Under the Donald Trump administration, his supporters and himself have made it clear his feelings on immigrants, especially illegals. Trump began his campaign by promising to build a wall over the border of the United States and Mexico. This statement has been greatly supported by mostly White supremacist and Native born Americans who believe this large wave of immigrants have taken over their economic opportunities and in order to make “America Great Again” they must accomplish this. The funding for this wall have not yet been passed by congress and Trump will not accept any budget that is under his expectations.President Donald Trump has been in office for just 6 months but has left a mark on international relations. From the moment Trump took office, there has been threats from both the United States and North Korea like never seen before, these comments that Trump is known for using without any sense of consequence can be leading up a nuclear war between the two countries and eventually it’s allies. In another negative aspect, the whole “America First” approach has taken Trump to take radical measures. Including his belief that the United States has been taken advantage of by it’s allies. “Attacking Japan by attacking the 1996 U.S-Japan Treaty calling it “unfair.” Trump has also spoken in a negative emotion about the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Trump does not believe that the placing American troops in Europe is worth it and can be placed to another use. The
Donald Trump is not doing good as president. Some may still believe he is doing good for our country, but the facts will change their opinion. This argument can be proved based on the facts that are in the news everyday. The news shows articles about him firing multiple people in the white house, his insensitive attitude to important things happening in our country, and him degrading women. People are not happy with Donald Trump’s presidency, and the hatred for Trump continues to grow by his actions.

President Obama came into office in the aftermath of the disastrous foreign policy record of the Bush administration. The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 had served as a “switchman,” leading to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Bush administration exercised unilateral use of force and reluctance to engage the international community. As a result global elites and publics viewed the US unfavorably. The US economy was negatively affected by the costs of the wars coupled with the financial crisis of 2007. It was this environment that defined the contours of the election campaign of 2008. Obama campaigned on the idea of change, which represented a regeneration of America through domestic public policy reform and a return to multilateralism in foreign policy. Both domestic and international publics and elites were galvanized by Obama’s message.
In 2016 Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the presidential race to become the president of the united states. Including the likes of Zachary Taylor, Ulysses S. Grant, Herbert Hoover, and Dwight D. Eisenhower, Donald Trump is one of five presidents that has never been elected to public office before becoming President. Instead, Donald Trump gained majority of his notoriety for being a businessman, real estate developer, and former reality tv star. During his presidential race, it was clear the Donald Trump would be like no other president. During the elections
Trump and Clinton are both running for the presidency of the United States. One of the candidates is totally inexperienced and the other is experienced. Trump and Clinton stand for complete opposites of policy and political beliefs on taxes, immigrants and abortions.
As expected trump won all the solid red states and major swing states like Texas and Ohio. Such support was adequate to swamp Clinton's support among nonwhite voters in states like Florida and North Carolina, and fueled him to his stunning bombshell triumphs in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. In spite of an absence of political experience deep down inside I thought Donald Trump would come out on top in the US presidential decisions do to the fact all the craziness that was going on with Hillary. Obviously regardless of a progression of contentions his message resounded with a colossal number of American voters in key states, and uncovered profound anarchistic outrage and discontent. Donald Trump won Texas on the quality of enormous edges with white and
Throughout the history of the United States, in his first one hundred days in office, the President passes a series of executive orders that are directed towards officers and agencies of the Federal government. Similar to legislative statutes and regulations implemented by government agencies, executive orders are subject to judicial review and may be overturned if the orders lack support by statute or the Constitution (Pate, 2017). Newly elected President, Donald J. Trump, has caused protests across the nation and parts of the world due to his controversial orders. Without a doubt, the most controversial of Trump’s orders deals with immigration and how he will put an end to terrorism on U.S. soil.
The election was a fraud, it was very unorganized, unprofessional, and not well put together. As I said about the campaigns; they were not very well thought through and very unprofessional. In my opinion, Trump will be a good president because the United States needed a change. Hillary is a politician, that is usually who gets in for president, but the U.S. doesn't need a politician America need a change; a businessman. Yes trump will deport the illegal immigrants and maybe build a ¨wall¨ but that could be a good thing for the U.S.. Seeing that it is pretty easy to get legalized and become a U.S.. citizen this really shouldn't be a problem, if an immigrant does not meet the requirements to become a U.S. citizen then there is probably a good
Our country is continuously wrought with terrorist attacks by foreign-born migrants and radicalized U.S. born citizens. This causes national security issues to remain at the forefront of the news and political debates. The federal government holds the responsibility to protect our nation from those who seek to harm us. As a result, the Trump administration enacted a travel ban to counteract the issue of foreign-born migrants; who are potentially not screened properly by foreign governments. The travel ban is a controversial national security policy which began with Executive Order 13769, resulting in multiple legal battles, and legislative action should be taken.
