“Hill sees slow progress”
Section A6 Sunday, October 15, 2017 Amendment 1 is the freedom of speech. You can express your opinion, so people will be respected. It is in the Bill of Rights. This Amendment also protects freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom to petition and the right to assemble.
This article is about a woman who filed sexual harassment charges 26 years after the event. The Weinstein story is the most disturbing thing she experienced. That is what caused her to press charges. 30 women have emerged to tell of their disturbing experience with Weinstein. Weinstein has denied all of the things they said. Hill is currently 61 and a professor. She has been buoyed by the attention she received. This is bigger than anything in the past. She said there is a key problem that many women still did not come forward and share the truth, so many harassment cases are not reported.
This article relates to Amendment One because Amendment One is about freedom of speech. You can say anything, which in the article the victim discussed her experience of sexual harassment. Now more women have to come forward to put a stop to sexual harassment.

In other words, the first Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, the right to petition and the separation of church and state. It also
The First Amendment states that “everybody has freedom of speech, press, and religion.” The First Amendment allows us, as U.S. citizens to speak freely about our feelings throughout the government. The First Amendment could possibly be the most important in the whole Bill of Rights. This amendment affects us in our daily life, whether we're teenagers or adults
The first amendment states your basic liberties. It is one of the most important bills in the bill of rights. These basic liberties are freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and freedom to petition the government. This amendment also has a lot of historical significance and there are a lot of court cases today that involve this amendment. There are also quite a few current issues involving the first amendment.
Created September 25,1978 and ratified December 15, 179, the Bill of Rights was imputed into society as a tool to establish law, order, and morality. James Madison, a political theorist, was known as the father of the Bill of Rights. One of the most important amendments in the Bill of Rights is the right to freedom of speech, expression and media. In the Bill of Rights, the First Amendment states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” The First Amendment guarantees the citizens of America that they have the right to freely express themselves about anything, including political arguments and views. This amendment also guarantees the press/media the right to overtly publish their ideas on any topic in the newspaper. The purpose of this amendment is to assure America’s people that they shouldn’t worry about being censored or punished for the expression of their feelings because they are human just as everyone else.
The first amendment is the by far one of the most important amendments in the bill of rights, it grants citizens freedom of speech, press, assembly, and freedom of religion. Without these essential freedoms we would not be able to speak freely, worship freely, and we would not be able to critique our government or those in positions of power, etc. The first amendment states:
The first and the most significant of the amendments to our Constitution is the First Amendment. "The amendment that established our freedoms as citizens of our new confederation." The First Amendment insures freedom of speech and of the press.
A very popular constitutional issue in America is the First Amendment. The First Amendment is meant to protect, but in today’s society it is being questioned that the argument is being overly used. The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference (Esmaili). Freedom of religion created the separation of church and state. It prohibits the government from interfering with a person's practice of their religion. The right to freedom of speech allows individuals to express themselves without government interference or regulation. The right of freedom of expression gives the right to assemble and gather for peaceful and lawful purposes. It was adopted into the Bill of Rights in 1791. The Court later interpreted the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment as protecting the rights in the First Amendment from interference by state governments. Putting this is layman’s term, you can pretty much say what you want without being penalized.
The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is part of our countries Bill of Rights. The first amendment is perhaps the most important part of the U.S. Constitution because the amendment guarantees citizens freedom of religion, speech, writing and publishing, peaceful assembly, and the freedom to raise grievances with the Government. In addition, amendment requires that there be a separation maintained between church and state.
The first amendment formed our country and brought us together to be the free country we are. The first amendment talks about how we get the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, Freedom of press. Amendment 1 is the most important Amendment because it doesn’t allow Congress to make laws about respending religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, and abridging the freedom of speech or press.
The First Amendment is one of the most recognized rights in the Bill of Rights. It is a basic right that seems to help define each person as an individual yet as part of an association. The amendment states that
The First Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights is our rights as citizens living in the United States of America. In this paper I will look at three provisions to the First Amendment, highlighting one case for each provision. Included are one case to discuss freedom of speech, one case to discuss separation of church and state and one case to discuss freedom of association.
The 1st amendment is your freedom of speech, press, religion and so on and so forth. The propose for this is the ability to say, write, or believe in what you think is right. This lead to it ratification because it allow people to think what they think freely without being punished for it.
The First Amendment is the most important amendment out of the ten amendments in the Bill of Rights. The rights that are protected in the First Amendment are, the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and freedom to petition. By far, this amendment is the most important listed in the Bill of Rights. The First Amendment protects your freedom of religion, speech, of the press, assembly, and to petition.
The first amendment of the Bill of Rights allows citizens to speak and express their views without getting in trouble by the government who is elected. Since I live in America I never thought about other countries not being able to question the government for fear of getting into serious trouble or even fear of your life. But today we are protected and allowed to express that disagreement with anyone no matter who they are or what they do for a living. Remember back in time when royalty was ruled by most nations and the United States was ruled by Great Britain the colonists could not gather or even think about gathering to discuss or disagree with rules and laws forced upon them by the their ruler so with that being said they couldn't even
