Nikola Tesla was born into a modest, Eastern European family, but had an interest in technology and inventing from an early age. Like many Europeans, he would move to America in search of greater opportunity and success. However, unlike most of his European counterparts, Tesla's achievements in electrical engineering would change the world forever. From electric motors to AC current to one of the hydroelectric dams in the world, his designs and inventions changed the way we live. While Nikola is a lesser known historic figure than other inventors of Industrial Revolution, he is one the most important engineers in modern history.

Nikola Tesla was a brilliant visionary. He was a true genus who could picture how an invention would work in his mind and then create it. He held over 700 patents worldwide. Tesla’s achievements include transmission of energy, robotics, radar, electricity, and transmission of communication wirelessly.

There are numerous minds that came before us. They changed the way we think and live our daily lives. One of them was Nikola Tesla, a legendary man who was a visionary, inventor, and lastly a talented engineer. He’s accolades has changed the world and made it a better place.

The age of the Enlightenment was a time when people were coming together and creating new ideas and inventions to improve the life of the people. Many things were made during this time period, and without them life today would be very different. Examples of some of these inventions are the light bulb and the phonograph that Thomas Edison is credited with inventing. With the light bulb, our days would be cut short due to fact that people can’t see in the dark. Without the light bulb and phonograph things like TVs, cell phones, computer, and other electronic devices that people today can not live without would have never been thought of. The focus of this essay is what caused Edison to become an inventor and some of his inventions like the previously stated light bulb and phonograph.

Thomas Alva Edison was an unconventional genius that played a vital role in shaping the modern world with his inventions, but didn’t accomplish this role easily. Edison led an inquisitive life encompassing his disruptive adolescence, unconventional methods of success, and exceptional ability to endure failure. Although his inventions and ideologies exemplified him, Thomas Edison overcame tremendous obstacles throughout his lifetime before achieving his anticipated goals.

We would not be going to see marvel movies in theaters, and would not be able to communicate to each other. Thomas Edison legacy he left behind was his inventions and the room for improvement of those inventions. Even to this day humans are continually advancing technology through means of using electricity and communication. None of this would be possible without the great mind of Thomas Edison. In hospitals today they use a form of his X-ray technology to help find serious problems in patients. Doctors are able to save millions of people's lives due to Edison's invention and experiment in X-ray technology. Thomas Alva Edison is the single most significant figure in American history. He shaped and modernized the way America was and now is today. The book captures every detail in Edison's life from his struggles to his dreams. Alexander Graham Bell was an amazing inventor and greatly affected the technological world. Without Alexander Graham Bell we would not have many of the things that we use every day, including the telephone. He also helped a bunch of deaf people by making a school for them and teaching them.
