Steve Jobs was like the Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell and the Albert Einstein of our time.  He not only innovated personal computing, but personal media and communication, iTunes which became one of the most popular music and video retailers and Pixar which was one of his side projects had become one of the greatest animation digital movie creators and software. But all that is a just part of the list of his legacy, because in the end he still left behind Apple which is world’s most valuable company, which is valued at $350 Billion Dollars.

Without Jobs, Apple was falling apart. In 1996, Apple agrees to buy NeXT for more than $400 million. Apple didn’t buy just NeXT, but they also bought Steve Jobs back. Jobs became the chief executive and Apple’s a multi-billion dollar company thanks to products like the iMac and iPods. Jobs said, “Getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Blumenthal says, “ In an almost unbelievable way, the dots had connected again. Jobs had been thrown out of Apple, started a company that struggled, and then sold that company to Apple, his first love, where he was now in charge. Apple Inc. started off as a small computer company and rose to prominence over the following years. They faced great challenges and obstacles to evolve and become one of the top notch corporations today. Having a great CEO, Steve Jobs, is credited for the success of Apple. Under the leadership of Steve Jobs, Apple was able to innovate industry changing technology.

Having good leadership methods in place at an organization is vital in bringing success to a company. Steve Jobs is highly stimulated and has a strong idea of what he wants for Apple to achieve in upcoming periods. He is a transformational leader, and this, “ represents the most popular current view of leadership. This leader is characterised by a capacity to create a highly motivating and absorbing vision of the future, and has the capability to energise others to pursue the vision. “ ( Claremont McKenna College Journal ). Jobs has put in a huge effort to create a strong framework of control and direction, for example, “ Since returning to Apple, Steve has put as much energy into creating a strong management structure as he has into the products. “ ( www.ft.com ). This is highly effective leadership, trying to improve the design of the organisation in order to achieve more efficiency.

Good and bad business leaders exist all over the world. There are many characteristics that qualify a person as a good leader. For example, leaders must know how to communicate well with their employees as well as be able to motivate workers to do their best at all times. Additional characteristics include earning their money honestly, carrying the company as far as they can, and putting the needs of the business before anything else. Business leaders that lack most of these characteristics and let their businesses suffer during their time of leadership often do not succeed. Entrepreneurs don't have it easy. Most of them are turned down multiple times, give up after receiving rejection so many times or just don't have enough self belief. However, A successful Entrepreneur focuses on improving his skills, focuses on one thing at a time, aren't intimidated by people smarter than them but they hire those people and vision the future. Bill Gates, a successful entrepreneur, actually the most successful entrepreneur on earth, has had all of those qualities since he was very young. As of 2017, he has a net worth of 87 billion dollars and co-founded Microsoft. Growing up he’s had a successors mind-set. I believe that Bill Gates does face scarcity, and he most likely does face choices too. He is like any other person in the world and is faced with whether to do this or that, or get this or that. I think that there may be some things that are just not attainable to him, because he desires something else as well, so therefore a choice has to be made. I believe that opportunity cost plays a role in his life as well, because although he has money, he is a person that has to make a decision. As for everyone facing scarcity, I believe we all do, it is just a thing of life that sometimes it is not feasible to get something due to lack of resources and so on. I do not believe that there are any exceptions because there is just not enough resources

Bill Gates, One of the richest person’s alive today, has suffered hardships that not many know about. He has dealt with rejection from his parents, gotten in trouble in school, failed in some of his company projects and experienced what it feels losing someone dear. Bill Gates is an amazing person, full of wonder and intelligence that he has gotten over the years. As the creator of one of the most popular computer systems, commonly known as Windows, he has grown in wealth which he uses to help people in need with his foundation.

William Gates III is a clever, outstanding, influential leader who has not only left his mark on the world, but he also changed the world as we know it for the better and in so doing, changed the lives of everyone. Gates also alter the way we see things in life. Mr. Wozniak had an odd childhood growing up as the son of an engineer at Lockheed Martin. Being around mechanics and engineers all the time it’s no wonder he’s amazing at creating complex inventions. Steve Wozniak was born San Jose CA, on August 11, 1950. Son of Margaret Elaine and Jacob Francis Wozniak, Steve adored engineering from a very young age. He also has a mixed ancestry of Polish, German, Irish, and English background. All though he never was a ‘star student’ Steve had a knack for mechanics.

Coach Courtney told his players “You don’t measure someone by how they win, but how they handle their losses.” In my opinion, this statement is 100% true. You must fail before you succeed. Many great people: Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin, and so many others have failed at doing something important in their lives, but that didn’t stop them from being successful and chasing their dreams. Bill Gates is now a multimillionaire, Steve Jobs is the founder of one of the largest and well-known companies in the world, and Benjamin Franklin is studied all over the United States for his wonderful accomplishments throughout history.
