I. Introduction
Charles Robert Darwin (born 1809; died 1882) was a British naturalist, geologist, and biologist. Darwin defined evolution as "descent with modification" based on the idea that species change over time giving rise to new species that share a common ancestor. In 1837-1839, Darwin proposed the theory of biological evolution by natural selection. Because resources are limited in nature, organisms with heritable traits that favor survival and reproduction will tend to leave more offspring than their peers, causing the traits to increase in frequency over generations. The mechanism that Darwin proposed for evolution is natural selection.

What is the big bang theory?
Before the big bang, scientists believe the entire massiveness of the visible universe, including all its matter and radiation, was compressed into a hot, dense mass just a few millimeters across. The explosion happened quickly in a very short time, the universe expanded from a tiny concentrated matter to an astronomical scope.
B. Creationists view
Many religious people, including religious scientists believed that god created the universe and the process that causes evolution which leads to the creation of the solar system. Yet they both have one thing in common: no matter what time the universe was created, they believe that god created it in six days and the same way that it is now
C. Islamic view Muslim scholars stated that the details mentioned with regards to the Big Bang theory go identically hand in hand with the description of the creation of the universe in verse 30 of chapter 21 of the Quran “Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them, and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?” (Quran 21:30). The theory also matches what is mentioned in the verse that the heaven and Earth (the universe) where once joined together, and then split apart. The only
The theory of the universe 's origin centers on a cosmic catastrophe known as the big bang. The big bang theory proponents imply that 10 billion to 20 billion years ago, a massive blast from an ancient and unknown type of energy allowed all the universe 's known matter and energy, including space and time. The big bang theory was first suggested in the 1920 's by a Belgian priest named Georges Lemaître. He theorized that the universe began from a single primordial atom. The idea received major reinforcements by Edwin Hubble 's observations that other galaxies are moving away from our own at great speed, in all directions, as if they had all been propelled by an ancient explosive force, (National Geographic, n.d.).
Humanity has always struggled with the controversy of how the universe was created, since it is a question without a definite answer. People tend to look to science and religion to solve this problem. Christianity is the most followed religion, and evolution is the most popular scientific belief. Christians claim there is a greater being (God), who created the universe.
In the beginning people had trouble understanding how the world was created, and how humans evolved. As the world grew and species of all kind grew with it, humans created different theoretical explanations on how the; World, People, Animals, Plants, etc, was created. Charles Darwin a famous scientist created the theory of Evolution, Darwin is known for this.
Charles Robert Darwin, born on the 12th of February in 1809. Born in the tiny merchant town of Shrewsbury, England. Darwin was a naturalist and biologist known for his theory of evolution and the process of natural selection. Darwin's theory of evolution meant that species survived through a process called natural selection, where those that successfully adapted, or evolved, to meet the changing requirements of their habitat. He studied birds, plants, and fossils. He noticed similarities among the species all over the globe, along with variations based on specific locations, leading him to believe that species we know today has gradually evolved from common ancestors. In 1858, Darwin publicly introduced his revolutionary theory of evolution
Darwin’s theory of Evolution by Natural Selection is the process of which organisms that are better adapted to their environment tend to survive longer and pass down certain traits to the next generation. There are many different ideas as to how evolution started. The theory of evolution states that it happened spontaneously due to perfect conditions on the Earth millions of years ago. Others believe that it happened through the Cambrian explosion.
Charles Darwin is a naturalist who was an important person to genetics. Darwin was born on February 12, 1809. He created the Theory of Natural Selection and the Theory of Evolution. He discovered how animals evolved in the past. Charles Darwin was one of the scientists who found out about natural selection and evolution.
