Time For Recess

Have you ever heard a child complain to someone about something happening at school or about them being too tired to do something because of at school or from not getting enough sleep? Kids now hardly get sleep because of after school activities ending too late, from staying up late to do homework, etc. I believe that if we cut back recess just a little that kids will have more time to get their homework, or classwork finished so they don’t have to worry about it later on.

Ultimately, middle school student should have recess. Although some may say that recess takes away learning time for play time, which they can do during gym class they are wrong. Recess helps student be able to concentrate better in their afternoon classes, so that they can learn things quicker. Which overall they will learn more in the school year if they have recess. It may take away learning time but without recess by the end of the day teens are daydreaming. And will take way longer to learn things that should take them 5 minutes. Recess also gives students a time to make their own decisions and learn how to communicate with others when they get jobs. It also keeps students active and healthy so that they are able to come to school healthy

Do you want to have more fun at school? Improve kids social and even physical skills? I hope you said yes! We need longer recess because it burns energy so they less hiper during class, cuts down on obesity, better classroom behavior. Recess should be longer.

My first reason, Why I think we should have recess Is because It helps kids learn. By giving them a way to explore different things around them. Helps kids brains reset and it is also Scientifically tested. And last It helps kids improve their memberizion skills.

Most middle schools don’t believe that recess is part of a school day, but in Finland students get 15 minute breaks during class and they can focus after the break. In our middle school, we don’t have recess and only five minutes in between classes. Even during lunch, we have thirty minutes to eat and hang out with friends. There are many reasons for the middle schoolers here to have more recess time.

Should students have recess or not? Many people say that kids should have recces… well manly kids but you get the idea (i am a kid but whatever). Now i have a several reasons as to why we should have recces, but i will only be telling you a few.

They get the energy unused when sitting inside all day used for doing something fun, so they aren't jumping around and fidgeting while testing. They can get exercise from playing games, rather than staying inside to do worksheets all day. They also can talk to their friends without disturbing class. I think we should have recess so we can be with our friends, release the stress of trying to get all their assignments done, and get some exercise instead of sitting in a classroom all day.

The reason kids wouldn't have extra time in the day, is because since school will start later, it would end later as well. After school is when kids can get away from teachers and rules and enjoy having fun with friends or do extra curricular activities, but when it gets late in the day, it gets dark out and stores close. The area can also get filled with creeps who only go outside when it gets dark so they can do drugs or try to steal stuff. School starting later would decrease the time kids have to do other things besides school. If our whole day would be spent in school, we would all turn into nerds!

Do you miss recess the one part of your day everyone looks forward towards the point where you let all your energy out and go crazy. Yes we should set a time for recess is because, we get to take a break from working and let out all of your energy also you can get some exercise while doing it for example running you do that the entire recess, And it takes away class time so your day is shorten.
