Romeo and Juliet started off liking each other and then they both got married and then Romeo has been banned from Verona. This all happened because of Tybalt had killed Mercutio, so Romeo had chased Tybalt and challenged him to a fight and Romeo had killed Tybalt. After that Juliet’s father had said that the marriage of Paris and Juliet is tomorrow. So then Friar Lawrence had to come up with a plan to get Juliet with Romeo. So the plan was to fake Juliet’s death and Romeo take her and go but that didn’t happen. Romeo’s servant Balthasar thought Juliet was actually dead, but she wasn’t but he still reported it to Romeo. Then Romeo got poison and saw Juliet and then drank the poison. Once Juliet woke up, she saw Paris lying there and then saw Romeo dead. So then she took Romeo’s dagger and stabbed herself. So the blame of Romeo and Juliet’s death should be on Friar Lawrence, Nurse, and The feud between the Capulets and Montagues. …show more content…

One reason is that Friar Lawrence got them married and that is a problem because he knew that Romeo’s family and Juliet’s family hate each other. Friar Lawrence just wanted to end the feud which happened, but then it caused two deaths. After the death of Romeo and Juliet, Friar Lawrence says “Doth make against me, of this direful murder; And here I stand, both to impeach and purge(Act 5 Scene 3), he even blames himself for their deaths. Another reason why to blame Friar Lawrence is he had a plan to give Romeo a letter about faking Juliet’s death and she runs away with Romeo but Romeo didn’t even get the letter.
