Galesville- Ettrick-Trempealeau High School Throughout high school, I have immersed myself in diverse extracurricular activities along with rigorous academics. My commitment to excellence, as well as being motivated to work hard will continue to help me in college. My goal is to be successful in a career of Business Administration and also minor in sports marketing. As my senior year comes to a close, I would ideally like my hard work to pay off and be able to go to Viterbo College. This scholarship would help fulfill my goal of going to my dream school. Faith and Religion are important to me which the reason Viterbo would be a good fit for me. I believe my Faith has gotten me through some really tough times, and is one
I have a strong desire to become a Physical Therapist so that I can aid injured people and help them return to the activities they love. I have always treasured one on one interaction with people and love working with my hands. In my spare time I shadow the Physical Therapists at Campbell Clinic in order to learn more about my perspective career. The shadowing experience has been rewarding, and has reinforced my desire to become a Physical Therapist. If I am awarded the Abe Waldauer Scholarship I will be able to save money for Physical Therapy School. In addition to helping my mother at home, this semester I will be leading a weekly small group Bible study at the Baptist Colligate Ministry. This position on their leadership team involves weekly meetings with my small group, and bimonthly meetings with the Baptist Colligate Ministry’s leadership team. In addition to these responsibilities I teach Children’s Church at Covenant Baptist Church on the weekends. I am an active member of the Hellen Hardin Honors Program and have made straight A’s during my time at the University of
My scholarship can be seen through my grades at Wahconah. My grade point average has not dropped below a ninety-six in my freshman nor my sophomore year. I plan to keep this up heading into my junior year. With having these grades, I know that in the winter of my sophomore year, I was eleventh in my class. I know this because I had to send my transcript to a private school who was interested in me for lacrosse, and gained very much interest seeing my grades. I have kept my grades up while also maintaining a job at Kelly’s Package Store and playing lacrosse all year round. Therefore, my I excel academically at Wahconah and plan to do no different in the future.
I was always taught that I must work hard for everything I receive, I believe now is the time to show all I have worked for. At Gulf Coast I plan to obtain my Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. I am assiduous for this scholarship because during my years of high school I have worked hard not only in the classroom but at my job, sports, and clubs as well. Coming into high school as a Freshman I
This scholarship is very important to me in many ways. This scholarship will help me physically and emotionally if I receive money. For instance, it will make me stress less about how I am going to be able to pay for my tuition and fees and not have debt. Also, it will give me a way to purchase my books for the classes I will take.Since I will not receive financial aid I will have to apply for more scholarships. I plan to go to Northwest Shoals to be able to get my basics done and further my education and transfer to Wallace State to be able to become an Occupational Therapist it has always been a desire to work with many people and help someone out if they needed it. Some of my college goals is to be able to maintain a high GPA and do the
Scholarship and learning are things I strongly value in my day-to-day life. I have completed my freshman and sophomore years so far with an unweighted GPA of 3.94 and a weighted GPA of 5.57. I’ve challenged myself in various Honors and
I came to America from Pakistan two years ago. I am currently attending Broward College to get my associate degree. One of my most important goals is to get a master’s degree in aerospace engineering and become an engineer. To achieve this goal, I am very passionate. I have worked very hard to maintain good grades. I have joined clubs and faced many difficulties to be where I am. I am passionate about math and physics and due to that reason I want to attend a prestigious school for sciences and become an engineer. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to get the education; therefore, I am working hard to get scholarships.
As a child growing up in San Diego, my youth has been nothing short of any teenager’s wildest dreams of living near the beach, having bonfires, and surfing on the weekends. Although this lifestyle is desired by many, I’ve always wanted something more out of what I do with my time. I want to go to Spring Hill College to become a humble professional in an industry, serve the most people, and learn about the world around me. My life was struggling for direction until I became active in the sport of volleyball and my religion flourished in the Catholic Church. These structures consume the majority of my service as I feel everyone deserves these opportunities for happiness and acceptance.
I believe that I would be a very good candidate to receive a scholarship when attending Saginaw Valley State University. I work extremely hard in order to succeed in my classes. I like pushing myself to continue working hard in my classes in order to get the best grades that I am capable of. I have been a very successful student at Unionville-Sebewaing Area Highschool, and I plan on continuing my success through college. I have a good work ethic. I use my work ethic to do my work to the very best of my ability. I also work extremely hard in order to achieve my goals. My main goal is to be a successful student at Saginaw Valley State University. I want to work hard in order to have a successful and rewarding college career, and to also
Most people would have expected me to receive a full ride scholarship to a university. However, when, I was battling depression, low self-esteem, and could not imagine that life could get any better if I just had little hope and simply placed my name, GPA, and test scores on a scholarship form. I am in control of my life and blame no one that I did not believe in myself. Now I can no longer afford to have a negative mindset because my education is literally going to cost me. It was not my work ethic that failed me it was my belief system. Our actions come from our thoughts. Because you have taken action and donated towards my education I know that Valencia College and their community partners are genuinely thinking of ways to uplift others. Upon receiving my higher education and beginning a professional career as a Registered Dietitian I to will decide to help others pursue their education because you and others have been generous towards my
The intent of this scholarship is for financial need. Recently my step dad has change jobs which has cut his income significantly. This scholarship would really help paying for college, since I will also have 2 other siblings in college at the same time as me. I will be furthering my academic education at California Baptist University and will majoring in photography. Attending Cal Baptist will give me the best education as well as provide me with a Christian education. It is very important to me that I will have a Christian education and that I will be surrounded by a family like community. Some of my goals for the future are to become a photographer, learn to get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself, and get an internship over one
What this scholarship would provide for me is not just a viable boost in self-confidence and euphoric relief from the stress of student loans, but also an official change in direction. A change that will not only allow me to fulfill my desires of being different,
I am applying for this scholarship because growing up in a family of eight, money is not a bountiful source. Also I feel that I represent the mission of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. Epsilon Sigma Alpha’s mission is to connect with others and form friendships by engaging in service that will benefit communities. I believe I embody this because of my over five hundred hours of community service and my involvement with various community organizations. This is why I believe that I should be chosen for this scholarship, because of my relentless pursuit towards excellence in academics and my yearning to serve others in my community and the world. “Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?” I live by this quote said
Naim Michael Pope, this is the name I was given at birth, and I guarantee you haven’t met someone with my name before. I was born in Long Island, New York, where my parents, Angela and Gregory Pope, raised me for the first three years of my life. Growing up in a Christian household has helped me through adversity I faced through football, school and friendships/relationships. Throughout my life, finances have been the core of my family’s problems. My mom is the sole caretaker of my siblings and I, and she works very hard to take care of my two brothers and one sister. My parents have been divorced since last year July;this has made my senior year of high school much harder; financially speaking. This scholarship
We wanted to remind you tom come tomorrow (Friday) at Crystal River High School, at 1:30pm as Ethan Kennedy commits to attend Florida Institute of Technology as a Chemical Engineering major and swim for Florida Tech Panthers in the NCAA II. Being the oldest of four kids that have been raised in Catholic schools, I know how stressful finance is to go to a private school. Over the years, I've realized how grateful I am to be raised in these religious schools. Religion has always had a big impact on my life. I'm grateful to experience Montini's unique faculty, student body, and ambience. Leaving most of my friends when I graduated from St. Pius X School in 2013, I was devastated. I thought that it would be hard to make new friends. Montini has given me amazing opportunities to make new friends and make the most of my high school experience. Receiving this scholarship grant, makes a huge difference. Even though, it doesn't cover my whole tuition, it still makes a big contrast. It's
