“I’ll have 6 eggs, a big glass of orange juice, a banana, and some oatmeal please” said DeSean “ You’re one crazy kid” said the female bartender at IHop. “Yes ma’am, I might be crazy ,but ready for football this morning” DeSean responded swiftly. The bartender responded almost immediately saying “Damn right, hope you do well this morning, I’ll have that food out real quick honey”. DeSean waited for less than 5 minutes before chowing down on over 1000 calories. He exchanged some words with the bartender and he was off to football.
Before you know it football was over and DeSean was drenched in sweat. He went to the locker room to change and freshen up before returning to school. As he was walking in was greeting by a “Hey loser” from

DeSean snickered as Jimmy walked out of the principal's office pissed off. As for DeSean this was the start of something great.
DeSean walked off the field drenched in three things. Blood, sweat, and tears. He’d been working his ass off ever since Jimmy left not only to prove him wrong but to make his family proud. As for Jimmy he moved schools and never came back which lightened DeSean’s world up. He became the star receiver of the Mustangs. With a perfect record throughout the season it was no doubt they were going to go to finals. And they did.
DeSean woke up to the ringing of his phone at 7:00 a.m. he knew this was going to be the hardest game he has played ever. All throughout the day he was listening to tunes and deep thinking about football just to get his mental game ready for the huge obstacle in front of him. The game was approaching quicker than DeSean expected it was the last meal he’d eat before the big game and what better than some chicken and pasta. He filled up on some food thanked and tipped the waiter and left to report back to the stadium.
DeSean sat there waited nervously and anxiously with the rest of his teammates. The team waited then 3 2 1 the clock went off and the team scurried out off the locker room and unto the field. DeSean and his team warmed up for the first the 30 minutes until; captains were picked and DeSean was one of them. He and his quarterback slowly walked up to greet the others. As they shook hands and took
It was the biggest game of the year, what every person wants to win, the championship. The score is tied 24-24 and the Idaho Hawks had the ball on twenty one yard line. It was third down and five and they ran the ball for only two yards and it was fourth down. They went for the field goal and got it. The score was 27-24 and the Texas Rams were ready to receive to it. On the return they ran for twenty yards. With only five seconds left the quarterback, John Halen, threw the ball to James Morgan. Morgan outran the cornerback and with no time left Morgan at the five yard line dropped the ball. The Hawks won, they were the champions.
It was so close we could almost taste it. The undefeated season, the holy grail of the NFL, seemed to be a sure thing. Here the Patriots were in Super Bowl 42. They had the chance to achieve a 19-0 season. Something no team had ever done before. I stood in my living room. Surrounded by friends and family watching the ongoing battle. I could feel the joy radiating from those around me. Victory was near. The Giants stood in their territory just a few downs from their ultimate demise. The Patriots defense had been stout the entire game, and so surely they would be able to hold the Giants now, when they needed to the most. Eli Manning took the snap, and the Patriots defense pounced. They had him by the jersey, all they needed was to finish the
“I know I let you guys down but we can still win this game”, I said as I broke the huddle. I snapped the ball and I whipped the ball to Steven in the back of the end zone. He rushed up to me and screamed,” That's how it’s done!” Throwing that ball just felt
Deja Vu I think to myself as I am waiting for the game to start. Except I knew this team was different, our whole team knew we were different. The second I stepped onto that field I was ready to battle. Every play we gave it everything we had. The defense was storming to the ball and the offense was firing on all cylinders. As I looked at that scoreboard I knew we were a different team; a very changed team. A team that was All In, and will always
We go out there and play the second half better than we did the first. The final score was 26-6 in favor of Clarksburg, so if you only counted the second half the game would have been 6-6. Ultimately the game, and the season as whole didn’t go the way that I would’ve liked as we finished with a 2-8 record, both of those wins came in after I returned in week six. It’s not about how we did as a team but what I could learn from the season as how to really work hard for others to get them in the right position and what it means to be a true
It was the 2016 Texas Football State Championship. The stadium was filled with 100,000 fans roaring like a lion. The Williamstown Blackhawks were going for their third State Championship in a row. They were blowing out their opponent. Williamstown has 3 5 star recruits and they are all juniors, which is amazing. One of them is the 5 star running back Christian Pierce, He has over 150 yards rushing with 2 TD’s. Another 5 star athlete they have is Quarterback Carter Brunson, and he has thrown for over 400 yards with 4 TD passes. Their defense is the best defence in the country for high school football. That is because of 5 star athlete defensive tackle Sloman Thomas, who already has a hat trick for sacks.
