Halloweentown is a fantasy land overflowing with ghosts, vampires, and witches. Jack is the leader of this town and is known as the “Pumpkin King”. Jack realizes he has grown tired of the same routine, and is faced with an identity crisis.
Families were invited to take a ride around the square in a horse drawn carriage with Kris Kringle himself. Many kids stood in line with joy as they waited for their chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas.
The scent of fresh pine and baked turkey dominates over all senses, surging into the crisp air of the kitchen. Presents are stacked to the brim of the Christmas tree, while a toy train intermittently passes by. Effervescent ornaments sparkle with the memories of past years. Rooms are full with aunts, uncles, distant cousins, all of who push their troubles aside to celebrate this day once a year: Christmas . It is chaos, but the good kind.

I will be using the Maximist school of criticism to analyze the poem, "how the Grinch stole Christmas". this school of maximise is based on the comparison of the higher and lower class of society by the theories of Karl Max . In analyzing the poem, readers can notice the many differences in the characters spot in society. The Grinch represents the lower class and symbolizes the struggles of being less fortunate and represents the lower class of society. The citizens of whoville, the rich isolated upper class citizens represent the higher class. Firstly, the settings of each character makes it very obvious of the difference in economic class. The Grinch lives in a cave, the "whos" are living in whoville which is known as the area in which only
Starting December 11th – 15th, phoenix high school will have their second spirit week set up this year starting off with Monday being Fuzzy socks, Tuesday is Pajama day, Wednesday will be Ugly sweater day, Thursday- Candy cane day AKA wear white and red, and finally Friday, Santa’s workshop. For people who don’t know what Santa’s workshop is then here’s an explanation; Santa’s workshop is something where students will dress up as basically something Christmas related like a Reindeer, Elf’s, Santa of course, and presents. Students who participate will earn points for their grade level and will show that they have school spirit. Phoenix high will have a PHTV show on Monday morning during advisory and spirit days will then be told to students again for any student who has forgotten along with any other news the school would love to know, such as sports.
The whole reason for my epic cross-country trek was making Christmas in Arizona happen for my kids and today begins the culmination of this extravaganza.
The best part of the holiday season is getting a taste of the holiday spirit in nearly every show on primetime. On Monday night, the festive programing continues. “The Great Christmas Light Fight” highlights diehard American families who take decorating to the next level. I’m looking forward to seeing the display inspired by Magic Kingdom at Disney World. I want to see if it would have Mickey’s approval.
It is now the First Annual North Pole Olympics! Reindeer will be compering in the new North Pole arena. Elfs will be watching and Santa Claus is the judge. There will be two games: A go-kart race and a round of VR freeze tag!
If you have children in your life then no doubt you’ve heard of the Elf on the Shelf. Our elf’s name is Elfie. He makes his appearance on The night of 1st December and hangs around getting into all kinds of mischief until he heads back to the North Pole with Santa on Christmas Eve. I could imagine like all traditions with me, they will start out strong but about a week or so into it “Elfie” may forget to move or we put him in lame spots because I'd run out of ideas. So to ensure that doesn't happen, I have rounded up some hilarious and easy Elf on the Shelf Ideas.
"Well I wasn't talking about on Christmas, silly," Nora corrected, nudging him. "Much as I'd love to save you from her family, I've got family too y'know. But like the weekend or two before we could go into the city, enjoy the lights, maybe do one of those horse drawn carriage rides. There's a literary museum that would be very educational, and the Nutcracker is playing if you wanted to get tickets. All very cultural." She nodded seriously before grinning. Nora loved Christmas, not only for the festive feeling in the air but for the festive mood it usually put most of her conquests into.
It's the time of the year where people turn yards into a giant light displays. In many town squares people create an electric winter wonderland by creating light displays that are set up in amazing patterns to make props of anything that is relative of Christmas, scenes from famous Christmas movies, famous Christmas characters, or Characters that have a cartoon or movie. have speakers that play Christmas music, and setting lights to turn on or off to make a part. In Scottsburg sadly we have a display, but its not interactive or impressive as other towns.

Ol’ Saint Nick arrived in true fashion on a bubble blowing fire truck as children screamed with delight and glee. Live music, food, cocktails, merchandise vendors, and holiday activities for kids made this event enjoyable for the entire family. Toy soldiers stood guard as children eagerly waited in line to take a photo with Santa Claus and his elves. A giant fun slide, bounce house, and rock wall kept kids engaged as parents grooved to music selections from The Journey Church Band, School of Rock, and the Funkabilly Playboys. This holiday event truly was a perfect way to kick off the most wonderful time of
