In the weeks he was attending the precinct, he took pride in the knowledge that he was never actually late (first day notwithstanding). However, now that he was more than 2 hours late, he idly wondered if it was pointless to even show up at all. Walking the few blocks from the coffee shop to the precinct (he thought he could bribe the detective with coffee), he marveled at the fact that he could actually go a precinct. Regardless of the reasons that brought him there, he liked it, and he really wanted more than the weeks he had to serve doing paperwork (however, if he could do it sans the paperwork, that would be even better). Feeling like a million dollars when Mike didn't ask him to grab a 'visitor' credential, just a barely there nod …show more content…
"Yes. But I'm too tired to fish for information. Between the last touches of the book launch and Alexis I'm drained" He said, heaving a sigh. "How's Alexis?" The detective asked and he couldn't help but smile. "She's fine. I was actually talking to my mother, and she told me that Alexis talked about you" "She did?" The detective asked surprised. When she remember the not so comfortable conversations with her, she tried to ignore the warmth she felt in her cheeks. "What did she.. uhm say exactly?" "I don't know, apparently she was given the idea that we were dating or something. Weird, huh." He said. "As if" She scoffed, never looking away from the the papers in front of her. "Hey! I would be a delight to date!" "I'm not even going to follow that line of conversation" "Anyway, where are Espo and Ryan?" He asked changing the subject. "They're probably procrastinating somewhere" They fell into a comfortable silence while they worked. Rick tried to advance as many files as he could, maybe he could have some spare time to talk with the boys or with detective Beckett about the case they had just closed. After the finishing the third file, the boys arrived to the bullpen with someone else beside them. He looked up and noted that it was the same reporter that had interviewed him early in the morning. "Hey Castle. Apparently you forgot something home" Ryan said. "Or should we say someone" Espo added
Socrates was a great thinker and debater dedicated to truth. He spent his golden years walking the streets of Athens in pursuit of wisdom. Socrates lived the destiny that was revealed to him in the Oracle. He created and perfected his own cross-examination technique; we today know it as the Socratic Method. He was thorough and unrelenting. His subjects were often humiliated. Socrates would methodically disprove anyone he thought was wrong. In his eyes, most of the people he interviewed were blind. It did not matter if one was wealthy and influential or if they were young and impressionable. Socrates could question anyone and turn him or her inside out. Unfortunately, he did so without regard to the
“So how did you and Ban know all of that stuff back there?” Sierra asked.
“Police?” her mother asks with a worried look on her face. “You're not in trouble, are you?”
He smiled at the man behind Ally. “Wassim tells me you heard her confess to killing him.”
“I am not too sure,” she said quietly. “I have not been able to examine her or speak to her about that.”
"Just so you know," he said, standing behind her now because she had already passed him. She stopped walking to hear what he had to say. "I'm not surprised. Also, I was never dating Donna. That's not how I knew her."
Echo slid into her room and locked the door. “How could she say that?” Echo asked herself, facing the door.
The muscles in her face stiffened. When she spoke, she’d lost the lift in her voice. “No one is following me.”
“I can only hope. But I’m not through with her. I’m going to find out as much as possible about this relationship.”
“Well,” she began “Debra told me that she slept with Shanon while you guys were dating.”
“So how did you get caught if you could hear the cops coming from a mile away?” Criss grins and glares at her, he is trying to break her down
“But, where did they come from?" she asked. He glanced at her, smiled, but did not answer her question
“Oh?” He asked curiously. “I thought some of her abrasiveness had worn on. I suppose it was wrong. Although,” he paused for a moment, pushing off the railing to stand in front of me.
“That too! I’m just curious because last I had heard he was going to propose to her, maybe that’s why they aren’t together. Maybe he was moving too fast for her liking.”
“A terrible tragedy has occurred… We aren’t sure if it was an accident though,” said the detective mysteriously.
