St.Michael the Archangel actually helps people so much even some people today. St.Michael helps people find the courage to face danger and carry on (St.Michael the archangel 12). St.Michael helps/affects people today because he has a prayer which helps and makes people feel stronger every time they pray it (Saint Michael Center 4). The Archangel St.Michael is the patron saint of the warrior, who catholics have designated as the protector of those who strive to preserve security, safety, and peace (St.Michael the archangel 1). Deep in the thick swamps and woods of Northern Gulf County, amidst the buzz and sting of mosquitoes, chirps of squirrels, and swirls of the Apalachicola, is a long-lost story. One hundred and eighty years ago the town of Iola sprang out of the cypress swamp of what is now north east Gulf County. That small community, was, and still is an enigma in the wilderness of territorial Florida and has all but faded from the memory of Gulf County and is nothing but a boat ramp now.
Saint Gabriel the Archangel is one of the three Archangels. We celebrate his feast day on September 29. Saint Gabriel is talked about in the Old and New Testaments. His name means “strength” or “man of God,” which is also another reason why I have chosen him. Saint Gabriel is a great

In our journey, one difficulty that we had experienced was the new sicknesses we were forced to endure. For one, on July 7th, near St. Michael’s Meadow (present day St. Joseph, Missouri), Clark wrote: “…one many was very sick, struck with the Sun.” This shows how while on our journey, we had faced multiple sickness that needed a large amount of attention to be cured. Another hardship that we had faced during the expedition was creating a shelter stable and secure enough to keep us safe during the night. When we first created this, we only had one branch stabilizing the top part of the shelter, causing the top part to collapse, therefore breaking the whole refuge. Moreover, when we finished reinforcing the structure, it was a struggle to cover
St. Augustine, located in present day Florida, was established as a Spanish colony in 1565 by Pedro Menendez de Aviles as a way to reclaim Spanish control of the land and push out the French presence. Known as the “oldest continuously occupied European community in what is now the mainland United States” (Chaney 1989), it was originally the site of a town occupied by Timucua Indians. St. Augustine had trying times in its establishment as it under attack by Natives and the lack of supplies needed to thrive in the new land. From the time of settlement in 1565 to 1763, St. Augustine was viewed by the Spanish government as just a garrison and as a result didn’t participate in much trade with islands in Caribbean thus making settlers rely on annual shipments of supplies that often were spoiled, late, or not enough (King 1984) Another important aspect of the history of St. Augustine is the role the settlement played as a safe haven for escaped slaves from English

I have to think that all to the teacher who helped shaped my life to become a young woman I am today. I am really going to miss my friends the most. We have gone thought a lot of times together good and bad. They have grown to be my brothers and sisters and I love them very much. They each have different personalities and that’s has to be the reason I love them. We all have each other’s back when someone needs help. I am going to miss them because I will be at whole different high school that nobody goes to so I have to make new friends but they will never
Do you ever think about who you would become in the future? What if I told you, you are a saint? You would probably be pretty shocked everything you have ever done in life leads up to that moment. Imagine that you may share characteristics with a saint someone who followed God and lived in his footsteps. All though if I tell you that and you really think about it you could share the seven virtues the Catholic Church speaks about, the four cardinal which are temperance, prudence, fortitude, and justice or even the three Theological Virtues which are faith, hope, and love (charity). There are also other traits that you could share that are one of faith, righteousness and morality.. I Jaslin Gomez share characteristics with St.Thomas More.
How special you are. We so love your enthusiasm and support you bring to World Day of Prayer and the Prayer Chaplains. This year you brought tea for our thirst and helping hands to prepare and make sure everything was put away after our wonderful potluck and time of fellowship. Thank you for being with us.
