I believe that Bill Gates does face scarcity, and he most likely does face choices too. He is like any other person in the world and is faced with whether to do this or that, or get this or that. I think that there may be some things that are just not attainable to him, because he desires something else as well, so therefore a choice has to be made. I believe that opportunity cost plays a role in his life as well, because although he has money, he is a person that has to make a decision. As for everyone facing scarcity, I believe we all do, it is just a thing of life that sometimes it is not feasible to get something due to lack of resources and so on. Coach Courtney told his players “You don’t measure someone by how they win, but how they handle their losses.” In my opinion, this statement is 100% true. You must fail before you succeed. Many great people: Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin, and so many others have failed at doing something important in their lives, but that didn’t stop them from being successful and chasing their dreams. Bill Gates is now a multimillionaire, Steve Jobs is the founder of one of the largest and well-known companies in the world, and Benjamin Franklin is studied all over the United States for his wonderful accomplishments throughout history.
