The Great Gatsby written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The historical accuracy in this story is written and shown very well. This book even though it wasn’t recently made it has things that make you feel and seem like they were written on our actual times. For example starting with the setting it is very accurate because the place in the story called east egg and west egg is realistic, there is an actual place near rhode island that is named that place. According to my research that is what i found. In my opinion, i think the book great gatsby is very historically accurate because they got a realistic place. The political issue in this story is very similar to the historical place and social issues. The reason why it is very similar is because the political problems were always about social classes, and where they lived. It was always about the rich or poor class, and alcohol was also a political issue. It also had another issue which was cultural issue. I think the cultural issue in this story is in the place, which is New York. There is many things that happened in the book that still happen in this actual times. For example the phrase everyone says “you have to have money to live there”, that was happening back then and still is now problems and difficulties with social classes is similar to the cultural issues. They both share the same opinion about being in the city, with the poor or the rich. Finally the author’s portrayal of reality, this is a deep meaning to me because the author is very intelligent. He wrote the book like we are on a daily basis, except were living the actual time.
