TERRORIST ATTACK By: Gabriel Daniel
It was a dazzling sunny summer day in Washington D.C. Crowds were happily cheering as the parade went by, and Josh couldn’t wait till the best part … The president of the United states! 2 hours later the president came.
“ I can’t believe I get to see the president with my own eyes!” exclaimed Josh. But then he didn’t want to. As the glorious leader came by a fiery explosion came from a nearby trashcan.
“AHH!” shrieked Josh. As the people were screaming and running out of fear, strange men came out of nowhere with AK-47s in their hands, laughing maniacally as they mowed down the authorities with machine gun fire.
“I have to get out of here.” Josh whispered. 30 minutes later. As Josh was dashing through nearby warehouse he overheard speeding footsteps behind him and immediately he knew he was being chased by the vile terrorists.

They probably didn’t understand him because right after he Josh said that, they started shooting their AK-47’s. As Josh was trying to dodge machine gun fire he noticed In the middle of all the the chaos, a child about his age huddled behind some crates, completely defenseless. Josh knew he had to save him.
“I can’t leave him there or else he’ll die.” Josh thought. Finally he gathered his courage and ran over to save the boy, as he ran shrapnel and splinters flew everywhere and a piece of shrapnel grazed his leg, but he ignored the pain. As he landed next to the boy, he noticed the U.S special forces running into the warehouse to counterattack the
It was 115 degrees; the platoon was walking through the middle of the desert each of them with 40 pounds of gear on and an M16A2 rifle. It was summer time in the country of Afghanistan and the temperature was rising. At this point I asked myself what the hell I am doing here and why did I join the United States Army? Right when I was thinking that I felt a tug on my leg and there stood a young boy about 7 years old with only one arm, “Candy,Candy” he asked. Upon speaking with the local villagers we found out that his arm was taken from an improvised explosive device (IED) planted
“Wake up, Soldier!” shouted a man. The boy awoke with a start, knocking his drum over in the process. He noticed people bustling about all around him while they pulled on boots and helmets.
It was until an average Tuesday that I actually saw dates and arrangements of the first President to come to Kotzebue, Alaska. I was in the Music Room passing the time by fooling the teacher that I am his new student. The Bell rang at 2:30 p.m. and I had to meet with my boss for my new internship at 3:00 p.m. Which gave me plenty of time to fool the overwhelmed teacher. He was so enthusiastic and gay, he sang loud, and encouraged everyone to smile. I could not fathom why he was in such a good mood. He handed me a sheet of paper that was title “Presidential Ceremony Agenda”. It was an agenda that was for the class for the next week. I asked more about it and to my surprise the President of the United States of America was coming to Kotzebue.
An entire day went by after the events of encountering the Sangrine Syndicate. Isaac sat outside on the fire escape with Epsilon, both drinking canned soda and soaking up the sun’s rays. Even though they had known each other for a short time, they managed to get along extremely well. Inside, Gerard, Malessica and Claire moved around the kitchen preparing breakfast for everyone. Yuri sat down on the couch, reading one of the books from the table. Sabra laid down in bed, slowly opening her eyes, looking around the bedroom. She sat up in her bed, finding bandages wrapped around her arms and torso, grunting in pain. Placing her index and middle finger on her forehead, she exhaled sharply.
The United States Capitol was filled with millions of people gathered to watch the 58th orderly and peaceful transfer of power in our nation’s history from President Obama to his predecessor, Donald J. Trump. This transfer of power is called the presidential inauguration and is held every four years to mark the beginning of a new term for a president. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang, a prayer for the nation was recited, and President Donald Trump addressed the nation for the first time as their President of the United States of America.
The day of 9/11 began just like any other for Monica, a young mother and an ordinary American citizen. She got up and made her two young children and husband pancakes for breakfast. They ate and laughed. After breakfast, Monica sat her children down to watch cartoons while she and her husband worked out finances. She paid little attention to the T.V. Then, at 8:46 am, the day suddenly took a drastic turn for the worst. the T.V. screen no longer displayed happy little cartoon animals; it showed a massive skyscraper with smoke billowing up from it; the World Trade Center had been hit by a hijacked American plane.
The day started with a routine training run for Jack Chavez and his squad members, who were all members of the NYPD Emergency Service Unit’s Apprehension Tactical Team, which was an elite group of officers trained in hunting the most dangerous criminals in New York City. The run was nothing new to most of the men, and then had run about two-thirds of the course, when they were suddenly interrupted and ordered to exit the pit and make their way to a briefing room. Upon arrival, Chavez and the team were immediately briefed of a developing situation happening near lower Manhattan. Groups of reportedly home-grown terrorists, armed with automatic weapons, were threatening key targets throughout New York, mostly places with a large civilian presence such as
“So, they look in his backpack, and my son’s 5 years old; obviously there’s no bomb in my kid’s backpack. They called me at work and
The soldiers begin to understand that they are losing the war. They are running out of men and ammunition. Their planes are outnumbered five to one. One day during the summer, a shell strikes Stanislaus "Kat" Katczinsky. Paul tries to bandage his wounds, but Kat is bleeding profusely. Paul tells Kat he is lucky, for who knows how much longer the fighting will go on. They discuss what might happen next. Now that the rest of his friends are dead or gone, Paul knows that Kat is the only friend he has left. Kat might die or go to the hospital, then home. Paul contemplates shooting himself in the foot so that he can leave with
That day the President was riding in a convertible limousine without the bulletproof bubble that was usually provided. Instead of
With his inevitable death looming just minutes, probably even seconds away, he figured he may as well make the most of the time he had left. If he was going to die, he was at least going to take some of these freaks down with him. He thrust his hands into the vat of goop between his legs, and the targeting arrays came to life. The guns had barely finished their
Starting his withdrawal towards the chopper to start the engine, Jackson stopped to cover one member of the embassy staff who stepped into a hole and fell with gunfire spraying the ground around him. Without a second thought, Mikey sprinted from his cover position to protect the man before his friends could switch their fire over to cover him and he went down hard as a round tore through his midsection. After seeing his friend go down, Jackson became torn between going to his friend or saving the downed embassy employee, but as a patriot duty always came first. So, he ran towards the fallen state department official and bodily picked him up by the back of his shirt before shoving the man towards the waiting helicopter and covering his retreat.
As Karl and Hildy start to fall asleep the sound of gunfire erupts from above them.
“We have to get them out of there!” I heard voices yelling out in the distance, but was to lightheaded to know where they were coming from.
