Prologue (The Incident) See, no one really knows why I’m afraid of Zoe Collins. No one but me, Justin, and my yet-to-be-named savior. Everyone assumes it’s because she’s popular and has the power to make my life a living hell. It’s not. There’s a story behind it. One I’ve never told anyone. Not even Phoebe. It happened when Phoebe and I were in seventh grade. Zoe, the most popular girl in school, had recently become friends with Justin Leavens, the new eighth grader. Justin had moved to our school two months before the incident. He was taller than anyone else in the school, at least twice my size. He seemed to like anyone who challenged him so, of course, he fell for Zoe instantly. In truth, Zoe and Justin made quite the power couple. For the two months leading up to the incident, no one viewed our school as safe. Not even the teachers. Zoe, with her cruel words, and Justin, with his massive fists, could do about anything they wanted, even attempt murder. And with that, I begin my story. The incident occurred on a sunny day, one of the hottest days that year, May 21. My birthday. As tradition on the last day of school, the teachers had planned a field trip to Surf City. I don’t remember much of what happened after our arrival. I most likely spent the field trip following Phoebe around the beach hoping that, just once, I could be the confident one. I remember the end of the trip, however, like it happened yesterday. “Look out!” I hear somebody scream as a football goes
aturday 1777, I had a soccer game. The games started at 12;30, as I arrived at the game, I kept getting nervous and nervous. The frogs were a really good team and this was a huge game to us. This game determined if we made it to the championship or not. I knew all of my teammates were going to give it their all and so was I. If we won, we were going to go to the web and later on that night, stay the night at amy's house. Everyone was counting on the best player, jessa. Jessa was nice and super smart. I really looked up to her. Our team had 14 girls on the team. Our team was one of the best teams, in the district. The game had started, the frogs got the ball first, we took the ball supper quick. We were up 17 points, when the other other team,
The reporter said Justin assaulted Teagan as well; she was having bladder problems, and her mother (Michelle) didn’t take her to the doctor, but she looked at her and said “it looked like pink cauliflower coming out of her vagina and she had been bleeding”. In the report, it stated that Chad found out he attempted to do the same thing to Leslie (8 years old) when she was 2 years old. The reporter said the family resided in Alabama, and Justin’s mother walked into the room and found Justin trying to put his penis in Leslie’s vagina. Heather indicated that she didn’t call the police because she didn’t want him to be charged with a crime. Heather told Justin if he did it again, she would report him to the police, and he would be taken to the Juvenile Detention Center. The reporter was concerned because Justin is now living at the same address as Leslie. The reporter said Heather gave temporary guardianship of Leslie to Supreina Holcomb (July 2012), but the she removed guardianship when she placed the child in the Mobile School District (Gilliard Elementary/March 22, 2013). The reporter has never seen the
It was that time of the year ,which was back to school, it was the day ,I got to meet my 8th grade teacher ,I was sweating and had butterflies in my stomach. It was coincidence to find my friend Sheyla at the parking lot. Sheyla said she has met her teacher ,but needed a few more supplies ,so she was just back from getting her last supplies. Sheyla’s family went with us to met my teacher ,and I was glad to see her because it was quite a while since I last saw her. Later, after we left Berkmar grounds,I went to Sheyla’s house and we hangout the rest of the day. It was the first day of school, usually I would be feeling nervous, but today I wasn't ,which was good because I didn't want have sweating hands and a racing heartbeat. I arrived at Berkamr and went straight to homeroom ,I found my seat and waited. My first day at school wasn't to bad because the only thing

Now Heather goes to sit with “The Martha” group and Melinda is left to sit by herself at lunch every day. Melinda starts getting depressed that she has nobody to talk to and she starts skipping class and getting bad grades, her parents and teachers notice this new change in her but think she is just trying to get attention from them so they just sort of ignore it but her art teacher doesn’t and encourages her to speak and show her expressions through her artwork. Justin was innocently played like a puppet by Naomi resulting in him doing whatever Naomi wanted without her ever getting caught. Since the first day, Naomi played hard to get with Justin because she knew that doing this could help her manipulate him into helping him do her job. Upon requesting several interviews with Naomi she only said, “These kids need to be woken up. They need to realize they can’t be doing this.” What Naomi said instantly proves that she never thought of Justin anymore than a colleague, just a human who was going to use to get her job done. During an interview with Justin he said, “I would have a good time when I would be with her. And I would be with her all the time. And that's why, when all this collapsed and caved in, I felt so-- it just hurt.” Justin truly loved Naomi, which is why even after Justin was arrested he felt hurt.
