Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Inc., was widely recognized as the pioneer of personal computer technology, and for his advancements in the consumer electronics fields. However, years before he became well-known, it was the free enterprise system that allowed him to start his own business. The free enterprise helped Steve Jobs create a powerful and influential tech company.

Steve jobs once said, “if today were the last day of your life, would you want to do what you 're about to do now? Steve Jobs today would be worth about $31.6 billion. He was a very smart person, becoming a very successful man. Jobs was born on February 24, 1955. His parents Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali, gave him up for adoption. Steve Jobs 's father was very hard on him, saying he did everything wrong. This probably led to him being a perfectionist. He went to school at Homestead high school in California. When it came time to go to college, he went for one semesters at Reed College in Portland, Oregon , and dropped out. After college, Jobs met Chrisann Brennan. They ended up having a child together, Lisa, but Steve Jobs claimed she wasn’t his.Jobs experimented with different pursuits, before starting Apple. Later, Steve jobs became the Co-founder of Apple computers. Steve Jobs was the co-founder of Apple, and was a leader for new technology; his legacy was leading the innovation of the computer and other technologies, which are user friendly and market leaders.

Steve Jobs was like the Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell and the Albert Einstein of our time.  He not only innovated personal computing, but personal media and communication, iTunes which became one of the most popular music and video retailers and Pixar which was one of his side projects had become one of the greatest animation digital movie creators and software. But all that is a just part of the list of his legacy, because in the end he still left behind Apple which is world’s most valuable company, which is valued at $350 Billion Dollars.

Steve Jobs as young man, was adopted and found his interest in technology with his father. Nonetheless, with his profound interest in technology he eventually met his future business partner, Steve Wozniak and created the first apple computer in his very own garage. In a free enterprise system, Steve Jobs was given the ability to be able to conduct his own technological advances and co-found a multi-billionaire business.

Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco on February 24, 1955. In 1976 Steve Jobs and his close friend Wozniak started Apple Computer. Steve Jobs began in his family garage, but to fund their small business “Jobs sold his Volkswagen bus and Wozniak selling his beloved scientific calculator”(Biography.com). Jobs and Wozniak were committed to revolutionize the computer industry for the better. The first Apple computers were marketed for $666.66 each, earning their corporation around $774,000. After the release of the Apple I the second model was an even bigger success. The second model increased the company 's “sales by 700 percent to $139 million”(Biography.com). All of the interesting work and his life was written in a biography called Steve Jobs: The Man Who Thought Different by Karen Blumenthal. Blumenthal included everything about Jobs from birth to death in this book. The title of the book came from Apple advertisements that said “Think Different.” The main character of the book was obviously Steve Jobs. Jobs was the co-founder of Apple Inc., NeXT, and Pixar and he was able to do all that because he was the man who thought different. Steven Jobs was an entrepreneur who wanted to bring power to the people. He had many experiences to motivate his creativity and drive to create a better place. He grew up experiencing different places and life altering changes that helped him find a purpose in life, and this was to revolutionize the world through technology. Steven Jobs travelled to a few different states in the US allowing him to meet different people. Some of these connections lasted a lifetime and had a lot to offer. These connections were relationships, friends, loved ones, and business partners that helped him achieve his goal. Steve also travelled to India and studied abroad for his spirituality; looking for a purpose. There is no reason to doubt that Steve found his purpose in life. When Jobs came back to the United States, he created Apple and it developed into a tool to realize his dreams. Steve Jobs went through many ups and downs throughout his career, but he never stopped giving to the world.

Steve Jobs was a genius that revolutionized the face of technology multiple times. Recently I have been looking at his life to answer this question, was his life a happy one? In order to answer that, I read two of his obituaries and Solon’s theory from The History of Herodotus.

Jobs’ personal life is outlined by his major conflicts such as the birth of his illegitimate child and being removed as CEO of Apple. The story is told through the eyes of Steve Jobs. The film Jobs inaccurately portrays Jobs’ work and life by leaving out important details, in order to avoid controversy.

Jobs has a lot of things that people know him as. But Isaacson said, “The leader Isaacson portrays could have illustrated the Great Man theory popular in the mid-19th century, with its heroic leaders whose decisions and sheer force of will determined the world’s course. Steve Jobs was certainly a willful and driven leader, and the products and services he directed his companies to develop and
