Your vote could change America. Voting is also a right for American citizens. One reason you should vote because you can, being able to vote is called freedom it is so important because not everybody has freedom but we do so go out there and use your freedom and vote like a true American. Another reason you should vote is because you show pride in your country if you don’t vote whose hands are your country in? Another reason you should vote is because voting is your voice and you have to speak up and let your voice be heard. Also your children are depending on you to make the right choice and vote to change America. Another reason you should vote is because we
Being able to cast my first vote in the 21st century is a privilege. My generation needs to accept their patriotic responsibility and vote because many reforms are needed in order to carry us into the new millennium. Voting reforms are necessary to inspire political participation for other modifications and adjustments needed in areas such as health care, education, and Social Security, all which we as young people will face in the future. Participation in elections is necessary to facilitate and enable progress, but our present day system of voting is expiring by frustrated Americans.
People in politics will do anything to prove that they are good enough to get the vote of the citizens of America. From working hard to showing that they are worthy voting for. Some people thought it was principle, some people thought it was politics that lead Johnson to make the decisions he was making.
It is important to vote because. We can change the usa. So we can have different presidents.
As a citizens in the US, as soon as we turn eighteen we have the right to vote, this means we have a say in who represents us in government and whether certain issues are passed or not. We can vote in both local and national elections ranging from who’s on our school board to whom the president will be. Since this is America, we are free to complain about how the USA is today, but do we do anything to change it? Most of the USA does not actually do anything, in our generation the USA has seen the lowest voter turnout since World War 2. Some people will complain that their vote does not count but in reality it does, the local elections are based solely on the majority of the people, and in national elections the elected representatives of
In my opinion, each citizen has a civic and moral duty to vote. It is also a requirement, a responsibility, an obligation. It’s part of a bigger picture. I may speak passionately about voting rights, that’s only because as a naturalized citizen, I believe that I have been given this privilege. For me, it is certainly an honor to be able to exercise my free will to vote in this country. Conversely, being able to vote reminds me of how privileged I am in comparison to other countries, whose citizens have no freedom and/or a choice. This country certainly has come a long way, paving the way for all its citizens to be able to vote, when not so long ago, that few of America’s inhabitants could not participate in elections: among the excluded were
Growing up where half of my siblings aren’t born in America and what 's more, one sibling is still not even a citizen reminding me how voting can change everything. Even some of my friends who’s not born here and not a citizen grew up here there whole life with me. It’s terrifying that a vote can send people out of this country to another country where they have no knowledge of, other than being born in their country to get sent back. At first I didn’t care I didn’t think it was much of an issue at all. I was born in America so I didn’t think too much of wouldn’t concern me at all. On top of that, I just assume people are being paranoid that nothing wasn’t going to happen to anyone it is the United States. In my mind the only way they kick you out of America is breaking the law. However, I was mistaken. A few people I knew had been sent away. Voting plays the major part in political history. With reason, voting is subsequently important since it allows us to practice our rights as a Democratic nation. If we don’t vote, then we are allowing others to decide to tell us how to live our life and what’s right for us. Because history and politics in the voting, always had an effect in changing and molding the United States.
As an American there is one responsibility which falls onto the citizens shoulders and that goal can only be achieved through enough members of the country working together. The responsibility for Americans is for the people to work together to preserve and continue to build on the greatness of this country. The work is great, the laborers few, but the time is great and it is my responsibility as an American to help this goal succeed and become a strongly seen reality. The responsibilities that citizens including myself have are expected to be met when possible. These responsibilities include voting, protesting against what is immoral and wrong, and leaving the country better than what we inherited it as, even though these are done piece by piece.
Voting. What is voting? Voting means to bring awareness, to bring change, to be the part of the movement, and to be a responsible citizen of the country. Voting is a primary right and a duty of every citizen of the nation to being responsible for the change happening all over the nation and the world. Most citizens in any country are middle working-class families; the problem they are facing should solved by any of the president or government such as equal pay, low wages, job security, employment rights and similar problems.
If one were to look at the voting history as of late in America you would surely find information on the Florida catastrophe in 2000. The problem with our voting system today is in the technology being used; many demographic groups find our current systems confusing and hard to use. As voters step into the polling places this election year many will be voting through new devices some even sporting “touch screen” technology and we can only hope that the new technology is understood and accepted.
Why My Vote Matters Many might believe that voting in an election is quite useless and that their measly vote isn’t counted. Many factors together, have shown that it is wrong and that every vote matters. My vote matters because as a basic right of citizenship, we are obligated to vote during elections. Another factor that contributes to why my vote matters is that it can determine who will represent my beliefs in the government.
By voting, we add our voice to the chorus that forms opinions and the basis for actions
Do you want to show that you care about America ? here are a couple reasons why you should vote . The first reason is you live in America most countries aren't allowed to decide what is going to happen to their country so you should take a little time out of your day just to go and vote. Another reason is it doesn't take much time out of your day what is so bad about doing that kind of service for your country. Another reason is it shows you want your country to be better and you care who will be running your country and you can pick someone that you think will be there for your kids when they get out of school and if your kids are already out of school and if they want to go to college the person that you voted for will be there for your child.
Voting is a central right to each American citizen. Your vote is your chance to be listened, to hold chosen elected officials responsible for their actions and to have a say in vital issues that influences your community. You can 't have an effectively run democratic government without the backing and votes of the citizens. Voting gives the capacity for individuals to express their opinions about the administration. Each vote consoles our majority rule government and makes it stronger; we can 't allow it to weaken and crumble. A large number of Americans battled for our rights, they shed their blood to give us what we have today. Whether you vote or not, somebody will be chosen president. What 's more, that individual will be your leader, settling on choices that influence you and this nation for a long time to come.
Voting is defined as a method for a group such as a meeting or an electorate to make a decision or express an opinion. On the other hand, an election, is a formal decision making process by which a population chooses and individual to hold public office. An election is a process in which voting takes place. The difference between voting and an election is that in voting you can cast a vote restricted to the choices you are with. This means that in every election, voting takes place because it wouldn’t be an election without the voting element.. For example, we hold elections to elect our next president or government officials. An example, of voting, would be a team voting for their team captain or picking a team.
Voting changed many things in my life, in fact it is one of the most important means of making a difference. I haven’t voted yet, but my parents have made a difference in my life by voting. A government only has power because people vote for it. If you don’t vote, you will give control over all our lives to those who actually go out and do vote.