In this situation, Sedwick was being tormented and stalked by two of her former classmates on Facebook, however this whole dispute all started over a boy that the former student of Sedwick dated and so did Sedwick. One of the girls was upset that Sedwick had once dated her current boyfriend and began bullying and harassing her more than a year ago when they both were students at Crystal Lake Middle School.
The sun rising and birds chirping, a fresh a breath air consumed my lungs. It was the start of my junior year at Coral Park Sr. High, and I was ready to enjoy my year with old friends and maybe have a girlfriend. As I pass through classmate and teachers outside the classroom; going up the main stairs in the back of the school entrance, I was interrupted by a wonderful fruity smell. As I turned to see what aroma lured me, suddenly I bumped my head and fell off the stairs. Once I realize what happen, I quickly ran up to the girl and held her hand; her hair was covering her face at that time so I didn’t pay so much attention. Ring! Ring! Ring! The bell rung and I was late. I apologize to her and told her that I would invite
In the article “ Shattered Lives “ by Kristin Lewis is about a girl named Dania and how she became a refugee because of a brutal civil war that has been going on for years. Dania faced many challenges but, she also figured out how to solve them. In the text, one of her challenges she faced was, “ Warring fractions were bombarding her village with missiles and heavy artillery.” Another piece of evidence is, “ Her school had closed after a shell exploded next to it, sending students scrambling for cover under their desks.” When the civil war was happening she was still living her life like it was normal, but it was putting her in dangered.
When Phoebe moved to her new school she made many friends, but she just made one mistake. Her anecdote begins at South Hadley High School. She was 15 years old starting at a new school. Moving from Ireland to Massachusetts must of been hard but she started out great. She made new friends and was enjoyable to most of her classmates. But one day she made the mistake of dating one of the most popular guys. When they started dating she thought people would be
A person can do a lot in a matter of nineteen minutes. Although it may not seem like a very long time, nineteen minutes forever changed the lives of nearly everyone living in Sterling, New Hampshire. Beginning at 10:16, 10 lives would be lost, 19 would be injured, and countless people would live in fear and constantly be brought back to that day. On March 6, 2007, Peter Houghton brought 4 guns into his high school and began shooting, and shooting, and shooting. Peter’s life had been filled with relentless bullying, ever since his first day of Kindergarten.
Justin’s family stated that they were on their way back home from college. Their belongings were returned to the families and Caleb’s vehicle was not damaged.
On 1-22-16, Leslie stated to her teacher that her brother (Chris) hurt her. She pointed to her arm, and the reporter saw two red marks like little cuts; no bruises. She stated it happened when her mother (Heather) was out the home, and when she was suspended from school (Jan 20-21, 201). The school staff originally thought she was speaking of Justin when she stated her brother hurt her. Leslie stated she was afraid of Chris, and that he beat her up. The reporter did not see any bruises on her forearm, but the reporter did not look anywhere else. She stated that Justin got a knife to protect her, and he went after Chris with the knife. Leslie states that her mother is always at the home, and she does not work. Leslie stated that Heather walked
The first time I actually talked to Sarah Crocker was exactly two weeks ago to this date. I wouldn’t have, if it weren’t for my friends who – of course – dared me to ask Sarah to hang out. I insisted that it would have happened eventually without their nagging and teasing, but between you and I, that’s a load of crap. I was terrified of rejection, and the only thing that kept me from running in the opposite direction was the knowledge that my friends would be waiting for me, like wolves eager to prey on my shame as if it were a wounded
Jones Dawson: Well I think you should stop bothering her. Phoebe Gale: Excuse you? Do you know who I am??? I’m Phoebe the Queen-Bee of this school.
