In the discussion many people stated that the nature of humanity, was for a person to be ambition in what their doing and they used Macbeth’s desire to kill duncan as him being ambitious to become king. However, I felt as though there's a fine line between being ambitious and stone cold greedy and selfish. To begin with Macbeth indeed was an ambitious soldier to his people and in fact during act 1 scene 2, the Captain states “For brave Macbeth, well he deserves that name , disdaining fortune with his banished steel, which smoked with bloody execution.” In this we are able to see Macbeth fought hard for his people and country and was in fact ambitious to win this war that they begun with being outmanned and as a result Macbeth is honored and
