In my own point of view of what I think critical thinking means is a guide to make a logical decision based on a number of variables such as factual evidence and credible resources that can create valid statements behind the action of thought process including being open-mindedness and demonstrating the differences of valid evidence and assuming to make and communicate their point of view to be understood by the others in a conversation.

In life, what we perceive tends to show misconception in how the thought plays out. A good example would be the character Jay Gatsby in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s American classic: The Great Gatsby. This process can take a very long time and requires patience if the buyer is seeking a long lasting car with minimal repairs required. It is very difficult as well as the process needs a lot of prior knowledge on cars. Certain guidelines must be followed to ensure that the car is reliable, long-lasting and does not require major repairs. Learning the best way to buy a used car is a very important life skill.

The word “Critical Thinking” in my own words mean is all about what you think can be range in all categories such as Rationality, Self- Awareness, Honesty, Open- Mindedness, Discipline, and Judgments “Critical thinkers draw conclusions only after they have defined their terms, distinguished fact from opinion, asked relevant questions, made detailed observations, and uncovered assumptions. Critical thinkers make assertions based on solid evidence and sound logic.” (Herr, December 2014) all those are some of skills that you will have to use your critical thinking to make life decisions, which I will share, related to, My own personal life, Education, and Human Rights & Laws.

Critical thinking means accurate thinking in the search of appropriate and dependable knowledge about the world. Another way to describe it is sensible, insightful, responsible, and skillful thinking that is focused on deciding what to believe or do. Critical thinking is not being able to process information well enough to know to stop for red lights or whether you established the right change at the supermarket.

Logic is the science of reasoning or sound reasoning. Logically the only reasoning I seem to understand is my own. This has caused me to make many wrong decisions. My judgment with people usually ends up with me looking like an idiot, but I live with the logic what don’t kill you is bound to make you strong. To understand what logic is first you need to be able to be able to understand the reasoning for exactly what is going one at the time.
