I remember was use to read a newspapers or watching on tv about News heard that is happening a Gun Control in the schools from Sandy Hook in Newtown Connecticut are shooting is a country. Because a self person of the boy order enter to kill in the elementary school in front office with hall of school without students are 20 dead each of the Kindergarten to 4th grade and some for teacher is 6 dead being to staff members was on December 14, 2012 part of the 3 years. But how to feel their hurt is a people being to families and friend has children and adult in the school begin to members lost. Because is a cause in the death of life is hurt loved one they don’t have got guns never to happen and someone who fault bring to guns enter want to killed.
Guns and schools just don’t mix. Of course, this could be arguable from both sides. Only nine out of our fifty states allow guns on campus. Most private universities have the choice to decide if they want to allow concealed weapons on campuses. As for public institutions with the law in its state, they have no choice. Public institutions only have control of what buildings are limited. There are numerous reasons that it could be beneficial, but it can also be a complete catastrophe just waiting to happen. In today’s society, people feel the need to be more protected because of what’s going on in the world. There have been many reported incidents in regards to guns being abused on school grounds. Guns end lives, so it’s imperative that we understand the rules and why they’re so important. In order for people to really understand the pros and cons of having guns on campus, they first must began to understand its safety hazards, retaliation and prevention mechanism.
Should firearm safety be required in school? Many people debate about this but the truth is that if we had firearm safety there would be less accidents. For example, Wyatt Whitaker could have live; instead, he was not handling the firearm safely which lead to his death shortly after the accident.
Nine year old Aaron Schmitt had been rummaging around in his dad’s closet and found a shiny new toy. He was enthralled with his find. As he felt the cold metal in his hand, he thought of the fun he could have playing a game of cops and robbers. Aaron spun the gun around in his hand wanting to show it to his friends. He knew he should ask for permission from his parents to take the gun but he figured his dad would never realize the gun was missing. He thought long and hard about what he was going to do and finally decided that he was going to take the gun to school and show it off. His decision made, he put the gun in his backpack to take to school the following morning.
This is a world where gun control could easily be seen as one of the most controversial topics around. And it brings up the controversy, could it make college campuses safer if a select number of students and staff are able to bring concealed weapons? It could theoretically prove that students would be able to have the chance to protect themselves if a shooter were to get to the school and start rampaging, but others could see it as too much of a random thing to happen and too much panic could happen with many students running around, causing even more chaos for everyone there.
Imagine a world where school shootings did not exist. Parents could send their children to school without having to worry about them being shot. In 2013, thirty school shootings took place in the United States. The most devastating school shooting in U.S. history was the Bath School shooting. On May 18, 1927, Andrew Kehoe entered the Bath Elementary School killing thirty-eight people and injuring fifty-eight. Kehoe then returned to his truck, and committed suicide by using explosives. School teachers would have a better chance, in high risk situations if they carried guns.
Gun regulation has been a controversial topic since they were first established as a weapon. People for and against gun regulation provide strong arguments for their side. Gun regulation has fluctuated over time due to changes in office. Being a democracy prevents us from having consistency. As a nation we continue to change regulations on guns because of the different views our democracy allows us to have. The main aspects pose the most problems in gun control are violence, illegal sale of guns, and mental health checks.
Although there are many ways that schools can assist students with mental illnesses, their hands are also tied. For the amount of concern many Americans and politicians show for the failing healthcare system, there is a lack of funding and a shortage of school counselors, allowing for school violence to continue. Schools are educational settings, not clinical settings, and so they do not have the authority to provide treatment services to students, as they are unable to obtain malpractice coverage, making them liable for any incidents that would occur. There is only so much a school can do for a student who has a serious mental illness such as:
The United States should impose intransigent and firm gun laws to protect our society. Integrating severe gun laws will provide peace of mind to parents. Imposing rigid gun laws in schools will provide a safe environment for future generations. Maintaining strict gun laws will positively affect the safety of our country. Failure to maintain rigid gun laws established by our government will make this nation insecure and untrustworthy.
Randy woke up, got dressed, picked up his gun and went to school. Randy's school allows people to carry firearms if they have a gun permit for them. But many people want a permit free movement. Others say that the campus would be safer if there were no firearm carry zones. Some people like Randy think it's best to have firearms around so if a crisis comes up it would be stopped in its tracks. Critics of firearms say that just allowing firearms in the school increases the chances of someone actually getting hurt. What do the researchers have to say about this? Countless researchers believe that allowing or prohibiting firearms doesn't increase or decrease crime in an area. Some people don't even know what a concealed firearm is. A concealed
In all states now to get a handgun allow, an individual must pass a record verification to buy a gun. Lamentably, this is not the situation, and more youth can get hold of a handgun than any time in recent memory. Likewise, a stacked firearm in a man's house resembles a terrible protection arrangement that lone spreads 95% of the things that should be, incorporated. What's more, is significantly more with no issue simple for youngsters to get their hands on and use in wrongdoing to hurt somebody or hurt somebody in their home. I do trust that by executing harder handgun laws and giving adolescents stiffer condemning that carries out wrongdoing or violations with firearms can lessen wrongdoing by adolescents with weapons. Also, if an adolescent
Imagine being in a place where you are completely defenseless against another person in a school surrounded by many students and teachers where one hardly knows the intentions of others. People can be unpredictable and when one least expects it there is danger right around the corner. Gun control is an issue everybody has an opinion on how it is important, potentially threatening, and present in modern society. While many feel that providing teachers with handguns can lead to a harmful environment. Others feel that having a teacher who has the right state of mind to carry a handgun is better than having a complete stranger or student because no one wants to go to school in fear of a possible attack. By giving teachers firearms this would provide educators and students more security and overall safety.
My topic is important because I think if people would read this and listen to what I have to say about why there should be stricter gun laws and schools should provide more safety for kids that there would be a change in some things. First off I will explain why schools should have more protection. One thing that could change is if we had security at the doors of school. I know having security might cost a lot but there are retired vets out there that would probably do it for free if it means to keep our kids safe.
On April 20, 1999, two teenagers killed 13 people and wounded more than 20 at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado (Zirming). The incident drew worldwide attention. It led to widespread discussion over gun control and the prevention of school violence. With unstable characters like this jumping through the ineffective background checks, none are safe. You may think our little village is far from any of this. That’s what the families of victims in Sandy Hook said. Gun control is the effort to fight violent crime by strengthening laws on the ownership of firearms. The use of a gun in a crime is more likely to result in a person 's death than the use of most other kinds of weapons, including knives. Gun control laws aim to reduce the criminal use of guns as much as possible and, at the same time, to interfere as little as possible with other gun use. Without it, the world would spiral into chaos.
It is bad news for people that into state of the gun control saw a lot for shooting that killed in the world of the country is state laws has guns happening about school too can't believe that really sadly at Sandy Hook Elementary Shooting a bad story is person for adult man want to killing for students, teachers and everything inside for school has gun bad person is student young boy is Adam Lanza from High School. The issue of control has been a fairly controversial topic lately. With public shootings and massacres happening frequently and hundreds dead each year, it’s obvious that there’s a problem. Some believe that stricter gun laws are the solution, preferring safety and security over the promise of our right to keep and bear arms, kept safe by the constitution for years. However, that way of thinking forgets the core value of liberty that this nation was built on. So what is the solution? It’s obvious that the current gun laws aren’t good enough, seeing the rising amount of gun-related crime in the States.
