This work is a celebration of the wonders of modern science and astronomy. I set out to make a children 's book that would be fun and educational in order to further younger generation 's interest in fields of science. The work of scientists makes a huge difference in everybody 's life regardless if you become one or not.Science makes the future come to us, they bring us to the farthest spots in time and space and teach us a process for establishing a truth and making wise decisions. I wanted a book that makes people slow down, think a little more, and dream, even if it is only for a moment. What is laid out here is the process of developing this book 's visuals and the research that heavily influenced them. We are a species that are innately nomads. We strive to find that new green pasture that is just over the hill we have not passed yet. In current times we have explored all frontiers available on earth, but now we have a great opportunity to search deep into space. Deep Space exploration is in the efforts to help give us a perspective on our place in the cosmos, inspire, and help our civilization persist through time.
Despite this we are constrained to how far we can travel in theory, no longer can we travel unending distances. We are constrained to a cluster of 54 Galaxies that are drifting away from other clusters. The nearest candidate to be a life hosting star is orbiting Proxima Centauri, which is 4.2 Light Years from our solar system and our
As humans, we are born with a natural desire to learn and discover. With space exploration, we are able to do just that. In an online essay called “Is Space Exploration Worth the Cost”, Dr. Joan Vernikos,
We as a human race are mentally programed to explore the unknown whether it is sneaking out into the woods behind your house as a child or going up into the depths of space. Curiosity is what allows us to think outside the box, and when we expand out of our comfort zones we discover things that help advance our race as a whole. There was once a time when space exploration was just a science fictional thought – humans were never expected to pass through Earth’s atmosphere. It all began during the Cold War, when different counties began competing with each other. The race resulted in numerous satellite launchings and the mission that brought man onto the moon; Apollo 11. This inspired so many in the rising generation to pursue careers in science
In even the most primitive civilizations, the extra-terrestrial has had immeasurable influence on society. Mankind has always had an urge to explore the great unknown, and answer the most fundamental questions of our existence. Space exploration deserves not only to be a top priority in our nation, but much more funding than it already has, because it is rooted with history that has taught us many things and will continue to do so, it will help us advance technology beyond the scope of commercial innovation, and it can answer the greatest questions that every civilization has tried to answer.
Although space exploration is now being emphasized on and invested in, what does this do to benefit earth or even every individual who lives on Earth? Many writers, engineers, mathematicians, and chemists can agree that space exploration is going to provide more research for medicine and environmental factors. Others may also argue that the risks of exploring another planet will be too damaging because the life or atmosphere as it is will not be the same after humans have made their print on it.
Space has always been an unknown to the humanity, and therefore humanity has in insatiable desire to know as much as possible about the area beyond the Earth's atmosphere. Exploring space can lead to many new and exciting discoveries such as (see hubble, planets, kepler, moon rocks etc). When the United States first entered the realm of space in the [1960s], NASA had much funding. However, the motivation of this funding was not for science – it was political, as the government was determined to beat Russia in the Cold War Space Race. Today, as there is no political motivator as great as the Cold War, NASA is faced with a lack of funding and must make hard decisions. They must decide between the adventure and excitement of sending manned missions
Humans obsess over the exploration of the unknown. The majority of our vast solar system remains unexplored. Most humans don’t have an idea what could be waiting for us outside of our atmosphere. Nonetheless, space exploration is not necessary unless our world is either perfect or destroyed. There is no need to throw away billions of dollars on space exploration missions when there are other necessities that need to be sought to first.
Space exploration is an ongoing discovery and exploration of celestial structures in outer space. There is an ongoing debate wheter or america should invest in space exploration, but many may argue its just a waste of time and money. Good oppotunites and benefits are highly possible to happen due to space exploration. There are many interesting and benificial things such as finding another presence, facts about how mars became i dried freezing dessert, and solving the fianl mysteries.
I have gathered you all here to persuade you that space exploration is indeed worth the risk despite what a few people think. Those people think that exploration is a complete waste of time and money, but I would have to completely disagree with them because it has many benefits for the human race. Exploration is worth the risk, because it will give us information and resources that we didn’t have access to before we explored that place.
As science has progressed over the years, there have been many forms of exploration and discovery to find the answers we seek. One of the best examples are the Apollo space mission that were done by legendary astronauts and scientists. There have been many individuals over the years that wanted to know what was in space, but scientists now have the technology to experiment machines that can easily answer the questions of the universe we have. An article by Ronald J. White talks about how these missions have been accomplished for more than 40 years and how these events have made advancements on how people are able to travel through space when discovering the worlds that lie beyond our planet. After so many years of research, we have found so
Space was so mysterious and frightening for thousands who dared to look up at the heavens. Many dared to wonder about what actually lurked and waited for mankind. Eventually man took the steps necessary to take the final leap into the unknown. Throughout history NASA has contributed to several extraordinary feats of science and space exploration from the moon landing to the Curiosity rover NASA has been vital to finding cosmic knowledge for mankind.
Space is something that we humans are never going to be able to comprehend and understand what it is exactly. But knowing that still is not going to stop us from trying to know as much about space as we possibly can. The Apollo missions took that step to reaching greater heights, and landing on our moon to know more about what it is and what is on it. These missions changed our look on space travel and what humans can accomplish if we put our minds to it.
And through that, we created a new frontier, a new goal. We reached beyond our planet. “We explore for the benefit of all human kind,” Jody Singer, deputy director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville and a 1983 graduate of UA’s industrial engineering program, said. “This country, this nation, this world has always been explorers. It's really the heart of who we are and what we do. It inspires us to look around the next corner. It inspires us to try to understand. We'll always have that inquisitive mind.”
As humans, we always push to explore for new discoveries, it is in our blood to explore and push scientific boundaries. Space exploration has allowed us to expand our technology, foster a curiosity in humans, discover new worlds, and most importantly push even further to discover life in a new planet. With the advancement of new technology and innovators, there has been a significant discussion whether sending humans with the support of robots is the most efficient method. However, there are great arguments made that sending exclusively robots on space exploration is the best strategy. There is
Mankind has always been fascinated with exploring the unknown. From sailing to distant lands to someday setting foot on other planets, the spirit of exploration is the same. Bur now with the current economic situation and the high cost of sending people to space, NASA is being looked at as a way to free up some much needed funds. Although, there is many problems here on planet Earth that need addressing, the benefits of space exploration far out weight the disadvantages. Space exploration has given us more advanced technology, advances in the medical field, and a boost to the economy and these facts cannot be disputed.
Humans have always been interested in space and the wonder in which it may hold. In the past, humans worshiped the stars as if they were gods while also studying their position to give them guidance for their lives. Their interested in space has fathered the desire to know more. Today, space has been seen by many as the new frontier or the home beyond earth. Society have even taken a step forward through the creation of stories in books and movies based of the idea of humans living in space and the present of alliances. Yet there is still controversy on the need to continue space exploration when our own planet has so many detrimental problems. There is an ongoing debate on whether not the money used for space travel could be better beneficially use for other causes. It is true that space exploration costs billions of dollars a year alone according to NASA current budget, which is constantly increasing. However, what many refuses to understand is that without space exploration many of the innovations that we have today would not have existed. While there have been, many failed attempts involving space exploration that has caused a tremendous amount of money to go down the drain. However, many people fail to realize the benefits of space exploration and the possible future it may
