Greek mythology is not the only myth out there about the way the Leo consolation was created. New theory's can also be adapted. For example, before even man were created, the animals had their society. There would also be a hierarchy in the jungle. The greater and stronger the animal was, the higher it would be placed in society. The main animals during this time period are know known as the zodiac animals and the others branched off of them. The Pisces, was at the bottom of this chain for it was just a weak scared fish followed by Virgo the virgin and Gemini. Next was cancer the crab, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Libra. The nobles of this society was Aries, Scorpio, Taurus and Aquarius. The king of the jungle was Leo the Lion because of it;s dominating features and how the lion made sure everything was in place. These days it was always sunny and bright and there was never darkness for 500 years. On the 500th year anniversary the sky turned dark and for 50 days it never got bright. The Greek myth behind Taurus is that Zeus fell in love with a young girl named Europa, and transformed into a kind and gentle white bull in order to trick the girl into climbing on his back. When she did, he whisked her away to Crete by swimming there through the sea, and thereafter she had three of sons with Zeus.
