This is the reason why I want to be in this elite organization, it may guide me into achieving my goal in life, which is going to the University of Texas in Austin and receiving my bachelors in Dialysis nursing. After the induction ceremony, I came before my mom, both of us smiling. Words were not necessary for me to know that my mom was proud of me. Being in National Honor Society was something that did not just made my parents proud, but it made me proud of myself. The honor of being in the club is not the only reason why the club is so valuable for me. It is the experience that I get form interacting and working with students from other grade levels that really inspires me. The club meetings and activities allow me to meet amazing individuals that I might have never had the opportunity to meet. Being a part of National Honor Society means that I am held at a higher standard than most students. I am to uphold the four pillars of National Honor Society, which are service, scholarship, leadership, and character. All four aspects of NHS have been important in my life and have shaped me into who I am today. Being involved with and serving my community has given me a better understanding of the needs of a community. I have had the opportunities to help people, which brings me joy, and gives me a way to reach out to my surrounding area. Many only see the National Honor Society as an organization that will look excellent on college applications, and although that may be true, the National Honor Society is not an organization that can be taken so lightly. The National Honor Society is so much more than a scholarship-granting organization, the NHS is an organization that helps develop the requisite for render service and the development of leadership and character. The growth and success of the NHS relies on not only its members, but also those outside of the organization. Its members can only do so much on their own. Part of building character and leadership is to encourage and rely on others whom are capable of helping. The members of NHS shouldn’t let their pride and achievements

Being the Vice President of the National Honor Society (NHS), it was of paramount importance for me to present the benefits of not only being a member of the National Honor Society but to present all of the opportunities available from being a member as well. The National Honor Society is a nationally recognized,
The National Honor Society (NHS) is a longstanding nationwide organization that provides students, such as myself, an opportunity to be recognized for their outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service. The organization allows for students to excel outside of the classroom through many activities. It provides students, actively involved in the NHS, an opportunity to positively affect the lives of others through the various community service activities that are organized throughout the school year. The NHS will also function as an outlet to network with my fellow peers and teachers who are like-minded in the pursuit of success.
NHS serves those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. NHS is a great opportunity for students to serve the community. I have plans to improve MHS National Honor Society and make it even better. To make NHS better I would make sure that students get to know everyone and not just stay with their friends, I would make sure that the service projects are helpful to the community, and I would make sure that the activities interest the students into coming.
I looked forward to being a member of the NHS(National Honor Society). As a result, I worked my hardest to maintain my academic standards from throughout High School. It is not easy, because you need to sacrifice your time and effort. When I received the letter for eligibility of becoming National Honor Society, I was very excited.
I am honored to be among the many students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. I believe that this organization does amazing things not just for the students at Harrison Community Schools but for everyone in the community and the surrounding communities. I hope to be a part of furthering the impressions that this organization has set among the public. I strive to be apart of NHS and the positive changes they inflict on many lives because I have worked hard to get to this point. Leadership, Character and Service have brought me far in life therefore they are my strength to evolve into positive changes that better everyone.
1) As a Roncalli student, I have been able to participate in many memorable service activities both as an individual and in a large group. From freshman year, I have accumulated the most service during the summer time when I have had the opportunity to be involved coaching youth teams in different sports. This service is the most special to me because it is a way for me to volunteer in activities that I myself love and have a passion for. It has taught me a lot, and I think I have gotten as much out of it as the girls I coach have. Another notable service is the service I was able to participate in with my classmates as a volunteer at Journey Home. This service really opened my eyes to the issues people and families face here in Aberdeen. I was happy that I was able to experience and learn something new while helping a cause and helping people in my own community that I otherwise would have never known about. This year, I was also able to volunteer to be a group leader at a Roncalli Junior High Retreat. When I was younger I always knew it was something I wanted to experience and I loved being there. It was great to meet the younger kids and help them along throughout the day while they experienced a retreat for the first time. I hope to continue these service activities as I get older and move out of my time in high school wherever I end up.
The National Honors Society (NHS) is a group in which leadership, teamwork, and motivation skills are all developed, among a collection of other characteristics through various service projects. Granted these are the benefits listed on the website and not known to me through personal experience, I am certain that being apart of NHS would be beneficial to my life in preparing to enter the real, independent world and head off to college within the next few years. As a soft-spoken scholar, NHS would provide a way for me to familiarize myself in a collaborative and teamwork-filled setting that could better prepare me for jobs, as well as it would teach me to be a leader, and push me into the world to help and think about others rather than just
The National Honor Society is an organization that serves the community while building the character of the individuals who are members. The National Honor Society provides the opportunity for a member to serve their community, and earn experience that will influence the rest of their life. Individuals are not separate from their community, and the NHS will provide its members with the opportunities to enrich the community together. As an individual, my capacity to serve my community is limited by individual talents, but as a member of the NHS I will better be able to serve my community in a group of like-minded individuals with different talents and abilities. The NHS requires those with the ability to lead to unite individuals for the betterment
As NHS co-president, I would work with our class in setting a high standard for what it means to be in the National Honor Society. It's no secret we are the overachieving class, and by holding all future classes to the same standard we hold ourselves, we can create a prestigious atmosphere. I have held multiple similar and more demanding leadership roles through scouting. Therefore, I feel that I am very qualified to hold this role. With or without me as your co-president, let us be the class that puts the "honor" in "National Honor
Though doing so can be difficult due to the frequent migraines that I suffer from, I have been able to pass the majority of my classes with above an eighty. If I were to be accepted into the NHS then my participation in said club would help with college applications. Thus, aiding me with getting into better school. Leadership, the second of the four core values of NHS and meaning the state or position of being a leader. Putting someone in a leadership position allows others to see how well said person handles stress and how well they can problem solve.
My decision of joining the National Honor Society is based on my passion for volunteering and my desire to spread the positive qualities that the National Honor Society stands for: leadership, integrity, and scholarship. By joining this group, I wish to help my community by helping with NHS sponsored events and other local functions. Being in the National Honor Society impacts more than myself, it impacts the ones around me; I will use the skills that will be strengthened with this opportunity in my other current involvements to better the lives of people in my day to day life. It would be a true honor the become a member of this nationally accredited
