Aircraft Loadmaster Many people wonder how military vehicles, cargo, people, and other military equipment ever made it from one place to another without being seen and how this action is pulled off so smoothly. If people only knew more about the military, they would be wonderless. The transporting of military equipment is so unique and detailing that if you’re not precise even the smallest mistake can ruin the entire operation. The loading of the planes are varied depending on the cargo, but wait a second who loads the planes? This is the job of an Aircraft Loadmaster. They perform multiple procedures which ensure that the planes are loaded properly so that the passengers make it to their destination safely, develop a positive outcome from loading an aircraft by taking the procedures extremely cautiously, and making history. Procedures such as recording the weight of cargo, determines the amount of cargo and passengers or troops to be loaded and proper placement in aircraft and computes load and cargo distribution are few of the many essentials of being Air Loadmaster. First off by pursuing this career you would need a minimum of a high school diploma or a GED with 15 college credits and an ASVAB score of at the minimum 36 point to the 99 point test. The definition of sensitive items is anything that considered classified or a mission essential item. They range anywhere from protective wear, maps, patrol routes, nods (night vision goggles) or simply your weapon. The meaning of securing your sensitive items mainly is maintaining accountability for opsec (operation security), mission success and a soldiers overall readiness. If an item is lost and the enemy gets his/her hands on that item it could compromise the mission at hand or give them intelligence on the items we as soldiers use each day. Using habits and exercising the securing of sensitive items will make it possible for the soldier and his or her team to operate at the top performance. Operational

A lot of men see the differences in generations within the military, but few can see that early military formed everything in to the way the military is today. The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast the Marine infantryman’s basic weapons of the 1940s and today, to include the rifle, machine guns and anti-tank weapons.
The use of artillery has provided military commanders the ability to disrupt, destroy, and defeat their enemy’s throughout history. It is important to realize maneuver commanders need reliable, fast, and accurate fire support. The use of integrated fire of artillery provides maneuver commanders flexibility and firepower and is the key to battle success in both the offense and defense. This paper will discuss how modern equipment and innovative techniques to employ that equipment shaped and controlled the entire battle space.

Have you ever wondered what a blacksmith and munitions maker at a Sugar Plantation in the 1800s was like? At the Levi Jordan Plantation, an excavation revealed a cabin that indicates a resident that worked lead, manufactured lead shot, and possibly other metals. This cabin is now called the “Smith’s Cabin”. At the Plantation, western artifacts used in African cultural context have been found during the excavation. Indications from these artifacts show that although these African and African Americans were no longer in their original cultural context, they still maintained some of their African cultural beliefs. The excavation of the Munition Makers’ cabin revealed information about the Munitions Maker, the purpose of the cabin, and showed findings of animal remains.
The purpose of this paper is to provide a summary of an Army white paper, the “Profession of Arms.” The U.S. Army should be “The Profession of Arms” and each soldier should be “The Professional Soldier.” (U.S. Army, 2010). It is important for “The Profession of Arms” to develop expertise, trust, development values, and service at the organizational level (U.S. Army, 2010) l. Also, it is crucial for “The Professional Soldier” to develop skill, trust, leadership, character, and duty at the individual level (U.S. Army, 2010). So, the “Profession of Arms” is comprised of experts and experienced soldiers who dedicate their lives to defend the U.S. Constitution and the American way of life (U.S. Army, 2010).
On average a violent crime takes place somewhere in the United States every minute of every day. When an incident such as an active shooter, terrorist attack or riot occurs, we look to law enforcement for help. The 1033 program permits the transfer of unwanted military-grade equipment from the Department of Defense to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to increase their efficacy when responding to these emergencies. Recently, however, a movement to demilitarize law enforcement in America started drawing national attention after police officers demonstrated their use of such equipment during the Ferguson, Missouri riot on August 9, 2014. Since then, President Obama has shown interest in eliminating the 1033 program with bill H.R. 1232, however little empirical research has been conducted on the suitability of military-grade weapons and equipment in law enforcement as well as the possible impact bill H.R. 1232 might have on local police agencies across the state of Michigan.
It is relatively easy to become a manufacturing technician after military service because most veterans are already trained with the skills needed for many manufacturing positions. The manufacturing industry continues to struggle to find skilled workers, so veteran with technical training will be able to find employment.
The texts present the general idea that contemporary youths are lazy. Heavy Artillery specifically addresses the increase of obesity within today’s youth. It is through the use of humour and the punctuation technique, dashes, that it displays this idea. The author employs humour to mock youths, to get a reaction from the audience and to get his point across in a straightforward, direct and yet amusing manner. “Walking uphill was a lot harder than walking a flat dealie. Ugh.” The author, whilst maintaining the narrative voice of one of the ‘unfit soldiers’, mocks them. He makes their excuses and reasons for tiredness pathetic and pointless, purposely mocking them and consequently showing the audience how weak todays youths are under the temptation of unhealthy
Please continue to cover the BFN weapons incident. Ensure each officer is fully aware of consequences that could have arose from this issue. We are here to protect the public, WBN workers and the plant equipment. Our job is to detect and stop treats before they happen. Tell them to be as vigilant as possible, have a good questioning attitude. Tell them when processing items through the x-ray, if they cannot make out the items then conduct a visual search of the package. Let the officers know we have total confidence in their ability to get the job done right each and every time they perform a task. Thank you
In the Army and throughout every branch there are certain customs and courtesies that every soldier and military member must follow in order for there to be order and discipline on a daily basis. Customs and courtesies are put in to place to show respect for Non Commissioned Officers and for Officers of all rank.
An organization’s efficiency and effectiveness can be solely traced to its leader. When a team within in an organization is found to be at fault, it is a leader’s duty to turn it around. In this particular case, the Wing Safety Office at XYZ AFB needs to rebuild its team into a cohesive unit in order to successfully attack the safety issues distressing the base. Among other noted events, their highlighted failures lie within the high rate of off base traffic accidents in relation to service members and their families. By developing a clear strategy using three Full Range Leadership Model [FRLM] behaviors, this safety office can ultimately achieve purposeful unity. This paper will discuss the idea of using transformational and transactional leadership in order to fully understand and conquer this safety office’s meager performance.
It takes more than just an army to keep America’s military and personnel operating 365 days a year at 100%, it also takes an air force and navy. The task for getting supplies, soldiers, Marines and sailors to where they are needed in the world falls to the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) and its components which is truly a herculean feat. The History Channel series Modern Marvels featured USTRANSCOM in season 17 episode 11 which covered packaging and the technology and creativity that it takes to create and sustain movement of all types of items and people. In the episode the series highlighted all three major subcommands of USTRANSCOM; Air Mobility Command, Military Sealift Command and Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Center. Having served four years active duty in the U.S. Navy directly after September 11, 2001 and now serving in the U.S. Navy Reserves and just recently returning from a deployment overseas to the Horn of Africa I have had firsthand experience with the services of USTRANSCOM and some knowledge about what they do. It is extremely interesting to see how my fellow brothers and sisters in arms help those of us that are not only down range in our designated area of responsibility but as well as at home. Unfortunately the 10 to 15 minute segment was too short to really show all that USTRANSCOM does (its mission), all the different types of equipment they use to complete their missions and the vast array of three subcommands capabilities.
