Knud Peterson, the main character in The Boys Who Challenged Hitler, and a lively 80 year old man, reflects on his life during World War II as a 13-year-old boy. Knud lives in Nazi occupied Denmark and resents Hitler and everything he stands for. In response he creates a secret club to counter Hitler's horrible acts of terror and they name it after the fiery British leader: The Churchill Club. The young patriots in the Churchill Club committed countless acts of sabotage such as, sabotaging valuable german, and stealing and burning german products all infuriating the Germans. The problem was that the Germans eventually had the boys tracked down and arrested. These boys had tried countless ways to escape the state prison. Only 4 of the 10 boys
