In investigation 1, the data points are very clustered from the height of 150cm to the height of 300cm. This makes sense as saplings are defined as young trees that are taller than 1.35m above the forest floor. So between 150cm and 300cm is most likely average height which would be the majority of the population. The overall data set of investigation 1 is alot more spread out than the compact data set of investigation 2. On the other hand, in investigation 2 all the data points are overlapping and in line with the regression line, up to a height of 600cm where there is few data points, indicating that the majority of saplings taken in this sample are young and planted for regeneration of the forest purposes.
In both cases there is a positive relationship between the two sets of variables. In investigation one, as H of a sapling increases, the DBH tends to increase. This would make sense because as the sapling grows up, it subsequently grows in diameter because it manufactures new cells around its circumference which increase the diameter at breast height in order to maintain and support the weight of the growing height. On the graph there appears to be some unusal feature’s where the height of the Sapling is approx 450cm however the DBH of just below 10cm is alot lower than the other saplings of the sample population that have a height of 450cm. It is possible that some sapling trees, like this one, are alot thinner and taller. This could be caused by a mutation. However
In Allen Johnson’s “The Forest, The Trees, and The One Thing”, he expresses that in order to understand sociology we need to be able to understand the relationship between biography and history. To explain this, Johnson uses five rules to sociology called the sociological imagination. These rules explain how an individual relates to social systems.

The Red Tree is another outstanding book by Australian illustrator and author Shaun Tan. The book published by Hachette Australia in 2001 leads us on one girl’s journey through a dark and confusing path of depression. Although each page contains a few words it is the images that capture the reader’s attention with new objects, images and meanings discovered each time the book is reopened.
Although the forest represent darkness and fear for most puritans, for Hester the forest represents solace and peace. When in the forest Hester is able to be free from the prejudice surround her and her daughter. The town’s people do not dare enter the forest, for they believe it to be evil, but Hester enjoys her time alone where she can find solace with Pearl. The “mystery of the primeval forest (Hawthorne, 16)” represents a sort of paradox within Hester’s life. Hester is meant to feel shame for the rest of her time being in Boston, but the forest serves a location in which she is able to feel free from pain and humiliation.
Critics have continuously characterized Peter Taylor’s work, as a social critique of the South and how it shows “the effects of cultural inheritance on its people” (Bryant 66). In his story, “The Old Forest,” Taylor examines the regional history and social structures that shaped his own past and how breaking the architecture that has existed for generations is not easily accomplished. Although it takes place in 1937, with progressive girls and college students filling the city of Memphis with intellectualism and open sexuality, the social constructions of the past, most specifically the descendents of plantation owners and rich socialites, are not easily forgotten. Lines have been drawn between those
(3)Major errors that could occurred during this investigation was that groups were not able to give out a confidence measurement as in a total that nine group might have performed this observation by using their particular way, which means the data collection might be uncertain due to the groups perform the experiment differently. On top of it, it is important that whether the performed group used a ground as a reference point for recording the height of stem from the plant, which would lead to the failed of the hypothesis and draw an incorrect result at the end of this observation. Suggestion that could avoid this error occur is to give specific way

Plumwood and Bradbury antagonized their main characters by putting them in dangerous settings. Not only were the settings similar in the idea that they were dangerous, but how they were made similar were similar. Both authors incorporated predators within their settings which is what made them dangerous. Along with setting, the conflicts were also similar. The conflicts being the characters lacked the ability to follow directions. On the other hand the characters final outcome were quite different. For the fact being that one character lost his life, and the other just attacked by the predator.
Spirit of the Rainforest is a book written by Mark Andrew Ritchie about the Yanomamö people of the Amazon. However, the story is told from the perspective of “Jungleman” a shaman of the people. Jungleman is a powerful shaman who knows the realities of both the spirit world and the physical world. His narrative helps the reader understand how important the spirit world is for the Yanomamö people. Through his storytelling, he highlights the role of shamans in the culture, customs of his people, and how those customs were affected when the nabas came.
The introduction to my poem is a scene of two kids playing in the woods. It’s meant to illustrate their unadulterated friendship, and introduce the forest as a place of comfort due to childhood memories. After they say goodbye, I decided to make the scene reveal to be a flashback because I wanted it to be a sharp change to a changed and nostalgic present. Also, portraying the opening scene as a flashback provides an exposition of both the characters’ relationship, and of the forest, which serves a great purpose in the narrative, providing a place of comfort for the characters. I portrayed the introduction as a flashback primarily through the first stanza in the boy’s point of view, specifically the word “reverie” showing how it was a daydream, and “fond” portraying how he felt very warmly about the memory.
Sociology is the study of how people relate to one another and how systems influence them, The Forest and the Trees by Alan G. Johnson is a book describing how sociology works and how it influences an individual. Johnson goes through many different concepts to try and explain how sociologists view problems and situations. He uses socialization, roles, statuses, family structure, culture, Above all, Johnson’s main focus is how systems influence people and how people, in return, influence systems. Therefore, the main focus of this paper is relating people and systems by using the movie Far Away From Heaven to solidify Johnson’s concepts.
This lab is designed to help student observe the forest community. After this lab, student will be able to distinguish the ecological concept that determine the distribution of population size. The main objectives of this lab were to figure out the density of tree species in the forest community, explain the significance of each species, interpret the concept of species diversity or similarity, contrast between the canopy and understudy forest structure, explain the affect of abiotic and biotic conditions on forest community. We have used the point quarter method to collect our data. We have predicted that there was a significant difference in the abiotic condition between the slope site and the lower site. We concluded that abiotic condition can affect the growth of a population by influencing an organisms to grow and
