Hello everyone,
Today marks the beginning of a new series of articles I wish to work on, the Castelia City Times. Name is still pending but as of now, that's what I'm sticking with. In essence, this'll be a (hopefully) weekly article dedicated to non-Pokemon stuff, be it movies, other games, music, or anything else I feel like sharing with the rest of the League. I was originally planning on starting this series strong with Spider-Man Homecoming and Transformers: The Last Knight reviews, but my laptop was sadly corrupted and I lost those, as well as my will to continue trying this series out up until this point. Hopefully, I can make it up to you this week with a music analysis on one of the greatest rap artists of this era, J-Cole.

This leads to the chorus, which is him saying "I ain't ever did this before, no". He reveals to the listener that at this time, he is a virgin, leaving the listener in suspense as to what his response to the girl might be. This immediately leads us into the second verse, which is him lying to the girl, claiming he has had sex so as to not lose his opportunity. He also uses a brilliant line, "But if I told the truth, I knew that I'd get played out son/Haven't been in pussy since the day I came out one", which is absolutely genius writing. He ends the verse lying once more, being invited to the girl's house on Saturday to show his "prowess" in the sheets. It's at this point that the chorus plays once more, reminding us again that Cole is a virgin. This leads us into the third verse, which is the leadup, and presumably, the act of intercourse. The verse starts off with Cole freaking out and praying to God that he can satisfy this girl and not make a fool out of himself. We are then taken to the bedroom, where Cole is just about to take out the condom before the girl tells him to "be gentle cause", which immediately leads us back to the chorus. It's a classic misdirection, a double entendre where both teens are claiming experience when in reality, they're
In your article “Hip Hop Planet”, you write about the global impact of hip hop, and the powerful message it contains. You first came across hip hop at a party, and didn’t like it much. In fact you seem to hate it, until 26 years later, when you started to regret that you have missed a very important and cultural event. A vision is going through your head about your daughter falling in love with a rapper, which caused you to think twice about hip hop. Although, you don’t seem to like the sound and the beat from hip hop, you begin to realize how the lyrics contain powerful and meaningful messages. In the article, you talk about your first experience with hip hop, and your thoughts about it. You also describe the stereotypes of hip hop, and how

