Holocaust Research Paper: Rough Draft The Entirety of the Jewish people was affected by the Holocaust during World War II. The study of the Holocaust directly ties in with the study of the state of Israel because Israel has the right to be able to defend themselves against anything similar to the Holocaust from ever happening again, Jews are committing crimes against other nations in order to protect themselves, and the Jews forced to move from most European countries to the state of Israel. The state of Israel and its people are being attacked, and they need to be able to fight back. “Throughout history, the slanders against the Jewish people always preceded the

Other countries around Israel are threatening the Jewish state, and because of the Jewish people 's history, they need to be able to stop anything terrible from happening again. “In recent decades the hatred of the Jews has reemerged with increasing force, but with an insidious twist. It is not merely directed at the Jewish people but increasingly at the Jewish state…if only Israel did not exist, many of the world’s problems would go away.” (Source A). Jews throughout history, have received hatred from many different countries for different reasons. Though the people need support from other countries to be able to protect themselves. “A radical Iranian regime armed with nuclear weapons could bring an end to the era of nuclear peace the world has enjoyed for the last 65 years…Iran’s brazen bid to develop nuclear weapons is first and foremost a threat to Israel…” (Source A). Israel may be an entire country, but the history of the Jewish people states that they are weak. So it is an easy target for a country to destroy. Israel may have been at peace with Iran before, but now that Iran has the tools for war, they are willing to just throw it away, because Iran knows it can happen again. Because of all of the threats against the Jewish people, tensions and the amount of fear is growing. The state of Israel is becoming so paranoid, that the Jewish people are committing crimes against other
The development of Israel received more threats of obliteration, but Israel could defend themselves. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu states that "The head of Hezbollah says: "If all the Jews gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide” (Source A). This example falls into the Holocaust. The Holocaust gathered Jews for their obliteration but now even after the Holocaust, there are still threats of letting the Jews have Israel so they can wipe out the Jews easier instead of gathering the Jews from different countries. This is a prime example showing that the study of the Holocaust ties into the state of Israel because the state of Israel was threatened of obliteration of the Jews, which would carry out the Holocaust. The Prime Minister then explains further that, “The founding of Israel did not stop the attacks against Jews. It merely gave the Jews power to defend themselves against those attacks…Time and again the Israeli army was forced to repel attacks of much larger enemies determined to destroy us"(Source A). Another threat was again identified by the Prime Minister “radical Iranian armed with nuclear weapons could bring an end to the era of nuclear peace the world has enjoyed for the last 65 years. Such a regime could provide nuclear weapons to terrorists might be tempted to use them itself...Iran's brazen bid to develop nuclear weapons is first and foremost a threat to Israel”(Source A). Overall both these quotes give support to the reasoning that the threats and attacks against the Jews aren’t scarce but rising. The development of Israel only gave the Jews more power to defend themselves against the crimes, instead of lowering the threat of the obliteration of their race. All the threats are very dangerous for the Jews in this time period and were very dangerous back then. Before Israel was developed the Jews were targeted without defense in
The Holocaust not only affected the areas where it took place, it affected the entire world. Even though Jewish people were the main victims in the Holocaust, it also left lasting effects on other groups of people. Both, the Nazi and Jewish decedents, still feel the aftermath of one of the most horrific counts of genocide that the world has ever encountered. The cries of the victims in concentration camps still ring around the globe today, and they are not easily ignored. Although the Holocaust took place during World War Two, the effects that it had on the world are still prominent today.
The Holocaust ravaged the Jewish nation when it took place. It was a catastrophic violation of the Jews’ rights, and the mass murderings that happened then have carried over to the present to affect the State of Israel. The studies of the State of Israel and the Holocaust directly tie together because the history of the Jewish people connects with their current conflicts, they are sorely misunderstood by the world, and because of the Holocaust, Israel has needed to heavily fortify their security against international threats.
In 1948, Israel, originally known as Palestine was created. The Jews believed Israel was their ‘holy’ birthplace, this was called religious connection. In the book of Genenis, a verse states “I will bless those who bless you and cures him that cures you” (document A). When the “westerners” saw this verse they felt the need to get the Jews to get their holy land. This is called Zionism. Another reason is the Holocaust, which was the massacre of 6 million Jews. Anti-Semitism was also another reason, which was discrimination of Jews.
