The Legendary Beatles
The Beatles should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because of the history of the band, the popularity and history of their music, and The Magical Mystery Tour and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Their history is a long winding road with a few hills along the way and the birth of the is just as interesting. The Beatles were British and was first known as the Quarry Men. Paul McCartney joined the Quarry Men when he was fifteen years old. John Lennon and Paul got to know a great deal about each other and became good friends, which is good because John is the head of the band. They were inspired by the Crickets and started to write songs in Buddy’s style, which was the leader of the Crickets. Paul and
In 1960, Paul McCarthy, John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison, created a rock band in Liverpool named The Beatles, which without them knowing, would become the most successful and popular rock band in the 20th century. Popular enough that the group was the first group ever to perform at a sports arena because they needed a large enough space for all the people that bought the tickets. The Beatles became so powerful that contributed to a movement called “the British invasion”. Before The Beatles, all the musicians that made it
The Beatles are one of the most innovative rock bands of all time. They have not only changed the way rock and roll is looked at, but also the way that the music is recorded. They have influenced the artists of the 60s and the 70s, and also many generations later and to come. Originating from Liverpool, England, the Beatles, or the Fab Four, consists of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Topping the charts in ’63 with “Love Me Do,” and bringing in the highest rated viewing in history while performing on the Ed Sullivan Show, the Beatles are definitely a band that broke the sound barrier of rock
Before researching, I already knew a lot about the Beatles. I knew that the band was made up of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. They started the famous "British Invasion" of the 1960's on American pop/rock music, and they started a craze that
Jerry Lee Lewis deserves to be in in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He deserves to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame because he changed the way that people thought that Rock & Roll should be. He introduced the piano to the Rock & Roll scene which was unique at the time and people thought that, that was amazing. He also brought in a new attitude towards what people in Rock & Roll should be like, he was seen as the bad boy of Rock & Roll. One issue that occured with his third wife put his career in a setback and he stopped producing hits and canceled the rest of his tours.
Music is an Art form that has been around since humans were created All around the world music is played in many different forms and styles. As early as the 1950 's, a new style of music was being created in the Untied States, one that forever changed the world. Not only did it bring a completely different sound, but it changed the way people acted, dressed, and even people 's lifestyles. This new style of music became known as Rock and Roll. It drew many from a one-way path to a sea of possibilities musically. Me being a music lover really enjoyed the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame site. Rock and Roll have sheltered and comforted me in many times of needs. For as long as I can remember as a kid and throughout my painful adolescence years, and also as an adult, it has inspired me to appreciate the music of all kinds throughout the years.
Admission to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in Cleveland, has been postponed for the current week, apparently so Republican National Convention-goers can unreservedly visit the "Louder Than Words: Rock, Power, and Politics" show shortly possessing its upper floors. This appears like a smart thought. For quite a long time, Republican crusades have profoundly misjudged, regularly in clever ways, the most developmental and vital belief systems of rock music, as prove by their unending avoiding of restraining requests from performers who don 't need their dissident hollers related, even incidentally, with preservationist motivation.
I’m writing to nominate the rock band Aerosmith for induction into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame. Aerosmith should be in the hall of fame because they made rap-rock popular and they brought it to the Top 100 on the Billboard. They have made many albums and they have played for a super bowl halftime show. They have had several tours that have sold millions of tickets. Their song “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” was #1 on Billboard Top One hundred twice. They have been playing for 47 years this has shown their musical dedication. This has also shown the world that they are an excellent band that isn't done making amazing. So this is why myself and others want them to be forever remembered in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame.
From the amazing museums to the beautiful gardens, adrenaline filled amusement parks, the adventurous wildlife exhibits known as zoos; Ohio has everything you could ask for. My favorite attraction has to be the Rock and Roll Hall and Fame and Museum. There are so many unique features about this museum, I wouldn’t know where to begin. The tower on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame supports a dual-triangular-shaped glass “tent” that extends onto a 65,000-square foot plaza that makes up the main entrance. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame also opened a library and archives which holds the most comprehensive repository of materials related to the history of rock and roll.
The Beatles was composed of four members: Paul McCartney (born June 18, 1942), John Lennon (born October 9, 1940), George Harrison (born February, 25, 1943), and Ringo Starr (born Richard Starkey; July 7,
During the next 10 years, the British foursome out of Liverpool went on to become the most successful musical act of all time. According to the Recording Industry Association of America, The Beatles are the best-selling musical act of all time in the United States. They released more than 40 different singles and albums that reached number one at one point or another. Rolling Stone magazine ranked them the #1 group
Since 1983, obviously, the goal of every band is to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Understandably, not anyone can be inducted in to this prestigious club. In order to be nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame any songs recorded less than 25 years ago will not be eligible. Most importantly you must have a superior catalog of music. Out of the 15 nominees for the 2016 inductees, I was intrigued with learning more about The J.B.’s, Chicago, Janet Jackson, Deep Purple and The Spinners. Born in 1982, I hardly knew any of the contenders; although, I was eager to explore and possibly joining a new fan club.

The Beatles evolved from an amateur teenage skiffle group, the Quarry Men, formed by Lennon in 1956 and named after his school, Quarry Bank High. McCartney joined the Quarry Men in July 1957, Harrison in March 1958. The only artefacts left of the Quarry Men period is a cover version of Buddy
