There were a lot of changes in the custom designs, with the most notable being the stormtrooper look. The consistency throughout the Star Wars series is phenomenal keeping the trend of switching the names and uniforms of each faction. For example in movies 1,2,3 the now known Resistance were the Republic and in episodes 4,5,6 they were known as the Rebels. The design of the First Order felt very dark, with a lot of black suits and armor with each of their characters. There obvious tips of the hat to the series, including many deleted scenes characters that George Lucas edited out and of course the awesome droids. One of the most incredible thing I took note of is in episode 6 C-3PO arm was cut off and in this movie they sew him a random pink arm showing his hardship of having a missing …show more content…
The clashing sounds of lightsabers will forever be a part of history and immediately brings the thoughts of Star Wars. The voice acting was brilliant, giving each character a voice you can depict within seconds such as aliens from various planets and the voice the classic droid C3PO. The sound effects of each battle set standards for the movie industry, tuning the volumes to absolute perfection.
The legendary John Williams is back another round to compose the music of the Force Awakens. As the composer of the previous 6 Star Wars movies, he does not fail creating a masterpiece of work. The originally built music for our new main characters brings out their uniqueness to the universe. The extraordinary timing with the music really ties in the dramatic feelings of certain scenes. One of the most chilling moments is toward the end when Rey Picks a lightsaber to fight Kylo Ren and the Luke Skywalker theme song blast through the speaker, blasting the hairs on my skin to a 90-degree
There’s no doubt that Star Wars is one of the most impactful films of all time, having changed the movie-making game ever since it premiered in 1977. It quickly became a global phenomenon and has accumulated some of the most passionate fans in the universe. Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope is a great example to use in order to illustrate the properties discussed throughout the course. In this paper, I will analyze the entire movie. To begin, I will start by giving some basic information about the motion picture, such as the director and type of film. Next, I will provide a brief summary of the film.
Music is a powerful tool in our media to convey specific emotions from the audience. Television, film, news, sports, musicals and theatre are types of media using music to bring out our emotions. Music transports the audience into the world being watched. Movies use music to convey ideas and feelings to large audiences. Through music we feel and react to developments of the mood, landscape and tension in a part in the film. Can you imagine our favorite films without music? These films would not be as exciting without the orchestrated energy. The added music changes everything in the film, and a wonderful score can uplift a movie from decent to classic. The music from Star Wars: The Force Awakens composed by John Williams effectively creates a resounding atmosphere for the settings, helps communicate the story, and strikes an emotional cord to help the audience follow the film.
"Star Wars" was arguably the first in a new breed of high concept, high budget sci-fi action films. It was directed by George Lucas and originally released in only a few cinemas in 1977. However, the buzz around the film grew, and it is now one of the highest grossing films of all time, and along with its sequels, prequels and re-mastered re-releases, has a large cult following. I feel this is because of Lucas` ability to engage the audience through careful use of sound and camera technique;
The Force Awakens is the newest episode of Star Wars that has been released in theatres, and takes place many years after the fall of the Galactic Empire. The Resistance, the new Rebel Alliance, now faces a new threat, the First Order. In the hopes of defeating this threat, they look to Luke Skywalker, who’s whereabouts are unknown. Rey, the capable and independent protagonist, rescues a BB-8 unit and discovers it holds the missing piece of the map that leads to Luke. Together, along with Finn, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, they must find a way to deliver the piece of the map to The Resistance and stop the First Order’s plans of annihilation.
“Do or do not,” says Yoda, in the acclaimed science fiction movie Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, “there is no try” (Empire). This quote is perhaps the most famous of the character’s, and perhaps one of the most famous in the whole franchise. It highlights an idea that the scene perpetuates: the fact you intend to do something doesn’t matter, only whether or not it is done. This is not a perfect metaphor for the application of knowledge, but it fits in rather easily. Without an effect, an application, all you have is abstract knowledge – that trying that Yoda denies – and in that way value has been diminished. Two areas of knowledge which especially highlight the values and limitations of that claim are the natural sciences and religion.

In a galaxy far, far away is where my love resides. Your entertaining characters keep me engaged. The battles between your starships are exciting and keep me on the edge of my seat. The tension you exhibit between the factions makes me feel conflicted. I don’t know whether to root for the Light Side or the Dark Side. You keep my attention for hours on end.
The dramatic war-like classic of a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, it is Star Wars. It made a huge impact in the 70s for its THX digitally mastered sound, new visual effects, but most of all the marvelous theme, without which, Star Wars would not be half the film it is now. It took the science fiction genre to a whole new era. Therefore, Star Wars IV is the best science fiction movies of all times.
The lighting and sound effects, were something to write home about for sure, however, the first night they were slightly off in timing. Nothing major, just a phone ringing clearly to early, or lights going for a second too long. However, at other times they were absolutely perfect.
It is a long standing, recognized fact that the classic Star Wars films exhibited key archetypes in the human psyche. These included not only such universal themes as the male coming of age tale and feminism, but also somewhat more obscure examples. These included, but were not limited to, the Hero, the Anti Hero, the Mother, the Wise Old Man, the Devil, the Mentor, the Father, and others. These and others interact in a saga of events that leads the films' main characters to the 'spiritual' goal of self actualization. Though Star Wars will be the topic of this paper, it holds true that these themes are explored throughout pop culture, pointing to the idiotropic role of fiction in general. We play these stories out in our heads not simply for the flashes and bangs of entertainment value, but also, if only subconciously, to hold up a mirror our own souls and better understand the human condition.

With the right music, the battle scene can go from ok to very good and memorable. From this piece, you get the excitement from the chase or the back and forth battles going on. The main theme from Star Wars piece enhanced the foreshadowed fight scene if the theme song came at the opening of the movie because the music is
George Lucas' film Star Wars There are many different theories to Star Wars, which attracted millions of viewers. These theories made Star Wars what it was, and to some people still is. Made in1977, it was the first of it's kind by being new, using aliens and special effects, Star Wars created a large audience. Then it was re-released twenty years later, after improvement in special effects and another character was added.
The movie had a lot of special effects. In the beginning when the First Order invaded the village, there were a lot of laser sounds from their guns. The sounds were pretty incredible. When Kylo Ren, or the bad guy, had stopped Po’s shot, it sounded epic. The light sabers made a pretty cool sound too.
