United States of America fought the long and difficult War of 1812 against the superpower Great Britain. Madison waged war on the Britain 's because of the U.S ships were getting bored and impressed to fight for Britain. The U.S couldn 't stand for this so we decide to take on Great Britain. In the end the United States came on top, they destroyed the greatest superpower in the world and the U.S could proudly keep their heads raised high. While The US lost the White house and Capitol building during a fire, The war of 1812 was building block of the US becoming a nation.

That is what they did, they knew they would need all the could get. Also what kept the US strong and Nationalistic was the ability obtain and keep their land, as it says “The US didn’t lose the most powerful country;

The United States showed power never thought possible to accomplish their goal, the way the North and South we able to come together as one. That created the most powerful country in the world. Additionally we had a song that touched all of the people inside the us this was called, “The Star Spangled Banner :The original hand-written manuscript of the poem that became the American national anthem and the Star-Spangled Banner flag that inspired it will be reunited in Washington DC later this summer for the first time.” (The Telegraph Online, Para #1) This song created the US to express their gratitude to be an American. To this day every day we remember how nationalistic we really are singing the national anthem at all sporting events. Showing that the United States is just as Nationalistic today.
