Success : The True Significance Of Success

The definition of success is in the eye of the beholder. More than three-fourths of your life is spent working to become successful. People are told during childhood to work as hard as they can so they can grow up and make lots of money. But the word success can be taken in many different ways. Everyone has a different understanding of what success means to them. Generally, success means fulfilling the goals that you set for yourself. For some, success is measured by popularity and riches; for others success is determined by the amount of happiness that they feel.

What is success? Is success something that you can eat? Is it a physical object you can touch or a psychological feeling in the mind? Success is characterized differently by various people. For some people it means wealth. Others it means happiness. To me, success means making sure my family is living a healthy happy life. It means making valuable life decisions and having a feeling of belonging. Success is not only about helping yourself reach full potential. It is about bringing others along and giving them the opportunity to excel together in life.

“Success” is a term that is a part of our daily life. It can be defined in a variety of ways, such as achievements, awards, and college degrees. Some will even deem success as having a family, having a well-paying job, or even feel that living an uncomplicated life of contentment. But in the world that we live in today, there is not a set definition of success to go by. Only you as a person can give the meaning of success.

Webster defines success as “achieving wealth, respect, or fame.” However, my definition of success revolves around much more. Personal success, in my opinion, is achieved by the amount of happiness experienced by others around you. Being the good in an otherwise bad day, bringing a smile to a depressed face, or encouraging someone around you to try something new are all ways I feel triumphant.

To be successful means to achieve your own desired accomplishments, which is known to be easier said then done. Some of my desired accomplishments that I want to achieve in life is to "make my mark on earth" ,become a legend and an example to others, I want goals on my list to be crossed off, want to over come any adversities that come my way.

In my eyes, success can have a variety of different meanings. I believe success comes within a person and their dreams. It doesn't have to mean you're the richest person or have the biggest house. I believe in a more humbling success. In other words, success displays one who has reached his own personal goals and is happy and content with the outcome of the chosen goals.

Merriam-Webster defines success as the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame; the correct or desired result of an attempt; someone or something that is successful; a person or thing that succeeds. The definition of success differs from one person to another. Most people work their whole lives to accomplish their own personal success, in which, everyone views differently. Success among many individuals can be connected with The American Dream, the idea that every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through work, determination, and initiative.

For some people, success is simply living well. For others, it is as simple as achieving a goal they have set for themselves. To me, success is a combination of both achieving goals and living a fulfilling life. Financial success allows for careless actions. Social success brings about happiness.

The definition of success is "the accomplishment of an aim of purpose" which can make the outlook on this word different for every individual. Success is expressed in many different ways, but society tells us throughout our childhood that to be considered successful we need to grow up and make lots of money or own the nicest things. This may not always be the case and different people with unlike images of success will argue that. Success is achieving desired goals for oneself or gaining lifetime comfort.

What is success? Is it the process of doing a task and receiving a positive result acceptable amongst the community, or is it simply achieving ones own personal goals? Success to me can mean many things. Although I am successful in school, that does not necessarily mean I will lead a successful life.

Success can be defined as the accomplishment of one’s goals. A large portion of one’s life is spent working to become successful. For some, success is measured by wealth or the happiness one feels when thinking of there achievements. To succeed in life, people must endure the challenges life present and aspire to overcome the challenges in everyday life. Different people may have different interpretations of what success is but, success is much greater than the amount of money you have or the amount of friends you have, it is the result of diligence and determination.

What does it mean to be successful? Many account successfulness as the amount of accomplishments they have completed, while others account successfulness as personal gain or personal accomplishment. For instance, one person may not have completely accomplish a report, goal, or anything in general, but he/she will argue that they maintained a successful progression, and wherever they ended is still successful. Also, there are people who like to generalize the idea of success, and don’t accommodate the broader idea of success. For instance, they can make arguments that it doesn’t matter what you do or don’t do, they still consider living, breathing, thinking, and other small details as success. Then, there are people who believe that success

What is success? I know this is a question that we have been asked so many times in our life and we get sick of hearing it. But think about it one more time. What is success? Is it becoming as rich and successful as Oprah? Maybe it is just becoming financially independent. Or is it spending time with your family? The only thing is for certain is that their is no wrong answer. There are as many definitions of success as their are people on this planet. One thing is for sure though their are three things that most definitions have in common. The first is the most common in order to be successful you have to be satisfied. Second one must overcome all of the obstacles in their path. The final thing that most definitions of success have in common is that one is in charge of their own life. These three things

What is success? Success is achieving your goals in life. It means you know that you made it. To keep going and never stop trying. People who are a success never stop trying, even now they keep trying, athletes, business people, anyone. We all want to be a success. But if you just give up, you can never be one.

Success has a different meaning for each person. According to Oxford dictionary success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. My definition for success is to get to your goal and having the feeling of pride because of all the hard work you put into.