J Cole song, “Be Free”, showing the racism through the world and showing that Cole want everyone to happily and be free. Cole is showing problems people face every day through his powerful lyrics. “Every time I step outside I see my niggas die, I'm lettin' you know, that there ain't no gun they make that can kill my soul, Oh no.” (Lines 14-18). Cole is saying that every time someone look on the news, social media, or talking its always about someone dying never about some good news. Cole is also trying to state that he will never stop trying and he going to keep pushing till he time comes by God. Grow stated, “Cole dedicated the song to every young black man murdered in America, regardless of the race of the person who killed them. I pray that one day the world will be filled with peace and rid of injustice, he wrote. Only then will we all Be Free.” Throughout this song “Be Free” J Cole is also showing a tribute to Michael Brown and others. J Cole is also telling his pain of seeing other African Americans dying by racial profile, racism, and more. “And I'm in denial, and it don't take no x-ray to see right through my smile, I know, I be on the go, and there ain't no drink out there that can numb my soul, oh no.” (Lines 1-5) Cole is trying to say that today in society people get in others way when they trying to be successful and saying do not let that happen. Eighteen years ago, newlyweds Perfecto and Macrina Esquivel immigrated to the United States from Mexico with nothing more than the clothes on their backs and a desire to achieve the American Dream. The couple worked hard and built a life for themselves in Omaha, but they never forgot to send money back to their kin in Mexico. Despite their success in the United States, they can't help but miss the families they left behind, especially since neither of them have seen their parents in over twenty-one years. As time passed border restrictions grew, making it much too risky to return to Mexico for a visit. This became a problem when, about four years ago, Perfecto's mother died, and he was not able to hug her one last time or even go back to Mexico for the funeral, because he knew that if he went to Mexico it would be very unlikely that he could return to America. While most of you probably cannot even begin to imagine what it would be like to lose a loved one without being able to go to his/her funeral, this is unfortunately a sad reality for most immigrants. As immigration laws become stricter, families are
Prior to the time period of 1793-1795, the less radical group of the two branches of Jacobins, known as the Girondists, led the Legislative Assembly to declare war on Austria on April 20, 1792. This declaration of war against Austria further led to France’s war with Western Europe which included Austria, Prussia, Great Britain, Spain, Sardinia, and Holland who later created the First Coalition, an alliance between these countries to protect their social structures and political systems. The war against the majority of Europe brought threat to the achievements of the Revolution. In order to protect these achievements, France transitioned into an era of radicalness and began executing the mass of inhabitants that were painted as enemies of the
When raising their child, parents often question whether or not they should allow their child to participate in an early childhood education program, such as Pre-K. Usually, it's because they are skeptical of the effectiveness of these programs, what with all the debate surrounding the subject. Many claim that these programs do nothing to benefit a child’s success. However, that is not true. Early childhood education programs actually provide a stable head-start for a child’s future success.
Reporter stated the following: Cortez has been living with Felicia since September 4th, 2015 when his mom dropped him off. Felicia and Cortez had seen the mom for the first time on last Tuesday. The mom came and got him on last Tuesday and dropped him off on Thanksgiving Day. The mom has custody. The mom does not want Cortez and it is unknown why. Felicia said the mom is refusing to sign over guardianship because she does not want to lose her benefits. The mom does not want to lose her place to live but she does not want Cortez. Roosevelt (dad) signed over guardianship to Felicia but the mom did not. However, the mom signed over guardianship to her other child’s (unknown) father. If the mom gives up Cortez she will not receive benefits. The
He refers to mostly sex, which is honestly what I should have expected. But even this being the content of his album, it still worked very nice, aside from a few lines that made me chuckle. "I just eat pussy other people eat food." That lyric had me laughing. Mac Miller isn't known for his wonderful singing, but the way he uses his voice in these songs just ends up working with the beats. He actually doesn't have that bad of a singing voice as I look back at some of the songs he did on previous albums ("Objects in the Mirror", "ROS", "Jump"). It seems that on every album he gets a little more personal, like on the first song "Congratulations," where he seems to be talking about his ex-girlfriend and how he went through the beginnings of trying to become a rapper. I tried to tweet at him to figure out what the first song was about, of course he didn't respond, was worth a shot
Naples, Italy is located in southern Europe along the coast, east of the Mediterranean Sea. Its longitude and latitude are 40.8450° N and 14.2583° E, which means that Naples never gets directed sunlight overhead any day throughout the year. Naples has an elevation of about 20 feet above sea level. This is relatively low, and the city itself is close to the sea as well. This is kind of scary because the sea levels keep rising, and in the future Naples could be submerged in water. Naples Italy also is 45.28 square miles and has a population of around 960,000 people, this is the third most out of all the cities in Italy.
In the hot days near the end of June 1998, my mother dealt with me kicking inside of her stomach. Similarly, in Washington, D.C., Senator John McCain dealt with figurative kicks in the stomach as the bill he created was being shut down. Determined and persuasive, big tobacco companies aimed their advertisements at teenagers more than ever before. Some members of Congress wanted to end the advertising, while others thought about the upcoming November election and did not want to be put on the bad side of big tobacco companies, who were some of their major campaign backers. Back in Louisville, Kentucky, my dad sat with my very pregnant mother; at the same time, he held a cigarette between his teeth and read the Courier Journal, which read all about the tobacco bill. During the last few weeks of my mother’s pregnancy, tobacco was the topic; specifically, Senator McCain’s tobacco bill, Kentucky analyzed how the tobacco bill

With the development of the modern society, the rhythm of life has become compact. The intense work and pressure of survival result in an increase in patients with mental illnesses. “It 's Outrageous: Jails and Prisons Are No Place to Treat Mental Illness; Just Ask Paton Blough” is article written by Mary Giliberti. The article describes the unfair treatment of the mentally ill patients in jails. In the present times, the system of jail has a deficiency in this regard, and there is an urgent need to change this situation. In the article, Giliberti succeeds in convincing her American audiences especially the legislators and policy makers to end the current prison systems as they lack the facilities to treat the mentally ill. The author
This verse compare his musical career to sex for the first time. A virgin will push to the limit to "pop her cherry" and get the physical pleasure that she so despartley wants, especially when a girl is losing her virginity, she tries to make it the best experience of her life because it will impact her for the rest of her life. He is also portraying how he is "virgin" to the kind of money a famous singer will make, so hopefully he can handle it. this is his only chance and he hopes that he will be on top and stay there.
The concept that marriage can occur, endure, and succeed without the factor of love seems to be common in many other places in the world. “Who Needs Love! In Japan, Many Couples Don’t,” by Nicholas D. Kristof published in the New York Times in 1996 explores the aspects and success of loveless marriage in Japan beginning with Yuri Uemura of Omiya, Japan.
