You probably remember his courageous views on immigration and how he is going to build a wall to stop Mexican’s from coming into the country, but has he followed through with his promises. His main promise was to build a wall to prevent illegal immigration, yet he hasn’t to this day. He also promised that he would ban Muslim immigration to prevent terrorist actions, yet when he took the policy to court he failed to pass it and on top of all that he released a budget with a 2 trillion-dollar accounting error. This not the actions of a world leader, this is the actions of someone who has no idea what they are doing and why they are doing it. In his first 100 days, Donald Trump signed 29 laws. With this being said, I tried to watch the debates with an open mind and tried to look solely at his leadership style. I found Trump to be very defensive, childish, inappropriate, and all over the place. During the debates he loved to talk about how great he is; mentioning four times about his endorsements, about his great friends, and his wealth. Needless to say, he was not able to sway me. I will admit, Trump has extreme confidence. This is a great quality. However, he might just be too confident. It comes off as arrogant. Confidence is great to a certain degree, but it can also get you in trouble. He feels he is the best and everyone would listen to him because he is “Donald Trump”. He is so egotistical. There was one question asked about how Trump would order the military to target families of suspected terrorist after the military testifying the expansive use of torture is inexcusable and will refuse orders because they are illegal. His response: “They won’t refuse; they won’t refuse, believe me”.
