The children can get really good physical activity for their bodies. Dodgeball can help a lot of youths work on the eye coordination and their throwing and catching skills. When the children catch then you have to see the ball coming and you will work on seeing it from different sides so they will be faster and be more agile. Matt LaBash even stated that “the children are getting softer because we are trying to coddle them and not let them get scrapes or play certain sports”. This will help the way they play sports and other activities. Students can get faster and be quicker at catching and throwing the ball. First of all sports keep our youth out of trouble. “Sports lead to less smoking, drug use, pregnancy, and risky sex”(“Active Kids Do”). Throughout my life I have been involved with wrestling, and although physically I am not involved in the sport, I have been impacted by the coaches and the wrestlers. How wrestling helps students with strength, speed, and bettering their cardiovascular system is it makes them stronger physically AND mentally. How it helps with physical strength is very obvious, but how it helps with mental strength is it teaches them about having self-discipline and having endurance. Just those skills will help students in the classroom and in the real life on their own. One example of how wrestling betters endurance is, when they're on the mat and they have one period left they're not going to give up and quit, even if they're exhausted.

Wrestling during a match. You don’t need much gear to wrestle, all you need is head gear, a singlet, and shoes. Matches are always wrestled on a mat and in a gym. There are 15 weights in highschool, so that means there are 15 matches when the team wrestles another team.
