Quite we have made a decision. As the jury and the judge return for the decision should Pony Boy be placed in foster care or stay with his brothers. We came to the decision that Pony Boy should go to foster care. He should go to foster care because he is not living in a safe environment want be around gang activity, and his brothers let him smoke. Furthermore foster care could be a bad thing for Pony Boy because he could miss his brothers and try to run away. Although this may be true foster care is a better place for Pony Boy to go. Even though his brothers are taking good care of Pony Boy. Its just a few things that are negatives. For example his brothers let him smoke. Also he wants be out all night getting into gang related activity.
Did you know that in the system they like to provide a safe environment for children and teens. This proves that Ponyboy should go into the system because this is the safer for Ponyboy and he won’t be getting this while staying with Darry . This shows that Darry isn’t a good guardian for Ponyboy because Darry will cause him to do things that will get him into trouble for example him smoking,Darry making Ponyboy go to the rumbles with them, and him being involved with the Socs. This would be better off for Ponyboy because it’s safer for him. Darry believes that Ponyboy should stay with him because he shouldn’t be separated from his family. Ponyboy would be better off in the system because he wouldn’t be getting into any trouble. Another reason
Order in the court,It seems like we have some decisions to make If ponyboy should stay with his brothers or in foster care. I have decided that ponyboy should stay with his brothers he has no parents his brothers are taking care of him.Ponyboy should stay with his brothers they do things they need to do together their want to stay together they parents would be disappointed if they were alive and they were separated from each other although they were killed in a car crash.
Pony boy should stay with his family so he could be happier, and not leave his family. It would not be the same for any of them. I really think that pony boy should leave because he did not get into that much trouble, and really he was the good kid out of them all. There is a reason why he should go for foster care because. They do not have a stabled home, his brothers get into trouble, and I think that is a bad influence for him.
pony boy is to go to foster care right away and never to have contact with his brothers ever again. how ever if they some how manage to prove to me they can straight them selves out in the next two years pony will have special permission to go and see his brothers when ever he want but has to be back at his foster house within twenty four hours or the brothers will be sent to
Foster cares, such as the one Justin was in, receives grants from CAPTA. Since foster care is an organization funded by grants, it does not receive enough money for the children to have a childhood as other children do. There are children who are raised in foster care that grow up with negative attitudes and behaviors. They have not been adopted by a family and stay in the foster system until they are 18 years old and they can find a job and a place of their own when they are 18 years old. When a child in foster care turns 18, they age out of the foster system and they are not prepared to live on their own (Atkinson, 2008). Foster care facilities should be funded enough to help the children acquire a job so they can support themselves when they have to be
SEATTLE -- Statistics tell us that children in foster care and foster families are frequently identified as bigger troublemakers than kids who still live with their biological parents. Many wonder whether or not this is due to the lack of parental guidance in the early stages of foster care.
One reason Ponyboy should not be living with his brothers is that he was running away from the police, charged with murder. Ponyboy was with a friend in the park when he gets jumped by Socs, the group of rich kids. When he is getting drowned in a fountain his friend kills the Soc. He then goes on the run where he has to hide in an abandoned church for a long time. Children should not be running away from the police. If he had a responsible parent, was with adults that looked after him and didn't let him get into trouble, it wouldn't have happened.
Helping these vulnerable children access the services, interaction, and the stability needed for them to grow-up to being successful members of society can be provided with foster placement. If the process is well planned and if the foster parents are given adequate support, the foster care system can be a valuable resource for abused and neglected children (Crosson-Tower, 2014, p. 321).
Ponyboy will not go to foster care. He stays with his family, he need his family to support him, protect him from other gangs, and have better lives with people that knows him and loves him. Foster Homes is not a safe place . There are 45% white kids in foster homes . Foster home is not a fun place to be. Ponyboy needs Sodapop and Darry . Ponyboy doesn't need foster care. Pony Boy needs a stable environment . Even Though ponyboy brother Sodapop and Darry are young . Soda is 17 years old, he holds down a job. Pony boy loves soda a lot. Because he is like a dad to Pony . Darry on the other hand is more strict on Pony about grades, fights, and being home on time. For example Darry doesn't like pony boy skipping school, not doing homework, and begin late home.
Foster Care can be a confusing place and scary to some. It is unfortunate when situations must put a child through the system, sometimes due to families’ inability to care for them or other times due to abuse or neglect. Many have experienced some form of loss and trauma and so the process from beginning to end must be handle with care and compassion. When foster placement is called for it is both physically and mentally stressful for all parties involved, most especially to the child. All measures must be taken to ensure that their health, safety, and welfare are top priority when a placing them with foster families who can give them stability and love.
It is unfortunate that in our society some children grow up without the opportunity of having a loving family to raise them. More unimaginable is children growing up with parents or family members that are abusive. Children raised in abusive environments that are reported to social services and removed from their home are placed into foster care. Foster care is defined supervised care for delinquent or neglected children usually in an institution or substitute home set up by the government. Some advocates claim that the government child care system is adequate, but others like David Van Biema of Time Magazine state that, “foster care is intended to protect children from neglect and abuse at the hands of
Children are placed in foster care because of society's concern for their well-being. Any time spent by a child in temporary care should be therapeutic but is often harmful to the child's growth, development, and well-being. They could be beaten by their foster parents, which will cause move truma in their life. When children
In conclusion to this case, Pony Boy will stay with his brothers and not be put in a foster home. Jury do you accede? Why yes judge we do. You gave some substantial reasons about why he deserves not to be put in a foster home. Withal you backed your reasons up which transmuted all of our minds. Well thank you jury, case closed everyone may peregrinate
Ponyboy should be in the system. Don’t you think? This is proof that Ponyboy should be taken away from Darry and put in the system. He would be better off in the system. Darry has shown he’s not a responsible guardian because Ponyboy is not taken care of. In the book Ponyboy gets into trouble as he’s living with Darry that can get him killed. Something he does is he sneaks into a movie theater. Some people would say he’s better of with DArry, but he would be better off in the system. Ponyboy should be put in the system because he won’t go to jail or get diabetes.
Recently I read an article in the San Diego Union Tribune entitled "Setting Up Foster Kids for Success" by Assemblyman Brian Maienschein. The article focused on helping foster kids succeed. The article points to statistics that show around half of foster kids who stay in the system until they age out wind up in dire straights - homeless, in prison, or victimized in some way. Some even wind up dead.