Throughout history, hatred has been a widespread thought which has caused widespread death, chaos, and war. One huge and important example would be the Holocaust. This idea that Jewish
In our society, there are a handful of people who believe that anti-Semitism is a matter of the past, and do not realize that it still exists today. Countless of Jews face it more than once in their lifetime, whether it may be an

The Holocaust was a national event that affected many adult's and children's lives. Over 6 million people were killed during the holocaust. But it mostly affected Jewish people during this time
The Holocaust was one of the most tragic events in history which ended innocent Jew lives it was led by one man and his followers named Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. It was an tragic event that murdered millions and of the Jewish people and left thousands of them with physical and mental scars. The Nazis who came to power in Germany in January 1933 felt that Germans were " racially superior " and that the Jews deemed " inferior " were an alien threat to their German community. In the 20th century was the start of WWI political and economic dislocation. Nazi persecution of Jews led to the Holocaust they suffered in many ways they were discriminated against and forced to go into hiding they were sent into the "Ghetto" and treated unfairly in very
The Jews were the most powerful culture back in the ancient times. This was a threat to others. The Hebrews had their own homeland before they became Jews. The homeland was the center of trade, commerce, and cultural exchanged, through the three major areas, Asia, Europe, and Africa. These areas were also a common place for conflict groups war with one another(rabbi,yaaca,2008).The Jews are to themselves and they do not push their beliefs on other people. They have been persecuted throughout history. The cities have been destroyed to the ground by hated armies, the temples have been tarnished to the ground several times, and have been put out by Jerusalem many times. The
Throughout the history of the world, the Jewish people have been persecuted and oppressed because of their religious beliefs and faith. Many groups of people have made Jews their scapegoat. Jews have suffered from years of intolerance because people have not understood what the religion really means. They do not understand where and why the religion began, nor the customs of it's people. For one to understand the great hardships, triumphs, and history of the Jewish people one must open-mindedly peruse a greater knowledge of the Jewish people and faith.
Throughout the endless history, there were lots of important and influential event. For example the Dark Age, Enlightenment, Civil War, World War I and II and the Cold War. Over all of these event, there was one event that deeply influence the world and the Jews today, it was the Holocaust. Holocaust, a term that people use to describe the horrible event that happened during World War II which kill millions of innocent citizens. The Holocaust started at January 13, 1933, when Hitler became the leader of Germany. It continued until the V - E Day, which happened on May 8, 1945. 6 million Jews, and 5 million non-Jews were killed during the Holocaust. The causes and effect of the Holocaust was Hitler’s racism, poor economic conditions, and the death of 6 million Jews which led to the creation of the nation of Israel.
A Political, Cultural, and Religious Description of the Current Atmosphere as Exists in Israel Israel, in the 1990's, is in a continual state of political, cultural and religious flux. Religion continues to play a central factor in the difficulties which the state has been and continues to experience. This unique country is characterized by an amalgam of cultural and ethnic diversity. This historical and cultural fact ensures that the difficulties the state has been experiencing in realizing self-adjustment will continue. At the same time, there exist mostly positive and persistent facets of the culture which continue unabated as will be discussed.
Israel, a country of only 8.38 million people, has been thriving since it's independence in the year 1948. It runs as a vibrant democracy and the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has successfully lead a coalition government consisting of right-leaning and religious parties. This 8,019 square mile country, “has a modern market economy with a thriving high-technology sector that attracts considerable foreign investment” (heritage.org, 1). Israel is surrounded by much larger and hateful countries towards Israel, leading to multiple wars including the 2006 war against Hezbollah in Lebanon, the 2008-2009, 2012, and 2014 wars against Hamas in Gaze, and furthermore, the constant and daily threats of terrorism. But, although Israel experiences
The reason for many of these attacks include land, claim of the country and anti-semitisem. Israel which is only 8,000 square miles is on the Mediterranean sea which is very good for its ports which are good for shipping and trade. The first of the wars involving the Arabs and the Israelis was the First Palestinian War which took place between 1947
