The American Dream: Becoming Or Being An American

What is the American Dream? The American Dream is the concept of being able to live freely and make money the way they want to instead of the way their “ruler” wants them to. People are given the right to achieve prosperity through their own hard work and determination.

First, let's define "American Dream". "American Dream" is what you would consider a "perfect life." It can be full of happiness, money, love, food, cars, whatever you desire, everyone has a different opinion. One person’s American Dream may be totally different from someone else’s, that is what makes us all individuals. My American Dream would include a good job and lots of money, spare time for my family and I, and most importantly, healthiness.

America provides the american dream to everyone because everyone is equal and has the same opportunity and it’s a matter of how hard one works to achieve the american dream.

The American dream to me is a place where everyone has a chance to succeed. Where everyone can live in happiness. The dream is that everyone is happy, safe, and that everyone can make a decent living!

The term “American Dream” is defined as an idea which believes that all people have the possibility of prosperity and success. The idea first came from James Adams, a noted American writer and historian. He claimed, “Life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability and achievement.” Therefore, the core concepts of the American Dream were closely linked to hard work and opportunity.

The American dream is the idea held by many in the United States of America that through hard work, courage and determination one can achieve prosperity.

The American dream is the freedom to do whatever you want. It's the freedom to have the job that you want, and the freedom to express your opinions. The American dream is also happiness. It's through the American dream that we achieve this happiness.

In my opinion “the American dream” is just an international, economic belief of what the perfect life looks like that many seem to think can only be achieved here, in America. People say in America, there are countless opportunities because there is so much freedom. The barometer that measures the American dream is “success” and “happiness” and how much of this are you willing to accomplish for yourself. Since success and happiness can mean different things to different people, our ideas of what the ideal life looks like never really seems to match that of someone else’s. What one may think of as the perfect life may not appear so perfect to another. Some people chase joy and happiness while others chase money and success. Which, at times, can be influenced by those closest to us, like family and friends.

The American Dream is a dream to live in a place where someone’s rights and freedoms can not be taken away from them and where they can achieve their goals without anyone stopping them no matter what their background is. People achieved the American dream through motivation and hard work. Although as time passed, they became too lazy to actually work for it. Somewhere along the way, people began to interpret the American dream as a dream to live in wealth. Because of this, it has made them think that happiness is defined by how much money they have. They also started to find ways to get rich quick without working for it. Many people question whether or not the American dream is attainable or too far fetched. The American

The American Dream is having total freedom and rights as a human being. It is getting to a checkpoint in life where everyday you feel rich with happiness, and to feel safe and secure with what somebody has. My mother, for instance, has reached her goal of the American Dream. She has a job working with people who make her days brighter, a boss who is fair and kind, three children who have carried on her legacy, and a happy household that is always filled with laughter and love.
