When he wakes up, he is in the hospital. Three days have passed while he is in his coma. The doctor tells him that he is blind in his left eye and will probably not be able to go back to sports. Through the many days that Luke is in the hospital many people come to visit him,

He had trouble adjusting to his new stepfather, like Luke." It should have been his father there " (page 33) and " father's hands were like that" (page 35) demonstrates how Lulach praised his father and didn't want to accept his stepfather being in his dad’s position. In this story, many language features have been used. The dialogue tense emphasises the emotion behind the relationship between the stepfathers and sons. Also characterisation is strongly used to connect with Luke and Lulach, for an example, “how would she react, he thought, if I kissed her?” Shows that Luke is a bit of a dare devil and has curiosity to his
So he snuck over to the girl's house and they became friends. This girl's name was Jen she was crazy in Luke's mind but he liked her any way. What happens next I will leave that up to you to find out.
Luke is a third child. In the world where he is from, parents are only allowed two kids. Going over the limit is against the law. The only way for Luke to be safe is by hiding, he isn't even allowed to look or go outside. Soon Luke discoveries that he could look out the vent without being caught. The vent helps him realize that he is not the only third child.
Luke also is a character not well explored. He certainly is supportive of Isabelle, but then he just remains in the shadow of the story. It’s not clear how he adds to the plot or even if he’s needed.
First, the town takes down the trees around Luke’s house to build more houses. This made it difficult for Luke to stay hidden. Next, Luke’s mother started working at the factory to make more money to support her family. Then, Luke was restricted to his room. He couldn’t go anywhere but his room. As he was searching for ways to look outside he found a small vent that allowed him to look out. When he was looking out the window, he noticed Jen also looking out a small window. Next, he came to a decision to go over to Jen’s house. When they were talking Jen told Luke about the rally. The rally is kind of like a protest for shadow children. Jen went with the rest of the shadow children. When he went to Jen’s house the next day, Jen’s dad told him she had got shot and killed by the population police. Luke was very sad. The population police came to Jen’s house to talk to her dad while Luke was there and Jen’s dad had to hide him. He hid inside a closet under some blankets. After that, Jen’s dad got Luke a fake I.D. so that he could go live a normal life somewhere else. Next, he went on living a normal life as Lee

The day after they hook up for the first time, Jon kicks Luke out staying that he never wants to see him again.
In the book Among the Hidden I was able to Visualize Luke running into the house because the woods were coming down. I visualized Luke running around the backyard and playing by the woods. I saw him running in the grass and taking in all the smells of summer like flowers and fresh cut grass. I also visualized Luke sitting at the dinner table questioning his parents about why he couldn’t go outside. Luke was arguing that it wasn’t right and I could see him getting frustrated. I could also see his Dad getting upset and yelling loud in the room when Luke pushed it. Among the Hidden is a good book that I was able to see what I was reading. In chapter 1 I was able to predict that Luke’s family has a secret no one can know about. I predicted that
The soldier makes his way to Sara, as I stand by unable to stop him. I see Hanau, and I try to catch his attention before I lose him in the crowd again. I can’t see Sara, but she is probably lying on the ground, in shock from being pushed away by her mother. The crowd shifts and the soldiers are pushed towards Sara.
Two minutes later, they were sitting in Luke's living room next to the coffee table.
Little did these two high school acquaintances know that one day cookies would be the joining factor that would bring their love story together. After some online stalking by Diana and a lot of persuasive conversations with Jaime, he finally convinced her to bake and deliver him cookies. From that day on, the two have been inseparable, as they continued to grow their love for one another… and of course
In terms of socioemotional development, Luke is very proud and this is evident in his interactions with others. He is blunt, rarely censoring himself around others. However, the things he says are calculated and brought out only when he feels that he will achieve a specific result. When he tells Sally that he thinks frequently of sleeping with her, he is visibly unhappy by her reaction, but he continues to pursue her in a less overt manner until she finally propositions him after he chains himself to the gate. Luke is shown as being quite friendly with the other residents of the hospital, and is quite close to Billy, especially given his reaction to his suicide. With regards to the isolation versus intimacy crisis, Luke was very much isolated in the beginning of the film, between his paralysis, the poor conditions of the hospital, and the seeming indifference from the staff. By the end of the film, however, Luke seemed to be on his way towards healthier relationships and achieving intimacy in spite of his
He pushes her of him, as she falls on the shining white tiles of the hallway. She rolls onto her stomach and pleads for him not to leave, crawling and grabbing onto his leg. He wiggles his left leg, unhinging her and leaving her on the tiles scream for him to return. He heads for the door and leaves leaving her crying on the floor.

Because of this love for Jocelyn, Luke takes care of Clary from afar, even when Clary believes that he left him. He sends some of his wolves to shadow her, to make sure that she is okay.