Being intentionally simple, repetitive, self-promoting, and self-prophesizing worked to get Donald Trump elected President of the United States. To win the respect they long for and deserve as well as open the eyes of the public to the current plight of public education in the United States, it would be wise for public school educators to draw on the Trump formula. If teachers and school administrators used the formula relentlessly to get their message across, there is no reason why it shouldn’t work for them as well.
You’ve all have heard people ask “Hillary or Trump?”. Ever wonder what they are talking about? They’re talking about the top two candidates that are running for the presidential election, Hillary R. Clinton and Donald J. Trump. Personally I vote for Hillary and so should you. Hillary supports the closing gaps in the gun control that exists now, as well as wanting to keep Social Security , and supports the education programs and is willing to help.
Donald Trump is not a huge fan of Super PAC's but he may be now because one backed his ideas up with a campaign ad. The Great America PAC released an ad on Thursday showing that Cruz (Trump's biggest competition) is seeking to give amnesty to illegal immigrants and allow more Syrian refugees into the United States. Trump has repeatedly bashed super PAC’s because they are funded by special interests. Trump says that he is self-funding his campaign. In the article, Jesse Benton said that despite Trump's disavowal, "we have seen such a huge groundswell of Americans that want to help grow the movement around the Trump campaign that we felt compelled to lay the groundwork for the outside effort Republicans will need to win the White House and lengthen
Donald Trump cannot be the next President of the United States, Hillary has to be. His economic agenda, dangerous rhetoric, sexist remarks, hateful attitude towards Muslims and Mexicans, denial about climate change, and his inability to address the issues the LGBTQ community faces are several reasons he is unfit to be considered the leader of the country. Trump has also been involved in a huge amount of state and federal lawsuits. Hillary has been involved in lawsuits herself, handled situations poorly and has made judgement calls that have been questionable, but these cons are outweighed by Trump’s cons immensely. Trump’s shady past reveals a selfish man who has partaken in actions Americans would all come together and agree are inexcusable
The 45th president of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump. Trump’s platform is based on the two nationalistic concepts: “Make America Great Again” and “America First.” These concepts have encapsulated Trump’s run for presidency, his current term, and his policy. The concept of “Making America Great Again” taps into white people's belief of an white Christian country and their fear of immigration. Additionally, Trump’s comments of Mexicans being drug dealers, rapist, and criminals helps to exacerbate the issue and make White America fearful of being overrun by immigrants that are taking jobs away from hard working tax paying American system. This shown through Trump’s Muslim ban and his decision to reverse Obama’s 2012 executive DACA. DACA essentially protects thousands of young immigrants brought to the United States illegally as children and allows them to remain in the country without constant fear of deportation. Essentially, the slogan “Make America Great Again” talks about returning America to it’s former glory and putting American citizens, especially America's white citizens, first. And, this concept of “America First” is displayed on whitehouse.gov for Donald Trump reads “America First Energy plan” and “America First Foreign Policy.” Both of the plans essentially puts America’s need and American citizens front and furthermost before entering any agreement. This idea can be explained in Trump’s decision to withdraw from Paris environment agreement unless it the agreement is better for American businesses and taxpayers. While Trump’s nationalistic approach helped him win the election, as policy it essentially serves to cut America away from other countries and turn inward if we now as a country refuse to work with
Donald Trump was elected president of the United States of America on November 8th, 2016, and now has been running our country for over a year. As Trump’s first year in office slowly began, his reputation seems to be creating different outside views of our nation and arguments started producing everywhere. After competing with Hillary Clinton for the presidential term in office, Trump defeated her along with her democratic supporters causing one of the most shocking elections in U.S. history. Using public media web pages, we are reviewing both sides of the argument regarding Trump’s election and we are going to decipher why each arguer supports their side, and why each side is reasonable for the benefit of our country.
