The signs of the zodiac are identified with twelve groups of stars. They were associated with one of the four elements. The word zodiac means “the circle of animals. Zodiac signs relate to the Greek Myths because, the Greek Zodiac’s told how the groups of stars found their way into the heavens. The twelve signs explain how those groups of stars found their way into the sky. Born on May 30th, 2004, I am a Gemini. Gemini is the third sign of the Zodiac. It is represented by the Roman Numeral two. It symbolizes energy. It means they are social people, also that they are energetic, and always will go in the direction that they want to go in. My zodiac story starts with the Castor and Polydeuces, twin brothers. The story behind Gemini starts with two twin brothers, Castor and Polydeuces. Their mother’s name was Leda, the Queen of Sparta. They are called “twins” but they have different fathers.Tyndareus, the King of Sparta, was Castor’s father, so that made Castor was a mortal. Throughout that expedition this guy named Idas killed Castor and Castor was sent to the underworld. Polydeuces was very upset because of that. As time went on Zeus requested that Polydeuces should live on Mt. Olympus with the rest of the gods. Polydeuces declined saying that he couldn’t live like that without his brother. Zeus, with love, gave Polydeuces the right to see his brother Castor again, sometimes in the underworld and sometimes on Mt. Olympus.