To be the place where the falling angel meets the rising ape. The two theories of creation and evolution often support each other despite the fact that the two groups seem to always be at odds. Most Cosmologists believe that the universe began about thirteen point seven billion years ago, in an event called the big bang. Theoretical physicist, Nobel laureate in physics, and atheist Steven Weinberg describes the beginning of the universe; “in the beginning there was an explosion, within three minutes ninety-eight percent of the matter that was or ever would be was created.” (Weinberg) For twenty- five hundred years scientists agreed with Aristotle that the universe was a steady state with no beginning and no end. The bible disagreed with that. Theist astronomer George Lemaitre was the first scientist to figure out the basics of the beginning of the universe, and led to the theory of “the big bang”. He explained the description of the big bang, a sudden explosion of light coming from seemingly nothing, is exactly what he would expect if God gave the command found in Genesis 1:3 “let there be light.” (King James Bible, Genesis. 1:3) while some prefer to hold their belief of either creation or evolution without acknowledging the other side, some choose to believe both. That a higher power simply made the possibility of life and then that life developed on its own from there. Fossil findings, complexity, and the
Charles Darwin developed the theory of evolution through natural selection. Darwin’s theory of evolution through natural allowed others to explore and learn new things. Darwin was not a member of the HMS Beacon, but was a member of the HMS Beagle. During this time he visited many different places, took notes and samples of any scientific observations which helped him develop his theory. Darwin’s work was influenced by the writing of Thomas Maithus, who developed the theory of population growth. He discovered that species, whose features that make them better able to cope, tend to increase overtime. If related individuals continue to breed, inbreeding problems arise. This is another thing Darwin discovered. Small differences can be found when the same species lives in
Charles Robert Darwin was born February 12, 1809. Darwin was born into a very wealthy family and he was a raised in Shrewsbury, England. His dad Dr. Robert Darwin was a physician. His mother died of an illness when he was only 8 years old. He was the youngest child out of 6 children. October 1825, Darwin was forced to go into the study of medicine/physician at Edinburgh University, to follow in his father’s footsteps at the age of 16 along with his brother Erasmus. Two years later, Darwin gave up medicine due to feeling weak when he saw blood, so his father arranged for him to go study at a Christ’s college in Cambridge. He again, did not succeed. Darwin began his love for animals and nature as a child. He was fascinated with their colors, and personality. Later on in life, Charles Darwin became an English naturalist. He married a lady named Emma Darwin, on January 29, 1839. She was also his 3rd cousin. They had a total number of 10 children throughout his life and three of them died at an early age. There are three people who inspired him throughout his life. One was named “Jean Baptiste Lamarck. He was a huge inspiration to Darwin and probably the greatest inspiration, Lamarck was a French naturalist and who was one of the first scientist to ever propose that species change over a long period of time. Charles Lyell was an English geologist that said earth must be far older than most people in the 1800’s. Finally, “Thomas Malthus,” was an inspiration because he influenced many fields of political economy and demography. Then one day a scientist named “Alfred Russel Wallace,” a former scientist needed an assist that is knowledgeable and dedicated enough to go on a long trip over seas. Darwin was perfect for the job. Darwin went on the trip to study the nature of seas in Africa, Brazil, and then to Argentina with Alfred Russel Wallace. When Darwin and Wallace arrived in Argentina, he dug up many skeletons and fossils and had a thought of what relations do
Scientists believe that the formation of the universe started with the Big Bang Theory and the universe was an enormous compacted hot and dense mass. Roughly 13.7 billion years ago, the dense mass of the universe began to expand and cool and formed
It is often thought today that the theory of evolution started with Darwin and begun in the nineteenth Hundreds. Nonetheless, the thought of species changing over the years, had picked up for a long time in one shape to something else. It was denied by the maximum, due to the defender whom did not had any slight idea dealing with a gratifying mechanism that would analyze in innovation. The utmost significant evolutionary beliefs pervious to Darwin were of Lamarck and Geoffrey Hillarie, advanced around the time of 1794 and 1830. Landmark implied that species expand over the help or none-use of distinct forum. In a humanistic illustration a giraffe that expanse its cervix lightly to grasps the leaves above will boost its cervix growth, and as a consequence its small growth would be moved to its offspring. In either way, these theories of change were established on a preceding reason that allowed no exhibit mechanism.
Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution is the most successful theory of it’s kind. Darwin’s idea of Natural Selection has found success not just in the organic world, but also in human society. This is no coincidence. After Darwin’s Beagle voyage, he returned to England during the Industrial Revolution. As a man of wealth, Darwin acted as a first-hand witness to the societal changes occurring around him. The Industrial Revolution, along with the corresponding economic theories played a large role in influencing Darwin’s theory of evolution.
Charles Darwin was an English naturalist and geologist, he was known greater for his contributions for the evolution theory. Darwin wrote a book in 1859 it was published and became the greatest and well known book. The name of the book was “On the Origin of Species”. In the book he wrote about his theory of evolution by natural selection, he discovered how the process of how organisms change as time goes on. Changes in traits and the organism’s physical behavior. Darwin believe change happens slowly over time. This was a quote that , Darwin wrote, "…Natural selection acts only by taking advantage of slight successive variations; she can never take a great and sudden leap, but must advance by short and sure, though slow steps"(Charles Darwin, 1859).
Have you ever wondered about the start of time? How about the start of the universe? Well, this question has been nagging astronomers and scientists alike for years and years. But in 1927, Georges Lemaitre proposed one of the most controversial theory of all time, the Big Bang.
So what does theory suggest about the beginning of the universe? The Big Bang Theory suggest first of all, that the universe did have a finite beginning and before that point, there was nothing. This beginning was around 13.7-8 billion years ago and that it came into existence from a singularity (something that still defies physical laws as we know them). A singularity is a point that is infinitely dense and are infinitely small. The universe began from something infinitely dense, small and hot. Where this singularity came from? We don 't know, something that cosmologists debate about constantly. After the Big Bang had occurred from this singularity, space expanded in to itself at incredibly high rates. This initial expansion called
