Day-in and day-out college athletes sacrifice their study time and social life just to contribute to the athletic programs they are a part of. Lawyers and sports analysts seek to provide a way in which the massive sport’s income can be trickled down to the most deserving of athletes. William W. An example of this is on page 73 ‘Promised ?’ He was screaming now, drawing more looks. He dropped his voice. ‘Promised? You made a promise to someone you just met to keep some kind of secret from me? What is that about.’ Than on page 193 they make up, ‘Remember what I said? I have a boyfriend. If he still wants to be my boyfriend’. The name of the book I read is The Rivalry and it was wrote by John Feinstein. First, the book was about the big rivalry between Army and Navy. It was about how and what they did for their rivalry. A day before the game, it said that they had a lunch together and that whoever won the game would sing their fight song in front of the Cadets and then they would go to the losing team’s Cadets and would then sing their fight song. It was a big rivalry, but when not playing they got along better than what you would think a rivalry team would. The setting in this book is mainly in the Army Campus area, but if they have an away game against another team it will change to that stadium. Then, they would come back home and it would be at Army again.
Time: The time in the book is Christmas Season. Characters Main: The main character is Fancy Nancy. Secondary: The secondary characters are mom, dad, sister, and grandpa. Mood/ Tone:
