Prologue
23 years ago Steve “Family Man”Adams wanted for matricide and patricide was caught and interrogated. When asked why he killed his family, he claims his child accomplice talked him into it and he was not completely to blame. When asked to describe the child he referred to the child’s different colored eyes and snow white hair.. The police commenced a search for the child but he was never found. A child that peculiar would certainly would have been found. The “Family Man” was sentenced to a lifetime in county prison.
“See ya coach!” Tyrone shouted as he left the weight room. Chris was waiting for him outside, “Alright what are we going as this year? Zombies, Vampires, Zombie Vampires?”. “What are you talking about?” said Tyrone. “Halloween’s tomorrow, we need to pick our costumes!” “Do we really need to wear matching costumes every year? Many detectives and investigators searched for any records and ran DNA analysis of the boy that could indicate who he was and where he came from. Christmas Day 1996, the body of young JonBenet Ramsey is found strangled and raped in her basement. The family of the girl has no idea what happened and they are distraught. Ten years pass before police find circumstantial evidence that a 41 year old school teacher named John Mark Karr could be involved in the murder. The police traced his internet activity and found emails about the murder to a professor at the University of Colorado. They also found child pornography on his computer. The police held him on the charge of child pronography when they began questioning him about Ramsey’s murder. Karr admitted to the murder of the child. There was no physical evidence linking the man to the murder and he provided only facts and elements of
14 year old Steven Truscott gave his classmate Lynne Harper a ride on his bicycle on June 9, 1959. Truscott had dropped her off before they parted ways. Lynne was reported missing later that night, and two days later, her body was found on a nearby farm. She was sexually assaulted and strangled to death. The community was horrified by what happened to this young girl and everyone was determined to find the killer. Immediately, investigators became fixated on Truscott as the prime suspect since he was the last person to see Lynne. Waylon and his older brother Jesse were spending another Halloween pounding the pavement. It was getting dark and cold. Mom and dad sat in the minivan across the street as the kids knocked on doors and did their best to scare the residents of Tucson. Waylon was dressed as SpongeBob, while his big brother had dressed up as a pirate. Of course Jesse was the best he told everyone so.
Three teens from Arkansas were brought in as suspects on a recent murder of three local children named, Chris Byers, Stevie Branch and Michael Moore. The teenagers who had been suspect were also locals, and one in particular had been profiled a number of times by the police for being odd. The teen, Damien Echols a high school dropout, had a record is psychiatric problems, with major depression. Echols was different than his fellow cohorts, he dressed primarily in black, had long dark hair, and to the police looked like a troublemaker. The troubled teen also was in a Wiccest, or male witches, group. He was said to partake in Wiccest ceremonies and other troubling events. The two other accused boys were Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley, who like Echols were simply different. Misskelley was seventeen years old with mild mental retardation, who reportedly had an IQ of just sixty eight. Misskelley was interrogated by the police for several hours straight and eventually being forced to admit to a crime that he nor his companions committed. Misskelley would have a separate trial than the other two teens and would be found guilty and sentenced to eighteen years of jail time. Echols and Baldwin would also be found guilty, Baldwin sentenced to the same amount of time as Misskelley, but Echols, unfortunately, was condemned to
A Caucasian Boy named Robert Dunbar Jr. was kidnapped on August 23, 1912, while he and his family vacationed at Swazye Lake. The big mystery that surrounds the case was approximately eight months later “Dunbar” was found in Foxworth, Mississippi with a male by the name of William Walters. Walters was arrested for kidnapping, and the Dunbars went to Mississippi to pick up the child. Shortly after regaining custody of the child Julia Anderson, a mother from North Carolina stated the child was her son, Bruce Anderson, which resembled the boy that was kidnapped. Anderson stated she let her son go on a trip with Walters and her son was never returned back. Both mothers claimed the child and the custody case was eventually brought to court where a judge later determined the boy was Robert Dunbar. Unfortunately since DNA Testing was not invented at that time the case is still considered a mystery, was the boy found Bruce Anderson or Robert Dunbar. The gruesome zombie apocalypse had broken out three days ago, and everyone was in full panic mode as we tried to figure out what to do next.
In 1987 in Texas, a prosecutor was faced with this dilemma. Michael Morton was convicted of murdering his wife based on circumstantial evidence. Morton’s defense attorney was never told about, or given access to, the police report in which Morton’s three year old son had told police that his daddy had not killed his mommy. After serving 25 years for murdering his wife, Morton was exonerated after attorneys were finally given access to the police report and DNA testing of a bloody bandana found at the scene of the murder matched a man who was serving a sentence for the murder of another woman.
Throughout modern horror classic vampires and zombies have taken center stage. Both vampires and zombies have always been prevalent in the horror genre. For years there have been arguments on which one is stronger and scarier. Most of the points made are based solely on opinion. However, if you look at the facts the answer is clearly that vampires are stronger.
It was a normal day at work for Bryan. Bryan is a 25 year old man and he is a mechanic. He has a co-worker named Frank and they are best friends. They both enjoy working as mechanics but they don't like their boss Bob. Bob is always calm but today he was asking both Bryan and Frank a bunch of weird questions about what was on the news that morning. He was also acting a little paranoid. They didn't watch the news that morning so they asked him what was on the news. Bob kept saying there was a disease going around and people all around the world weren't acting normal. Bryan didn't believe him because he thought it sounded crazy. They go back to work and Bob went on telling other workers about the disease even though none of them believed him.
