Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment, from the Maximum Ride series, was written by James Patterson and published in the US on April 11, 2005. This story is a rare combination of science fiction and fantasy. The story revolves around flock, or Maximum and the others who the Angel Experiment was conducted upon, trying to save Angel who has been kidnapped and find the institute.
The angel experiment begins at the house on top of the hill where Jeb and the flock lived to stay safe and hidden. Later on, the Erasers tracked down the house and destroyed. The Erasers were a type of human-lupine mixtures of the seventeenth generation that were made by the School. They served as watchmen over alternate investigations and chased down any who got away. After that, the flock mostly stayed

He chooses a common morale, “Courage can overcome anything,” and made an adventure packed story out of it. My favorite character is mainly Max and Iggy. This is because they set a good example, particularly Iggy, who shows that impaired individuals are able to do more than you might suspect. Iggy is visually impaired, which blocks him from doing many things, but he overcame that. He broke down boundaries and does what he wants. He is strong and wiser than many in the group. Like Iggy, Max is an example to allot of people. One case she demonstrates that young ladies can do whatever they need. Even though she is a young lady, she is the group leader. She additionally demonstrates the qualities of never surrendering. By watching their activities closely readers can learn numerous lessons. I would recommend this book because it is full of adventure and does not bore you easily. Many times the book continuously surprises and relieves you. He book is also humorous but if I would recommend it, it would be for outgoing people. The Angel Experiment is the most intriguing book I’ve read, combining science-fiction and
A reason this book is appealing because of its settings there are about 5 or 7 main characters .I really like the boy darrell the most because in the first chapter. It began in philly and he had a friend named malik but one day he had to move to california with his mom. His uncle offered her an opportunity
1. Sheff intrigued me with his story just by the back of the book. The entire story is about his eldest son, Nic, who is an amazing student as a child; however, his childhood begins to fade when he gets into the life of drugs and alcohol. The experiences and hardships that the author goes through is very emotional which really kept me reading.
Overall, the book is really good and sticks to those three main ideas of courage, weakness and truth throughout it. As both a reader and a writer (I write my own little novels) this book is really goods and i would recommend it to anyone who asks
I would deeply recommend this book. It makes you understand why that characters in the book do what they do, what they are thinking, and what they are feeling. It makes you feel like you are having an interview with him. It also shows how smart they are. This is an amazing book,i think everyone should read this book. And we can share the story of Naoki Higashida, along
The separate sub-plots are interwoven in such a way it keeps you turning pages, not just out of interest, but because you are still trying to make out how one thing links to the next. Most of the characters were perfect. Perfect because they were flawed - which made them seem so real that you could almost relate to them as one of your friends. Though it may seem a little cliché, I particularly enjoyed Alex.
The Angel Experiment is Book 1 in the “Maximum Ride” series an is also the first book of the fugitives trilogy. This book is set in the near future and centers around “The Flock” a group of human hybrids, 98% human 2% bird, and they’re on the run from the scientist that created them.
The characters seem like they would exist out of the book and be real people in the outside world. One of my favorite characters is Patrick. Although he does tend to seem only to care about himself or his situation he is still a very lovable character. He later on in the book near the end, takes to spending more time with Charlie after the bad breakup with Brad, who is the football player in the closet gay, and he always starts off as euphoric before breaking down and turns to drugs and drinking to numb the pain he feels. Sam is also a very excellent character as she is a very honest one a bit troubled and has a bad past but understands Charlie pretty well and tries to help him several times. All of the characters remind me of different people you’d have with a group of
The main character is a middle aged man that goes by the name Qwilleran who was a local columnist. Everyone seemed to enjoy his presence and often went to him for a friendly chat and even for some advice. In the novel, he’s referred to as Qwill, he owned two Siamese cats named Koko and Yum Yum. Koko was a unique cat that had a rare talent of knowing when danger was approaching. Koko was definitely my favourite character because of his abilities and psychic powers. To me, he was the most interesting part of this novel and the main reason why I liked it. The cat is what got my attention and also what got me to keep on turning the pages. He definitely symbolized a sense of foreshadow because of the signs he showed before the reader found something out. Then, there’s Yum Yum who was simply just the adorable, cute and loving one. Yum Yum doesn’t have any extraordinary abilities in the novel, so she doesn’t play a role in solving the mysteries. I found that Yum Yum was pretty useless, since she was sort of just there. Lastly, there’s the unusual and young man Harvey Ledfeild, who’s an architect. He was very suspicious in Koko’s eyes. While reading the novel I felt that anyone who was suspicious in Koko’s eyes was suspicious in my eyes too. Lastly Clarissa, described as a pretty journalist that also claims to be Harvey’s fiancé but is really just flaking, because of that I thought she was annoying and an attention seeker so I really didn’t like her place in this novel. She was like Yum Yum to me;
I really like the book because every charecter is different , not every charecter is the same . I also like the book because the charecters were interesting and i liked
The main character/author Moody is very tenacious and able to get what she wants. This part of her character I loved, how she decided that she would just travel to NOLA for the last few summers of high school looking for a job without knowing what job she would get and really how she would survive there. And how she decided she would leave home and would not take no for an answer, even to go as far to get the town sheriff to enforce her desires. Especially how she handled Mrs. Burke, making her deal with how she liked to do things without being scared that she was an African American woman working for a white woman. Also,
As I began to read the first chapter I was caught with a romantic and amusing character, named Jimmy cross.He was a lieutenant serving in the army but his heart was serving his crush, Martha. Everyday when Jimmy isn't fighting to live he's either thinking about Martha or unwrapping letters from a plastic bag that were sent to him by his star-crossed lover, Martha.I also found Jimmy to be amusing/hilarious, as I figure out what he want to do with his crush as the writing was very descriptive from the author and charchter.One part I found realy funny was when Jimmy attempted to make a move on Martha by tring to touch her from under the skirt which failed miserbly.I was laughing so hard when I read this part,beacuse thats really emabrring plus
I think this book is pretty interesting because of the pressure it puts on the protagonist and how he deals with it. I read that the genre of this book was Young Adult Fiction, and I identified even in the very first pages. I found myself relating to the way he approached things, worrying about what the people would think of him. For example, on page 70 Cameron thinks, “ Cameron felt himself go cold inside. Stupid, stupid-to be caught up so easily.” He thought about what the Lacey’s thought after his actions. The book was great and easy to comprehend, I even found myself stuck reading for hours. The pages kept continuing, and with each turn of the page, the suspense builds up. The events that led to the climax was confusing, yet full of action
Angel Lucifer is patient and kind for the first few days then starts to become rebellious. God can
I liked David Almond's choice of characters. Skellig is a character that is not often found in children's literature, he is gentle, yet spooky and human/non-human. Michael the main character grows into a stronger person by the end of the story, we watch him grow. I liked Mina as she is a strong minded character who has certain beliefs which are explored in the story.
I love this book because it is the opposite of the world that we all live in. we can not get over our differences to look beyond in this life, in the book the people can not get over their sameness to look beyond. When it comes to world problems we always imagine a community like in the book where people live under control with no abnormalities, where people have no special purpose on earth. But we read that way is not a solution either. I would recommend this book to my friends in order to discuss a healthy idea of balance. The perfect community is not where all people are the same, it is where we learn how to listen to our instincts and cherish all the
