In analyzing the purpose of sociological research, methodology is used in a way to understand the correlation of human behavior with Sociological concepts as these apply to social institutions created within society. All of these authors investigate people as social beings, as their social behaviors create the basis and the framework of society. As their viewpoints share a correlation in aspects when addressing fundamentally necessary ideas of Sociology, both of these authors still tend to associate their ideas through different stances in contrast to one another. As they view individuals involved with different functions of society, Methodology becomes a necessary factor in understanding human behavior and interactions in everyday activities from both a micro and a macro perspective. Even though the concept of society has always been likely to change, the foundation and basis of society remains constant in its adaptability to adjust to environmental changes that impact social behaviors.
