SpongeBob is an uneducated and underpaid fry cook. His best friend is a mentally challenged pink starfish who doesn’t have a job and lives in a rock. His only other friends are a stingy crab (who is also his boss), a whale who is somehow the daughter of a crab, and a violent (and somewhat crazy) squirrel from Texas. Everyone else hates him because he is annoying and has destroyed many places, including the Krusty Krab and even the entire city of Bikini Bottom a few times. In fact, there’s a national No SpongeBob Day, and everyone celebrates it, including his best friend. However, he still stays happy and optimistic (most of the time). And if SpongeBob can do it, everyone else can. No matter what, every scenario has at least one positive part. …show more content…
We decided to go on an airboat tour because it was fun, and I didn’t want to do a walking tour for three hours. In case you didn’t know, an airboat is essentially an inflated life raft with a giant fan strapped on the back to propel it through the water. It can’t go under the water because it has to go through a swamp, and an underwater propeller would get caught on plants and get stuck. Our airboat was quite small and could only fit about ten people, but I also saw others that were huge and could hold about fifty people. The ride was exciting and fun, but a lot of somewhat unfortunate things happened. Firstly, I didn’t put my earplugs in because they were uncomfortable, so I may or may not have permanently damaged my ears. Also, an alligator tried to bite my hand when I tried to feed it. And a bird pooped right next to me. At the time, I thought these things were unlucky like most people would have. However, as time passed, I looked back at my experience and realized that I was looking at it from the wrong angle. In addition to all of the bad things, there were also so many positive things that occurred that day. For example, I got to hear the giant fan at full blast, which was fun because it sounded super cool. Also, I was able to pet a wild baby alligator, and I even got to hold a domesticated baby one in my arms. As SpongeBob once said, “You never know the true value of a moment until
The Blobfish’s scientific name Psychrolutes marcidus. The meaning of Psychrolutes marcidus is "A taxonomic species within the family of Psychrolutidae. The Psychrolutidae family of fish contains about 40 species consisting of bottom dwelling marine sculpins that include tadpoles with large heads and bodies that taper back into small flat tails. In general their fins are leaf like and lack scales.
Mr. Krabs is greedy (and should probably be on the show Extreme Cheapskates), Patrick is unintelligent (almost as dumb and useless as the rock he lives under), Spongebob is gullible, and Squidward is a misanthrope and extremely condescending, Plankton is envious, and Larry the Lobster is a self absorbed jock. The woman on the show are presented in a little bit better light, but still suffer from flaws. Miss Puff lets Spongebob constantly retake the boating examen when he should be failing, essentially allowing him to walk all over her. And Pearl, Mr. Krab’s daughter is extremely spoiled. The only character who is near flawless is Sandy Cheeks. She is independent, an innovative engineer, physically strong, and an extremely compassionate friend to Spongebob. This shows that women can be powerful in a society and is a good model for young developing girls. But, it brings a major issue in. Sandy is extremely accomplished, yet most of the time she is extremely lonely and extremely homesick. This serves as a direct parallel to how women in this day and age who become empowered can be subjected to loneliness and less
The Aztec people used a mechanism called a plumb bob in order to create or extend perfectly straight vertical lines for building, surveying land, and navigation. In its simplest terms, a plumb bob is a string pulled taut by a weight attached to the bottom of it. Early plumb bobs were weighed down with stone.
Watching “SpongeBob SquarePants” as a child made me realize that owning a vehicle is vital in order to get our desire destinations safely and punctual. There were numerous occasions where I found myself dependent on others. Though there are countless of bus stops I can use for transportation, I am not comfortable riding in one. Walking is another type transportation I took for school and work. However, a rainy day impedes a travel by foot. Additionally, riding my bicycle was another way I got around. My errands require extensive transportation on a daily basis. I did not want to be a burden any further. Luckily, I discovered Uber. I am pleased and relieved that I have discovered a reliable way to get to my destinations at a reasonable price.
Blues Clues, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Rick and Morty all share the same characteristic of being a cartoon. Nevertheless, the number of aggressions in the show all vary. Unsurprisingly,
I find that violence is a large part of our everyday lives. Through people constantly yelling at each other, or from watching television and movies. We are becoming less sensitive to this violence because it has become a norm for us. For this discussion post I decided to watch a SpongeBob episode because I was watching a few children today. The episode is called karate choppers, and it may be one of the most violent episodes of SpongeBob. This episode aired in 1999 and is one of the very first episodes. This episode features SpongeBob and Sandy “playing” karate but Mr. Krabs doesn’t want them to play anymore. This goes on for a majority of the episode. SpongeBob and Sandy are seen hitting each other multiple times throughout this episode and
As I woke up at 7am on what was supposed one of the best days of my life, I had not idea that as the day went on it would actually turn into a disaster.
If you were a fan of DC Nation, you'd be forgiven for still being a little mad about how that whole mess ended up. From putting Green Lantern and Young Justice on an unexpected hiatus to eventually cancelling the entire lineup altogether, Cartoon Network could have hardly handled these shows any worse. To make matters worse, no official reasons for cancellation were ever given.
Early in the morning, my mom, brother, sister, and I packed up our things from the hotel to leave. We put everything in our rental vehicle and then my mom went to the hotel office to check out. When she got back, she put the instructions to Keepers of the Wild (an animal sanctuary in Kingman Arizona) in her phone. Then we drove off from Las Vegas to the animal sanctuary. The ride took about four hours, but it felt somewhat longer.. When we arrived at the sanctuary, we were about forty minutes early, so we walked around for a little. We didn't want to walk around too much, because that would have defeated the purpose of the tour ride. When it was time, the tour guide came out and took us to a vehicle. No one was on the tour ride with
From a pineapple under the sea to the bright lights of the Broadway stage: Spongebob Squarepants is really going places.
What if a person could go swimming and be eco-friendly at the same time? With the creation of a new technology, Sponge Suit, which uses 3D printing and nano-scale clean-tech material, that question has an answer (Spongesuit). That answer is yes.
For years, I have spent my days watching this hilarious series. I watched SpongeBob irritate his next-door neighbor, go to work at the Krusty Krab and jelly fish with his best friend, Patrick Star. SpongeBob is my friend, my entertainer, and now my life coach. Now this may seem absurd because SpongeBob isn’t real, but if you think about it, this world would be a better place if he
Curious, loyal and joyous are the three traits that hit me when thinking of Spongebob Squarepants. Spongebob is a sponge who lives in a pinneaple at the bottom of the ocean in a city called Bikini Bottom, with his pet snail Gary.
Although Nickelodeon is mostly regarded as a sad, shambling mess nowadays, the network has really had some amazing shows over its 36-year history. Many of its original cartoons were so creative and out there, that they themselves were founding new cartoon stars, and had groundbreaking effects on western animation. For the longest time, Nickelodeon was the ruling king of animated entertainment, and it was no wonder. So in honor of this network’s golden age, I’ve taken the time to list my 3 favorite Nickelodeon shows of all time. To make this list, these shows still have to be enjoyable as an adult, and not just stand as a childhood favorite.
We are understanding and recognize working time in many areas of our life. Early this season we applied weed treatment and fertilizer on our yard. When you have a slow-moving drain, you pour in drain cleaner. Dinner requires us to prepare the dish and then use the oven or microwave to cook it. In many daily situations, we do not take the action and expect immediate results. We allow time for the results to take place.
