The Beach
There is a quote, saying “Looking at beauty in the world, is the first step of purifying the mind.” Many people have a special place, where they go to escape from all the pressures and concerns of their life. One that can make us relaxing and peaceful free from all our troubles and problems. There is one place I feel comfortable. It is the place where I sit and watch the deep blue water dancing under the sunshine, listening to its movement. Being in the place, I feel like I am in my own little world and all my obligations are gone. It is where I worry about nothing but just being in that place. It is the beach.
It is summer again. The pitiless, scorching sun is pouring its rays down the city as if it~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~.

The morning sunlight is streaming from the blue flawless sky that has no single cloud, warming up the golden grains. The ocean sparkles as if diamonds are floating on the surface and moves in a way that .

I laid my beach towel and bag on the carpets of sand. Then, without hesitation, I ran as fast as my feet lightly carried me towards the water until I reached the depth where my arms are not exposed to the fire rays. Back on the land. I strolled along the shoreline, watching the turquoise waves gently swept over multicolored pebbles. A few miles northeast of Bath ME, down the stretch of route 1, to the right, you come to a dusty road covered in rocks and leaves. The rocky dirt road comes to a stop were a small, rough path takes you through the peach colored brush to a hot sandy beach. The beach glimmers in the sunshine turning the grainy sand into a golden blanket. The beach winds around westward clifts for four miles. Towards the east, segmented by a river emptying its contents, the beach gradually plunges down into the chilly Atlantic ocean, where rushing water from the river clashes with the salt water. The waves roll and crash on in like the sound of African drums, on rhythm that never stops. On the horizon where the water meets with the sky an island sits with a lighthouse perched on the land looking out for dangers that lurk. The sky continues on to the animated clouds, carrying one's eyes up to the heavens.
Standing up on the sand, I felt the rays embrace in my skin. Walking out to the water I recieved cold chills of the wet sand between my toes, As I walking I spotted a little crab burrowing in the wet sand, trying to hide before it turned into a lunch predator. As I brought myself to knee deep in the water there were waves of soft currents that splashed upon my face. It felt refreshing to my skin like a glass of iced water on a hot day. An abundance colored, and variously sized fish swarm around my feet. Their bodies brushed against my leg with inattentiveness to get to one place to another. I could help to wonder what their rush could be. In a blink of eye, Crash! A monster wave hits me and pushes me all the way the shore. Taking a seat back down on the uneven dry sand, I ran my hands through the smooth surface. I laid back and let myself absorb the blistering rays on the sun upon my skin. As my feet soaked down into the moist sand, I realized the most beautiful place on earth would have to be the
By identifying the sediment size at each station allows the amount of long shore drift happening at each stage of the beach to be assessed and evaluated. If the size of the rocks decrease in size closer to the harbour arm, it will help prove my hypothesis
It was surely a proud day when your child went off to college. One can only imagine the concern and disappointment you felt when you discovered they were dealing with an addiction. Many people will immediately point to and place the blame on the party environment typically found on college campuses. The reality is your child may be dealing with some deep-rooted personal problems that often leads to excessive drinking and using. At this point, you might be coming to the realization that alcohol rehab in Florida is something you need to start considering.
One of my favorite movies would be Teen Beach 2 by Robert Horn. I like this movie because it shows that no matter who you are you can do anything. Also, I like that there is friends that people can look up to who won’t bring them down. Then, I like the little things of romance in the movie. What makes this movie better than other movies is in my opinion the music and the dances that make the movie interesting and you can sing along with the people singing. All good movies to me have music in them with dancing and they have a little bit of romance in them to. That’s what makes them a good quality movie to me.
It is a lovely day out, the bright sun shining down, the smell of beautiful flowers, the
Quiet. All you can hear is the light wind and the waves crashing as they kiss the shore line. Blue. The ocean so blue, with just a hint of green, rushing towards me as the tide comes in. With sand in between my toes as I walk the shoreline, I see children skipping rocks and looking for crabs under the seaweed. I look to my right and see a small pile of boulders made into a circle form with a round opening about eight inches deep. Black coals and burnt up drywood. Thin branches from trees that were used as sticks to cook our hot dogs lie around the circle made of boulders. My family has had fires at this same fire pit every Saturday night of each summer for as long as I can remember. My sandy shore now has a few more rocks
One looks out across a secluded section of the Hudson River. It is late afternoon, and the sun is beginning its decent. The sun is almost blinding; its rays glistening and reflecting upon the river turning its blues to greens. The sky is clear with the exception of a few scattered clouds which begin to absorb
I stretched my arms out and looked up and down the beach. Although I lived in Waikiki for years, it'd been far too long since I took a vacation, let alone the beach, since I'm dealing with neverending piles of school assignments and activities. As I strolled along the coastline I can feel the soft smooth sand beneath my feet. I was taken in by the soothing atmosphere that encircled me. I closed my eyes, letting myself absorb the blistering rays of the sun on a scorching summer day. The beach was oddly quiet for this time of that year, only a handful of people sunbathing. I didn't mind, I was going to enjoy myself.
This photograph was taken on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2015. It was taken during sunset and as the tide had gone out, revealing a wider coastline. The world-famous beach is manmade and since 1951, over 80,000 cubic meters of sand has been imported to replace sand lost through erosion from heavy rainfall, sea swells, wind and tropical storms.
I walked along the beach. As I was walking I could feel the fresh smell of the beach like it was an air freshener but it also smelled that gave me a tingle in my nose. As I kept walking along the beach I could feel the light breeze coming against me. This fresh air felt warm as I felt like I was sleeping in a comfortable bed. I kept walking in the beach, as I did it felt like an escape to all my problems and also my stress. Beach felt like a solution to all my problems and could be open with anything.
The place where I feel most comfortable is a place where I am calm. A place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from all my troubles. It is the one place where I could sit forever, and never get tired of just staring into the deepest blue I have ever seen. It is the place where I can sit and think the best. A place where nothing matters but what is in that little moment. The one place capable of sending my senses into an overload. This place is the ocean.
The warm breeze of the ocean air flies past my face. The heat of the yellow sun was sizzling, beating down against my skin, tanning and burning it within seconds. Beach goers were crowded around in all directions. Seagulls gliding past the groups of people, scouting for dropped or forgotten food to eat. Their little footprints marking a trail in the sand all over the place, going in a million different directions, searching for their next meal. I take in the exquisiteness of it all, the blue-green waves crashing into the sandy shore, making white foam and bubbles wash into the sea, little boys and girls that are digging in the bright white sand running away from the small waves before they get wet. The beach is a stunning place to be; there's just something about the ocean waves and the sand between my toes that makes me just want to stay there forever.
There are some travelers who see a “paradise” as their final destination; however, it may end up to be exactly opposite of what a paradise should be. This can be seen in Alex Garland’s The Beach. The novel is about several backpackers, Richard, Francoise, and Etienne, who come together and travel to an island community, their paradise, within Thailand. Ultimately, the story portrays the idea of a utopia-like society taking a turn for the worst and becoming a dystopia, something that the backpackers would not have expected. Throughout the story, the theme of a utopia turning into a dystopia could be seen through symbolism such as the “cancer” of traveling and the destruction that it brings.
The sun shimmers on my dark fur in just the right the way, causing my cat to stretch and let out a yawn exposing my canines. As my eyes open, I peep through the bright green leaves of the tree to see the morning sun luminate through. Rolling onto my side, I stand up on all fours and do a final cat stretch for my cramped back. I plop down on my rump and enjoy the refreshing breeze of spring.
