Social Responsibility: A Greek Yogurt And The Odyssey

Satisfactory Essays

While visiting our local Kroger, I saw an Oikos Greek Yogurt, and I immediately thought of the relevance it had to The Odyssey. Oikos is a Greek term meaning the household or more specifically a well-ordered home which members all respect each other and work for a common good. Even though it is likely that they would choose a Greek word for a Greek yogurt product, I think it is a good choice because of the meaning behind the word Oikos. This might also have relevance to the company’s beliefs, thinking that a well-ordered company for the greater good of the consumers is a good idea. This lines up to why they are making a healthy product with all natural ingredients.

When walking to my car after school, I happened to see a Honda Odyssey.
