Dreams are shaped by ideals and families shape the beliefs we grasp so strongly. Someday I want to change lives through an engineering career. My family has taught me that change can be positive and that change is the law of life. I hope to improve my life as well as the lives of others around me by creating something wonderful.

First of all, dreams can motivate and help egg oneself on, helping give them have purpose and fulfillment in life. Many great, well-known, famous people are successful because they chased and worked hard to reach their goals. “If you can dream it, you can do it” is what Walt Disney said.

It is good to have dreams and aspirations because its sets you a goal in life and makes you stand out from the rest, because it’s like having your own purpose. Without dreams, people wouldn’t try to be or even to do anything. People would also have a miserable as well as pointless life with no passion.

In Life there are roads and there are choices. The right or left turn you make along the winding path throughout your life is and should be the one that makes you happy. Furthering your education may be your best and only way to make that right decision. At the present moment I am now currently attending Valencia Community College working towards my Associate Degree in Computer Science. My current major is Computer Science, although Computer Engineering with a focus in Software is what I will most likely pursue as my Bachelor of Arts (BA). I believe that we all have a dream and everyone’s dream is different, dreams change with the time just like we do, we had a different dream when we were kids and we have other dreams when we grow up, but there’s only few people who actually have the same dream since childhood. Having the dream it’s easy, following it, it’s really hard! There 's always a lot of obstacles that make people quit from their dream, or in simple way they don 't have enough courage to continue. A very few of them who decide to continue no matter what, they usually get what they want!

Dreams are defined as an aspirational, goal or aim, and a goal is an achievement toward which effort is directed or aimed. Life is the test that comes with its ups and downs; it is testing whether you are driven and dedicated enough to continue and prosper. Without goals and dreams you have nothing to look forward to in life; you will be living without a purpose. Thus, dreams and goals get you through life; without them why live?

It is essential to set down a goal and take the road of reaching it. With every path that is ventured, there are always obstacles that block the way of achieving a desire; though no obstacle is necessarily impossible to overcome, therefore giving a purpose to keep going on. As a child, I've had many dreams and goals in my life. I do understand that the average person can't have exactly what we want in life, but anyone can aspire for a wonderful future. Man, has forever tried to push the limits of his capabilities through technology and innovation. It is this struggle that has brought us to this era where a technological revolution continuously tries to reduce the struggles and complexity is his life or the life of other men. In many ways, I too have benefitted from the labors of other man. But now wish to play my part in the above transformation. Even though my work may be inconsequential in nature if it can help at least one other person other than myself I would be immensely delighted. To achieve the above objective I, choose Computer Science as my major as an undergraduate student at Florida Institute of Technology. Throughout my career as an undergraduate student I too have continuously challenged what I could do in my field and now. And now as I have ended my undergraduate studies, it is my central goal to continue my education in a more challenging and competitive environment. It is to serve the above purpose that I wish to apply to the Computer Science department at prestigious university to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science.

Since the dawn of humanity, humans have constantly innovated to survive and improve the quality of life. From simple beginnings as hunters and gatherers in small tribes, humans have expanded across the entire globe to form a highly complex,intertwined society. The primary factor that pushed the advancement of humanity was science and technology. Science and technology continue to push humanity forward today as new technologies are researched and released daily. To continue the progression of humanity, I will major in computer science so I can aid in developing the technologies of tomorrow.

There are countless reasons why technology is a key aspect of learning in the schools. Whether we like it or not, technology is everywhere and in order for us to survive in post-secondary education and the business world, we must know technology which drives me to understand the complexity hidden behind it and learn more and more which takes me a step closer to the audacity drawn on the verge of innovation.

I believe that the 21st century belongs to people with the ability to dream far beyond the existing reality and having the potential to realize those dreams. Behind every great invention there is bold dream equipped with curiosity and hard work.
