The Notebook “I am so tired, I need some coffee.” said Alex, “I know right.”agreed Noah. It was in the afternoon when Noah, and Alex finished their college classes and were going to a local coffee shop to get something to drink. They were walking down the street and a man riding a bike dropped a notebook, they yelled to the man that he dropped his notebook, but he didn’t come back. When sitting in the coffee shop, Noah decided to look through the book, for the name of the owner, so he turned to the first page and read “This is the property of… NO ONE.” It was written in what looked to be a permanent marker. “‘Why would someone not write their name and instead put No One, that makes no sense”’ thought Noah. Alex came back with their drinks, he sat down and Noah caught him up on what he had read so far. Alex, who was confused by this notebook decided to flip the page, and what he saw startled him, he saw a picture of him and Noah sitting in the shop in black and white. When Alex looked up, he saw that nobody was in the shop and that their drinks have disappeared as well. The notebook on the table was gone, but a message remained “ Think quickly but careful there's only one way out, Signed NO ONE.” Panic settled in quickly, “Only one way out, I have to get my project done for biology!” Exclaimed Noah. “Try not to panic.” said Alex, trying to calm him. “How are you so calm?” said Noah, “ We are trapped in a world where there's nobody but us and that NO ONE person.” continued
The Notebook is one of my favorite love movies of all time. The reason I love this movie so much is because that main characters Noah and Allie go through so many trials and finally end up together in the end. This movie I feel shows me how strong their love for each other really was and I now feel as if it is meant to be it will always find a way. Looking at the movie as a reference to get a better understanding of how lifespan development works, I realized that most of the trials that Noah and Allie went though were part of stages of development. The theory of stages of development was created by Erik Erikson, he believes that we go though certain stages in our life and if we do not get passed them properly we will end up with
The stories I enjoy to read about, watch, and listen to all involve romance. Most of the romantic stories I am drawn to have similar story lines, which is a guy and girl fall in love at the beginning and become separated for a few years due to a conflict. After their separation one or both characters will find a new significant other. Later on in the story they will run into each other and rekindle their love for one another. When they both discover their feelings for one another are still present they inform their “new” significant other and leave them, to reunite their old relationship. These stories usually conclude with a happy ending, which usually consists of getting married and living happily ever after. The stories people are drawn to do have an impact on who they are as individuals, by leaving individuals with expectations and attributions to inspire them. One story that has set my expectation levels high when searching for love is the Notebook.
Mac left before the Sheriff or anyone else got to the center as he wanted to see how passable the trail was and if he could take the any vehicles up the hill. It was the smallest vehicle they had and it might make it. In several places, the trail wasn’t wide enough to take the quad so he gave up the quad and walked up. The distance to the site Jackie described wasn’t far.
“Well, believe it or not, it’s true.” Dean’s voice was low as he let go of her arm and leaned back on the couch. “Though I guess my timing isn’t the best for it to sound sincere.”
The Maze Runner by James Dashner is a exceptionally thrilling book by James Dashner that tells the tale of a teenage boy that goes by Thomas. Thomas wakes up to find himself trapped in a ascending industrial metal elevator and he is completely surrounded by darkness. It finally comes to a halt where just a few seconds later, The metal doors above him open and a large group of boys greets him and helps him up. He looks around to see that he is in a field with various buildings around him that is surrounded by walls. Thomas later finds out that he has been sent to this place that is called “the glade” and that he was sent there by what the gladers (everyone living in the glade) call “the creators”. No one knows specifically who they are or why
How much impact can life and death make in someone's life? In my case, both
You have no need of my name,” he told her as he pivoted on his heel and walked out.
In James Dashner “The maze runner” this book is filled with tons of action and adventure and can keep a reader attached for hours on end. I am typically not one to read or even like Reading, but this book was great and I know I will read the second book in the trilogy.
A small chuckle escaped James lips and he scratched his neck. “Seems like we'll have to relive the past for a little while here.”
Hands on hips, Carter leaned back looked up at the tower and then down at the body working out angles and positioning.
Michael's back hurt from sleeping on the hard wooden chair but he didn’t mind since he was well rested. He sat up cracking his back. It was still dark out. He noticed there was a note left on his chest. ‘We all went out on the boat to see the sunrise. Be back by noon - Ashton’. Michael didn’t care that they left him he never cared for boats. He stumbled half awake up the stairs making his way to the bedroom him and the boys were supposed to share. He turned the corner and opened the door. Michael froze when he was met with the site of Harry Styles half naked sprawled out on the bed. The only thing covering him was a pair of navy blue pants that cut off just above the ankle.

According to Aung San Suu Kyi, a male dominated society does not mean men are stronger than women, it just means women are kinder. Both Miss. Emily and Mrs. Mallard experienced going through many expectations and restrictions that needed to be proper because of their gender. Their development pattern and their culture was similar. Besides their similarities they differed in how they have changed within time, their physical descriptions, and how they both respond to other people in their society.
