Achievement isn’t an extraordinary term. It is possible with capability, motivation, aptitude and commitment.
My goal is to obtain Masters in chemical engineering. The bedrock for the education, I’m looking to shoulder is chemistry. I was initially introduced to chemistry in my secondary school. But what buttressed my concepts about chemistry was my learning in junior college. This further propelled to pursue my bachelors in chemical engineering from Mahatma Gandhi Missions college of engineering and technology, Kamothe, Navi Mumbai (Affiliated to University of Mumbai). Now that my technical undergraduate program is completed, I find myself drawn to pursue a masters in chemical engineering before continuing my career in this chemical industry.
I have tackled major subjects like engineering thermodynamics, process engineering, transport phenomenon, modeling and simulation, fluid flow and engineering economics which will surely play a imperative role in my further studies. My particular areas of interests comprise numerical methods & simulations in chemical engineering, process engineering .

Out of all of the skin care products in the world, your bathroom cabinet needs to be filled with products researched and designed by me. When I entered high school, I discovered my passion for selecting lip sticks, lip glosses, lotions, perfumes, and makeup foundations. You name it. After learning about the connections between the information in my chemistry class and these items, a light bulb went off! I maintained an A average in chemistry throughout the whole year! Additionally, in 2014, I became a student in the Academy of Engineering and Technology, which also heightened my interests in chemistry. In a science fair at that academy, there was a chemistry course where we made colorful slime, and during that process, I learned that I get an adrenaline rush when I am mixing different chemicals together to see what the outcome is. Majoring in chemistry at Norfolk State University will definitely prepare me for a very successful future in chemistry! My ultimate goal is to conduct research and development for chemical cosmetics. I plan to obtain employment at the greatest companies in the world such as L'Oréal and Avon.
I am very much interested in the field of engineering and hope to pursue a career in engineering sometime in the future. Although I haven’t decided which branch of engineering I want to pursue yet, my experiences as an engineering magnet student at Wheaton High school and the different engineering programs I am a part of have ignited within me a passion for engineering.
Until about 2 years ago I was not quite sure what path I would choose for my future career, let alone what path I would choose when I arrived at college. I tended to be adept at subjects such as science and mathematics throughout my high school life, however I was never particularly fond of any one subject in particular. However, that changed my senior year of high school when I enrolled in AP Chemistry. I was intrigued by chemistry when I attended the pre-AP Chemistry course, however I was not particularly interested at that moment. However, AP Chemistry came with a plethora of hands-on experiments and procedures that existed to illustrate basic concepts of chemistry. When I decided to become an engineer, I thought hard on what that entailed. I saw myself working on hands on projects with a skill and proficiency that I could truly be proud of. That's why after listening to the presentation for Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology in my freshman year here at Texas A&M I knew that this major was the best fit for me. The mentioning of learning how to manufacture and produce things from conception to finished product was very exciting to me. I also appreciate that the education is very application oriented rather than just teaching theoretical content. I feel that this directly prepares one for a future career in industry and this sense of job security is what really attracted me to this engineering

If interested in engineering, it is important that you take these high school courses: Biology, Calculus, Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, and Geometry. Chemical engineers make around $58,830 a year to $154,840 a year. As a chemical engineer, you can work in multiple industries: Design and Construction, Electronics, Energy and fuels. Setting up a career plan with TAMU may entitle you to a good job in the future. For example, a job at Hershey. This Career path is great for making money and is not hard on you in college. In America, we are short thousands of engineers. This means that you will have a great acceptance rate at careers in engineering in the future.
After taking AP Chemistry, I knew that I wanted to study chemistry in college. I also have been a very inquisitive person my whole life, wondering why things are and how things worked. My inquisitive nature and love of chemistry is why chemical engineering appeals to me. I am drawn to Biomedical engineering due to its application of both chemistry and biology to solve medical problems. Doing a complete 360, I am interested in art history, because not only do I find art fascinating, but I also find it mesmerizing how artists visually represent and were inspired by the world around them.
I graduated in applied chemistry science, which gave me a strong fundamental to my analytic skills and excellent overview of industrial business. The specific core courses throughout this program allowed me to explore not only scientific techniques, but also business management subjects, which have sparked my interest of marketing during my undergraduate time.
In the fall of 2017, I plan on attending Rutgers University-New Brunswick major in chemistry. After receiving my bachelors degree I intend on pursuing graduate school to major in a unique aspect of chemistry, known as cosmetic science. I wish to specialize my studies in product formulation and manufacturing. I hope to earn an internship at a hair product company that will eventually lead to a career as a formulator. My overall goal is to develop my own line of professional, cruelty free haircare products.
