville and Hintonburg , Bayview Yards remains relatively lifeless since the decommissioning of the City Works Building #4 in the late 20th century.

My recommendation is to fire Sinclair and hire M. Bowman as this course of action would best suit the company, and give the depot the best chance of realizing its goals. This process would include a hiring period, and a period of time in which M. Bowman familiarizes himself with his department and correct any wrongdoings erected by Sinclair. M. Bowman’s starting salary would be $75, 000 per year, with the optional yearly bonus and additional increase at the end of his contract.
For more than fifty years, Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) has been a vital part of life in the Okaloosa and Walton county areas. In addition to serving the community with adult education and college courses, NWFSC provides the Child Development & Education Center, Collegiate High School, AmeriCorps, Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, and Mattie M. Kelly Cultural & Environmental Institute. A natural extension of these programs would be an on campus NWFSC Garden. Overall, Meadowlane does an exceptional job of accepting and representing different cultures. It’s heartwarming to students to see many different ethnicities represented around your own school. It’s very eye opening to Caucasian students to understand and see other students as the same. In my elementary, there were only photos and posters of Caucasian students or adults. Although, Meadowlane does not represent language very well for their school demographics. Their school is very diverse with a large population of ELL students. It would be awesome if some of those students could take a break from the stress of learning English. This break could be just by seeing a poster or reading a
