In American football the game is more like rugby, where the players hold the ball in their hands, and then run up the field, holding it tightly, to touch it down behind certain lines on the field to score points. They can also kick it through the goal posts, which are very high and H-shaped.

Soccer is my favorite sport. Soccer is a sport played between two teams of eleven players with a circle shaped ball. This game is played on a rectangle shaped field with a goal at each end. The object of the game is to score by using any part of the body (besides arms and hands) to get the soccer ball into the opposing goal. Football and soccer have never been really compared before, probably because alot of people think they dont have many similarities. But they actually have alot more in common that people think they do. Having played both sports myself i can tell you that they are very different in varius ways, but also very alike. It depends in what aspects you look at it that you can see differences or similarites. Off field soccer and football share different backgrounds. On field comparisons are never talked about but they actually have somre similarities. Yes football is more of a contact sport, and soccer more of a technique sport. But football does have technique as well, and soccer contact.
The most disputed issues that a soccer fan will differentiate between soccer and American football is that soccer is played mainly by kicking the ball and it is only allowed to the goalkeeper to use his hands or if the ball goes out of bounds and requires what is called a throw in. In contrary, American football is played by throwing the ball and is only kicked when a field goal is required or in their term return punts. In soccer, kicking the ball to the other team is rarely or better yet, done on purpose. On the other hand, in football, that player is removed and the game is continued in whatever direction it has gone before. The interesting part that also tells the difference between them is physical. It was a compulsory for American football to have big and powerful player rather than skillful, so they can tackle bigger opponents with roughness without getting so much damage. It goes completely opposite with soccer, the players in this sport industry are average with the standard of a normal person, but with the skill of handling the ball they can demonstrate cross-over to eliminate the

The rules of play for soccer have deliberately been kept simple. The referee makes most of the decisions, and attempts to encourage fair play. The game starts off with a kick off, and the teams are allowed to pass, dribble, juggle, head, kick, and shoot the ball to place it down the field, and (hopefully, or eventually) into their opponent’s goal. If the ball is kicked off the field over the length of the field, the other team is given a throw-in, where the ball is thrown over the player’s head, and back onto the field. If the ball is kicked over the goal, or across the width of the field, either a corner kick results (by the offensive team, where the ball is placed on the corner of the field and kicked into play) or the defensive team is awarded a goal kick, where the ball is placed on the corner of the goal box, and kicked back into play. If a goal is scored, the ball is taken back to the center of

Everyone has that one special thing. The thing that is comfortable and familiar. The thing that makes every problem, worry, and doubt go away. My thing is soccer. I cannot recall a time in my life where I didn’t have a ball at my feet. Soccer has been a major part of my life ever since I was born. From attending my first soccer game at the young age of one month, playing my first soccer game when I was two years old, and still playing to this day, it is safe to say that soccer has taken over my life.

The ball must be consistently be dribbling off your hand to the ground while moving at a fast or steady pace. In the other hand, Football requires a cone-shaped ball that must reach the opponent's other end of the field. There are two big Y shape at each field and at the end of the field will be a touchdown to score. Running will be the key to winning a football game while dodging other opponents. Football is a sport that evolved from many different games. Football is mainly known as a different form of rugby or soccer, but there is more to the origin of the game than just those two sports.