It was a cold fall day during football season, a saturday to be exact. J.T. woke up and was excited to play his first ever youth playoff football game. The loveland Tigers 3rd grade football team played the other 3rd grade team from Loveland, it was the Loveland showdown. J.T. ate two egg and 3 pieces bacon for breakfast every morning because he thought it was good luck. Since J.T.’s dad was the head coach of the football team they had to wake up early and go to the field so that they were the first ones there. J.T. helped his dad set up the field by putting up the pile-ons and goal post protectors, then they patiently waited for other players on the team to show up, so that they could begin warm-ups.
Marcus and his team are getting ready for their last few practices, they are playing in the national championship game against the Pittsburgh Yellow Jackets. The group of kids on that team have not lost a game ever since they started playing tackle football. “Their starting quarterback ( Shane Kelly ) is supposedly going the Alabama and they are the number one team in the country and I heard he's getting a full scholarship to start for them,” Chris said. “Also James Kelly has a little brother ( James kelly ) He’s a better athlete than his brother and I heard he’s getting offers from Alabama, Oregon, Michigan and Texas A&M, and he’s only a freshman!” Chris shouted.
With the opening my interception play had given my team a moral boost to a point I’ve never seen my teammates play before. The game was electrifying the parents and all enjoyed watching. You could tell from all the noise it was exciting to watch us play. I was proud of myself that day. To be the weakest link on the team to becoming a leader a positive influence, from that day forward I knew football was what I loved to do and play.
She surveyed her kingdom. A kingdom of concrete and grey, but as far as she was concerned it might as well have been made of gold. The shine of the windows towering up above were her diamonds, and the taxis driving by were her limousines. Her black raw denim jeans, fitted t-shirt, and sneakers were her ball gown and crystal shoes. She has a quality about her that anybody who crossed her path could see. Her blue eyes reflect the silver city and her smile could make you feel warm on even the coldest of New York winter mornings.
“I’ve almost breached their valve wall,” Killian’s fingers briefly stilled as she listened to the Eleven’s voice on the other end of the small device in her ear, before continuing their furious movements across the laptop. “I’m tracking her progress through the hospital.” She said in response to whatever had been said on the other end of the transmitter, adding in a clipped tone before Eleven could comment again. “She isn’t in any real danger at the moment, so stop interrupting and let me finish this.” Eleven of course knew that Killian was stretching the truth to suit her needs (in this instance getting her to stop with the inane question), but she also knew that if there was any real imminent danger Killian wouldn’t have started the hack
The score was 27-26, and the Red Hawks came out victorious. The team thanked both Nate and Colin for their efforts, but everyone knew that if Colin wouldn’t have sacked the quarterback the Red Hawks wouldn’t have won. Although the Raiders had a game of a lifetime, they still managed to come out on the bottom. Colin was remembered for this game for his lifetime, and will never be forgotten. Later that night, Butch went to the hospital and realized he had a broken ankle. Nate and Colin celebrated all night, and the team held on to this victory forever. This game will be celebrated for decades after, and all thanks to the hero of the game, number forty, Colin
Cynthia closed her eyes and took a deep breath before she entered the building of her new job. Today was the first day of her new found job. She was a bit nervous, and a little terrified just thinking about how her day was going to go.
Today was a busy day, all I could hear was the hurried footsteps of Sector T’s coordinators. It is the third batch today, and I already feel sick. Two weeks ago, I could hold on for five batches before I let like crying. .
“How many times do I have to tell you to let go of me?!” She screams sharply, tugging and pulling violently against the secured fist gripped around her delicate wrists that were leaving ugly, purple bruises and cuts on her colorless skin.
